Chapter 6: Knowing about his disease
Crystal then made her way towards the lord's study room behind him. As they both reached there the lord opens the door and let her in first like a true gentleman. This sweet little gesture from him made her very overwhelming as her respect for the lord increased even more.
After that Damien went to sit on his usual chair and gesture her to sit at the chair which is placed at the opposite of him. She then sits and at that time some one knocks the door and lord told him to come in. Then only the lord's right hand man enters the room with some kind of papers, then they start their conversation about the job she is going to do.
"Do you know the disease that the lord is suffering from?" Mr. Christopher asked her then she told him with a simple nod "No".
"He is suffering from the disease named as 'Jorrîs nè pernīm'. During a war against the black witches and some other types of creatures like magical giant spiders, magical giant snakes and some other creatures lord has got this permanent disease. There was a very poisonous spider who is very rare in this whole world named as 'Jorrîs' and somehow it was able to bite him at his neck which results in releasing it's poisonous substances in the lord's whole body. This spider's poison was very very dengerous for a pure blooded vampire. They can't be able to resist this poison. Once this poison enters their body then it slowly starts deteriorating the whole body day by day which leads to the only thing called death. This disease has a cure but know one knows about that. we have tried so many healers and also offered them a great price in exchange of the cure but all were failed. No one has ever be able to make the antidote or even give the lord any type of medicine. know one knows how to cure it, but we hope that may be you will find a way, other wise he is not gonna live more than next 20 years." he said in a vey sad tone.
When she listen that he is not gonna live for any longer with out any kind of medical treatment her heart get sank due to some unknown reasons. so she instantly made up her mind that any how she has to get him back to his old self so that he can be able to live his life perfectly again. In between her thoughts she didn't notice that lord is scrutinizing her every movement very keenly.
"Don't worry general Christopher. You can trust me. I will try my best to get him healed very quickly. Can I see the documents so I can able to know which type of treatment he had gotten.... according to that I can prepare the treatment schedule for him."
"Yeah, sure miss Crystal..." with that he goes near a wall and did some kind of spells. after that the wall begin to reveal a shelf where a file was placed . he brought out that file from there and then handed it to her. she checked all the thing that she needed before starting his treatment, after that she handed back the file to general Christopher.
Then the general placed that file in it's usual place than again close the wall with the same spell, than made his way towards outside leaving the both alone.
"I have figured out the cause of your disease milord. So I think I have to prepare something for you to drink so that it will reduce the chance of yours to getting more infected. that's why I have to made my way towards the experiment room of the healers." with that saying she hurriedly made her way towards the door. She was getting more and more nervous under his continuous intense gaze. from the time they enter the room till the general made his leave the lord didn't shift his eyes away from her which made her extremely nervous and she can't be able stand in front of him even for a second. so she said all these word in one flow in one breath then without responding anything from him she was about to get out of the room, suddenly he stopped her,
"Stop Christie !!!" he told her by slightly raising his voice. "Did I tell you to leave? Don't you know that without my permission no one dares to move from their places. Now turn around !!! I don't repeat the things Christie. so better you follow my command." He told her in the same cold voice void of any expression. Then only she turned around to face him with a slight bow.
"Pardon me milord. I didn't mean to disrespect you. it's...it's just that I don't know how but I made the mistake. please forgive me milord." she said with her pleading voice while looking at the ground the whole time.
The fact that she is not looking at him made him more irritated.
"Stop looking at the ground and look at me. I'm also not liking the fact that someone is talking with me but not looking at me." he said in a very dengerous voice.
Without delaying any second she lifts up her head and then looks at him directly.
She again goes mesmerized by the beauty that standing proudly in front of her. but somehow she composed her posture. Wait what!!! then only she realised something...Did the lord just call her by a nickname !!!?
"So what you were saying...you are gonna prepare a drink for me? hmm... interesting. So tell me how it would be like if you try to prepare that drink here in my office..." then muttered to himself so that only he can able to understand "so that I can able to watch you the whole day..."
Then only she is able to come out of her trance then told him, "What did you say at the last part? I can't hear that properly milord. ca...can you please say that again?"
"Nothing..." he cuts her off completely.
"What do you mean that I will prepare that drink here in your room. it will be more easy to make the drink in that experimental room milord."
"NO !!! I want you to made the drink here in front of me. I don't know anything. just do as I say and about the ingredients you need you can call Mrs. Auris and tell her the list so that she can bring those things here. Do you understand?" He said in a quite furious voice.
Why is he insisting me to make the drink here...ohh god why he has to be so complecated. Doesn't he have his trust on me. Does he think that I may give him any type of poison. Then only she realised that may be it is the reason so that he can put his eyes on me.
God...what I have got myself into. But I'm also Crystal. He doesn't know me that's why he is acting like this. Anyhow I will made him believe that I'm an innocent person. just wait and watch.
humppphhhh...She made another promise to her self than released s sigh of relief.
"Ok, I understand...as you say milord." with that she whispers Mrs. Auris name and within a second she reached there in front of his study room. then Crystal reach for her and told her to bring all kind of necessary things that will be required for making the drink. with that she nodes and made her way towards the experiment room.
Now also lord is drinking the blood from the glass by taking the small sips and keeps staring at her constantly. Her nervousness begin to rise and she begin to squirm under his intense gaze. Her mind has stopped working. 'ohh...god what should I do now?'
Unable to handle his intense gaze anymore she suddenly blurted out,
"Lord Damien..."
"Hmm..."
"Why are you keeps staring at me?"
"Because you are so pretty."
Now her cheeks are turned into a human tomato. now she feels herself as the world's most stupid girl that is exist.
'why did you asked him the question? you stupid girl?... uuugggghhhhh'
She could't decide what to say anymore because she is now completely speechless. should she say thanku or what. Thank God that time Mrs Auris has reached there at the right time. she is more than happy now...that someone came for her rescue from this deadly gorgeous creatures otherwise she is gonna faint any time soon. then ignoring lord's complement she headed towards Mrs Auris then took all the ingredients from her and then placed it on the nearby table....
