Chapter 12: Talk with Lady Aerona...
After eating the food Crystal is sitting at her place quitely and looking at her lap while Damien is staring at her holding a smirk on his face. In this time Alena came to the room and cleans the table where the food was places and smiled slightly by looking at the sight in front of her. After finishing her work she made her leave.
Now unable to held his intense glare anymore she tried to change the topic.
She rose her head slightly and meet his gaze but that he didn't care and shamelessly watched her face. She blushed again but composing herself she tried to avoid his gaze and told him,
"Milord, the council may need your presence. You should not be staying here for so long." She said lowering her voice slightly as if she is forcing herself to say those words, but in reality she doesn't wants him to leave.
"Are you sure that you want me to leave?" He asked by raising his one eyebrow slightly and with a smirk on his beautiful lips.
"I...I mean milord, I'm only saying that you may have to handle many state matters so why are you wasting your precious time by staying here?" she told him very nervously.
"No I have nothing to do now." He said her with the same mischievous tone.
"But you ha....." he cuts her in the midway and asked her again.
"Do you want me to stay or leave?" He suddenly asked her seriously.
"Yes...I..I want you to st..."she blurted out suddenly but when she realised she stops in the mid way and tried to correct herself,
"I mean yes I want you to stay but what will you do by staying here. There is nothing here which needs your concern milord."
But Damien was more persistent to staying with her. Then again he replied shamelessly,
"Who told you that there is nothing here which needs my concern. There is a very important thing here who needs my concern."
Unable to understand anything she again blurt out, "and what is that milord?"
"YOU"
"WHAT !!!"
"Yes, you are the one who may needs my concern. Don't you?"
"Umm...milord please don't worry I will be fine. anyways I was just going to finish my unfinished work. Which will take only a few moments." She said blushing profusely and tried her best to made the lord leave the place. But that stubborn Damien was not ready to listen to her.
"Ok, then finish it. I'm sitting here reading that book." He aimed his hand towards a book which was placed one of the bookshelves in that experiment room.
Ohh...god why he has to be so stubborn...
"Ok then." She told him and then back to her unfinished experiment. And on the otherside Damien was sitting there calmly and continued his reading.
After sometime she finished her work and told him that her work got over.
"Hmm...then shall we leave now?"
"Yes, milord..."
Then they both made their leave. Now they are doing some random topics like about their likes, dislikes etc. etc.
On their mid way Christopher suddenly appeared in front of them and told lord about the current state of the kingdom. and also told him about the council members who are called for an urgent meeting.
"I have to go now...do you have any problem?" he asked her gently. Even Christopher got shocked by watching lord in this gentle state but he said nothing.
"No no...not at all. don't worry milord I'm fine. you should go now."
"Ok...be careful..." he said giving her a warm smile which she also returned to him. then the both lord and Christopher headed towards the council room.
Now Crystal is walking randomly thinking about Damien and she is completely lost in her thoughts, then she got stumbling upon someone. When she rose her head she saw lady Aerona. so without wasting any second she asked for her forgiveness.
"Pardon me milady. It happened due to my carelessness. It will not repeat in the future." she said to her slightly trembling.
"Ohh...my dear, there is no need to say sorry ok. it was just a mere accident. btw I think you already knew me. don't you?" she asked Crystal very gently.
"uhh...yeah milady. I'm very well recognised you. you are lord's sister."
"Good...so now I wants to talk with you. I mean from the first day I'm looking forward to talk with you but due to my stubborn brother I was unable to do it. so tell me are you free now? or you have to something?"
"No...no milady I have nothing to do now. I was also looking forward to have some talk with you." she told her and now they both are sitting on a sofa and chatted randomly.
"Hmm...So tell me Crystal who gave you the name 'Crystal' ?" she asked her very excitedly.
But Crystal face is showing some mixed feelings as if she is feeling both happy and sad because she remembered about her mother and also remembered that why is her mother gave her the name'Crystal'?
"My mom has given me this name, because she found me very clear and beautiful. she told me once that whenever I will go I will surely shine like a crystal."
"wow such a nice thinking." then they both are did some random talks about nothing specifically .
Then their talk shifted about the lord. Lady Aerona told her about Damien. his nature, his likes, his dislikes and almost everything about him except his past, because only the lord has the right to discuss about his past and it's not her place to tell her about his past.
Then Crystal got to know that may be he sometimes acts as a cold man without holding any expression on his face but deep down in his heart he is craving for the love which he deserves the most but there is no one who can love him whole heartedly and another thing is he likes to eat Spaghetti Pasta Carbonara. so she decided to made the dish for him.
"Is there any problem if I use the kitchen?"
"No not at all dear...but what are you planning to do?"
"I wants to make the food for Lord Damien."
"Wow...that's a great idea... Damien is gonna very happy. Do you want to make his favourite dishes?"
"Yes, milady...I wants to make the Spaghetti Pasta Carbonara for him."
"Ok...I will lead you towards the kitchen."
Then they both got up and headed towards the kitchen.
"Will lord like it?"
"He will love it dear..." she told her excitedly.
"Ohh...but I don't know how to make that? "
"Don't worry...the maids will direct you properly so that you can make the dish for him."
"Ok..."
When they entered they both greeted by the maids and then Lady Aerona ordered them to help Crystal. They all noded and after that Crystal has gone with themselves. Lady Aerona also told her all the best and made her leave. Now Crystal is struggling to make the food for Damien.
