Chapter 1: Countdown....10
Another year is about to come in and Clayton's family keep bothering him to come and hang ont with them. He just wanted to sit in front of his TV and play Final Fantasy. He wanted to collect the items needed to go to the next scene. He was playing his avatar, Cloud Strife. Clayton was driving Cloud out of Cosmo Canyon and was on his way to Nibelheim. Nibelheim was his and Tifa's hometown. On the way there Cloud comes upon a lake which he needs to cross to get to the town. While playing Clayton's controller starts to vibrate hard and then he noticed the TV glowing brighter. He seen a hand come out of the screen and pull him in. For a mintue Clayton thinks is having a outer body experience. When he come to he is now in the game. He is thinking to himself "What the hell just happen? How did I get in here?" Then he hear the game narrrator talk to him.
"Welcome Clayton." "What?" he said to himself. "Is the game talking to me?" "Yeah" the narrator said. "Why is it talking to me?" He commented. "You are an now in this game. You don't know how or how should I say it, but you are part of the story. Clayton was thinking "How I am apart of the story? " He was still not sure that he was in a game or if he was dreaming. The game said to him: "Welcome to Final Fantasy VII. This is the beginning of a new journey. Now if you will follow me, I got your reward for doing the quest 'Get Ready for the New Year'. For you to return to your world you must help Cloud get through each level without dying, plus collect the items needed to complete each area. Once you complete the story you will be able to return home.
"Excuse me narrator, but wasnt't there an award?
"Oh yeah about that. Well your reward is experiencing the game." the narrator explain. "Oh, cool. How did you survive and get your prize?" "Well I didn't follow the rules and I've been stuck in here ever since. But I did find a loophole. If you can complete the game like your suppose to. I can return home. " Then the narrator add "I need to warn you, Cloud is going to be in some trouble for along the way while you play as him. That's part of the reason your in his body. Now be careful because if he gets hurt. You get hurt. So do your best not to get hurt. If you die you go back to last save point and all the items you collect will not be with you. Now off to the races. Good luck."
Clayton was just about to step through the portal when the narrator had another thing to tell him.
"Clayton when go through the portal you will be join by Tifa and Aerith. They will be your partner for this scenc. Each time you play a need scene you will meet a character to help in that area or along the way. Look at your wrist." Clayton looks at his wrist and notices a watch.
"This watch can contact me in case you need help or need information about the people you will be meeting. Just reminder since your new to this experience. So go on through. And have fun and be careful. Talk to you later." Clayton step in as Cloud through the portal.
He wonders through what seems to be a different atmosphere. For a moment, he thinks he is floating but then he realizes that he standing on the foot of a mountain. He looks to his left and there stands Tifa. Wow she's a babe he thinks to himself. Tifa is Cloud's childhood friend. She join AVANLANCE to stop Shrina from destroying the world. She eventully convince Cloud to join too. And to his left stand Aerith who Cloud bummed into early in the game when trying to escape from Shrina soliders. Clayton thinks he brought a flower from her while play Cloud. Aerith is a descent of the group called Cetra. Shrina has been after her, they think she is the key to the Promised Land. Cloud and her are suppose to be lovers, but Cloud can't remember(which will explain later on as we play). After memorizing he proceed on with the mission. Clayton pauses the game to ask the narrator a question.
"Hey narrator! Narrator!
"Yes?" the narrator called out.
"Yeah so since I'm playing as Cloud. I need to play like him. You know how I would play him if I was at home in front of my TV. I mean I can't just talk anyway I want. Right?
"Oh good thing you ask the question. So yes you have to play the way the game is supposed to be play and no you can't change the language. Cause we don't want a glitch in the game. And to be honest I don't even know what happen it that we're to incur. So ask the game is going going we will called you Cloud when it pertains to the character and call you, you by your name. Got it." Clayton gave the thumbs and unpause the game.
Tifa goes about the talking being burnt down but when they arrived it looks like nothing ever happen. Aerith sense that something is strange about this town and wonder about that. Cloud expressed his curiosity about it. While they get into a fight with soliders and walked into an inn and ran in to some strange creatures in black capes. Cloud tried to talk to one of the creatures, but they started talking about some reunion. So Cloud and the girls left the area and went to another where the creatures were saying the same nonsense and they notice that they had numbers. What did this mean? Cloud had a rough idea about these creature.
After the battle , they walked to the house where Cloud started talking to a lady about what happen to the town. He told the lady that the town burnt down but, she cursed him for saying such terrible things. He went to other people's houses telling him that he had been living there since he was 14 and they told he was telling lies. Clayton starts to wonder what is wrong with these people? Why wouldn't Cloud not know if the place he lived at had burn or not. It started todrive Clayton crazy. Every creature that Cloud ran into had given his a item and sprouted off that Sephiroth is coming and taking them to the reunion. After doing alot of running getting information that decided to get some rest and start up early the next morning.
The next day more black creatues are out and circling around in front of the Shinra Mansion. As they proceed in to the building they run into some monster. After they finish fighting them Cloud opened all the cases in the mansion and collect the items. Alot of useful stuff that can be useful Clayton said to himself. Clayton is wondering where the action will come into play because he is getting oftenly tired with all this running around fighting. After the last fight they enter a room with a safe. Clayton thinking "I bet there is money in this safe". The walk up to the safe and a message pops up asking them if they want to open the safe. As they say yes timer starts. Clayton thinking to himself "OH SHIT! How I'm going to open this safe? I can't even remember the code to my cellphone and now I got to open a safe. The time is ticking and he puting in number and the safe make a uh oh sound.
"Damn. Now what is the code to the stupid safe? He proceed to look for the number and he finds all of them and enter in the code. And eureka it opens! Out pops material and for those listening is the stuff you use to help you when fighting monster. Now Cloud grabs the item and him and the girls are off. They run down the walkway and go around a circle, wooden stair well. The continue down this hall and see a door to the left, and enter. In the room lies a coffin. Clayton thinking "What is this coffin doing here in a mansion." He thought it was pretty strange. He only hope there was person in there. He shutter to the idea. So Cloud inspected the coffin and a voice was heard within.
The person in the coffin was having some sort of nightmare because he surely didn't want to be disturb. He was being a real butt to the group. Aerith wanted to know why he dreamt of bad things and why he was sleeping in a coffin. The character was in the coffin because he was atoning for something he has done. Then he rudely those them to get out. Cloud wanted to know more about this person Sephiroth. from Cloud knows and from talking to those black creature, Sephiroth has lost his mind and has found some sort of secret in the mansion. Then the character questions Cloud by saying "Do you know Sephiroth?" And then Cloud proceed to they what he knows so far about Sephiroth. He tell all that he know and then the character tells them that Sephiroth must now know he was created five year ago and the Jenova Project. Jenova Projecr is a bunch of expermints done by the Shrina Corporation. Sephiroth had previously went missing and then all over sudden he reappeared. He has killed many people because he is seeking the Promised Land. The mysterious character ened the conversation which pisses off Aerith. He jumps back into his coffin so he can continue atoning for his sin by having these nightmares. Then he politely asked them to leave and the coffin door floats back down. "What an ass," Clayton thought to himself. He made us tell him everything we knew and didn't tell us a damn thing. So they leave the room and head to the door to the left of them. After leaving the room another pop up message comes up telling us that the person we just spoke to his name was Vincent. Clayton figures that he will know more about him later on in the game. Then enter a study room filled with tons of book scatter everywhere. They go futher into the next room and that where they meet SEPHIROTH!

This is my first contest and writing this sort of genre. I will tried my best to get the next chapter out to you. My son is still in school.
