Chapter 1: Wheelz Mealz
Jordan has been working at the Wheelz Mealz since his 16th birthday. The Wheelz Mealz is a cafe that has it's servers roller stake between tables. He enjoys working there, he works there with his friends who opened it and it helps him with coordination.
Jordan skates back to the counter to pick up a cake to bring to table 3 but Brady stops him. "It's time for your shift to end."
"Is it really that late already?"
"Believe it or not. Clocks right there."
"Thanks for stopping me. You know I would have gotten so carried away if you hadn't said anything."
"Hey what can I say?"
"That's what best friends are for."
Jordan went to the staff room and quickly changed out of his work uniform and into his regular clothes. He grabbed his backpack from his locker and went back out.
"You seem in a rush." Brady stops him before he leaves.
"It's almost Lydia's birthday. We are going to plan a surprise party for her tonight while she spends the night at a friends."
"Sounds fun."
"Would you like an invite?" Jordan laughs at the idea of having his best friend at his little sister's birthday.
"I wouldn't be the person to invite myself but if I were invited I'd definitely show up."
"Oh my. You're crazy!" Jordan shakes his head at Brady as he walks out the door.
