Chapter 2: Birth!
Start!
It the land of Pages, the whole Dick clan was waiting for the birth of a child. It was an anticipated event for the ages. Never had been that 2 S-tier sorcerer existed in one generation. And to compound the luck, they are male and female. So the clan had them married obviously for the hope of birthing an even more powerful sorcerer.
And today is the most awaited day. Arsenius Dick, the father is anxiously waiting for the birth of his child. Though he is one of the two most powerful among all the sorcerer, his power alone cannot determine the gender of his child. The other one of the two most powerful sorcerer, Butterfly Dick, his wife, also cannot determine the gender of their child. They are the most powerful in the land and they both had experienced failure for the first time in their life. Unable to determine the gender of their child.
And it only means one thing, a super powerful child is about to be born!

The darkest dawn slowly turned into a sunrise, it was such a beautiful sight. A beautiful baby was born. The whole clan celebrated in welcoming another powerful addition to them. Even the hardened clan leader who had never shown any emotions before is openly crying right now.
"I can't believe that I will be so lucky in my lifetime, not only was the existence of two S-rank sorcerers but the birth of some who can be beyond that. A truly heaven defying existence has been born today!" the Clan leader was crying his heart out.
"Oh, such a beautiful baby!"
"His eyes are already open! Such a clear and beautiful eyes! I feel like it can see into the deepest of my soul!"
"Oh he smiled! My heart feels like melting! Oh I can't stop myself. I felt like crying in extreme joy right now! Never had I ever felt like this!"
"Such a beautiful hair! I wish mine was flowing like that! Such an awesome dark color and so thick! A glorious crown of greatness! Now I am just balding, I can't believe a day will come that I will envy a baby on the day he is born, but today has come."
The Dick Clansmen were shouting with joy, celebrating the birth of a legend!

However, the parents of the baby was deeply worried. They are extremely powerful and they could easily see into the inside of a body. But as they scan their child, they grow more worried about it.
"Are you seeing what I am seeing my dear wife?" Arsenius asked his wife who also had a worried face. Even more worried than him.
"How could it be my dear husband? Why am I seeing nothing inside him?" the wife replied with a tone of worry.
"So it is not only me who is seeing it?"
"What if we are just wrong?"
"How could we be wrong? Has it ever happened that the two of us was wrong at the same time? We are rivals before, and we disagree on lot of things, more of it was you wrong most of the time but your ego keep you thinking that you are right, you'll never accept correction especially from me, I am the better between the two of us" Butterfly said to he husband.
Arsenius face became crumpled. So he retorted.
"How can I be wrong, don't you see it? I am the better of us two, I am more sensitive about spells and mana. I am even the first one to master the tier 9 spell. And it is me who help you create the tier 10 spell, which I without doubt, that my help is 51% of the reason why you have succeeded in that part! It should be me!"
"Wow! You are just claiming to be a help, it even come from your own words and you are claiming to be the majority of credits for success? How could I only be 49% huh?"
"No dear, you had it wrong!" Arsenius defended himself to his wife.
"Ow, you are seeing me as the one wrong here?" Butterfly leaped to her feet even though she had just given birth. Her face flushed red.
"No dear, you don't understand what I was trying to say. You misunderstood me!" Arsenius was trying to calm his wife's temper at the same time explain himself to get out of the tricky situation he is in right now.
But the face of his wife flushed even redder with anger. Butterfly Dick was raging!
"So you are trying to say that I am an idiot?"
Arsenius paused himself. When did she ever come up with that?
"No, dear, I didn't say that. I just said you don't understand it!"
"How the fuck I don't understand any of the words you say you dumbass! You are behaving as if your words are as deep and as profound as the Dark Glass Curse! Huh! Ashahara no Shandivo…"
Arsenius Dick was startled, why is my wife uttering the start of curse's chant? This is going to be bad! I must stop her!
So Arsenius too started chanting, it is an even more powerful curse than what his wife is chanting!
"Hada hada hoh! Havide merr do kata!"
Meanwhile, the whole clan was witnessing what is happening and they are silent as they are also pale with fear. They were only discussing about something wrong with their child and the fuck did it turn into contest of curses?
They were bitter rivals back then and the whole clan was thinking they already have ended their quarrels after they were married. How did the birth of their child ignited an even bitter conflict between them!
And for Holy Supreme Lord Wizard's sake, why are they having a cursing duel with their newborn child between them!

The two supreme S-rank sorcerers was already on the end part of the incantation of their curses. Running was not an option right here. Why? Those two curses are tier 10, not only they are insanely destructive but also a large area-of-effect. Not just on the island they are on will the curse be effective but the whole planet. And it was two level-S sorcerer, it might even put the whole solar system under their curse!
Was the world really going to end with the quarrel of husband and wife?!

Butterfly Dick was casting an even more effective spell at her husband right now. It is called Extreme Bulging Eye Stare, it had never failed to win over her husband before. Just a second of that move instantly defeats her husband before, but it is not achieving its effect as of the moment.
Arsenius was even more ecstatic right now, he had finally found the most effective counter to the spell that defeated him countless of times even more. It is called Pretend-Not-To-Notice-Your-Wife-So-You-Don't-Have-To-Look-At-Her move! It is nullifying the effect of her spell. A tear of joy escaped from his eyes as he finally will not suffer the move that tormented him, mind,body, soul for a long time!
However Butterfly even chanted a little bit faster in her curse. Everyone was turning deathly pale! They are all sweating buckets, they have seen a husband and wife quarrel before but not as intense as these two right now!
How can fate be so cruel, the Dick clan was blessed with the existence of two talented S-tier sorcerers but now it is also going to exterminate the clan without leaving a trace.
Arsenius was just going to stop her wife in her non-sense reasoning so he chanted the powerful curse to stop her but who knows that he was married to a dumb idiot who cannot even identify he is casting a far more powerful tier 10 curse?!
Butterfly was even going more irrational right now, she can't believe the one she was married to was a dumb-ass, how could he imply with his words that she doesn't understand about him? Hmmp! Damn him!
Arsenius can see the fire in his wife's eyes. He know a little bit later, she won't be stopped. So he lowered his pride first.
"I love you dear!", this chant never failed him before.
However Mrs. Butterfly Dick was not even in the slightest affected. Instead she started cursing faster.
The heaven above was already pitch dark, the fabric of space was getting torn. Lightning and thunder was raging. The wind was blowing so hard it is forming vortex of tornado. Butterfly was on the last word and after that is complete obliteration of the world.

Meteors was getting pulled into the planet as hostile beings was slowly discovering the existence of the planet Keyboard. They are preparing for an invasion after detecting a huge amount of energy coming from that place.
Arsenius was at the end of his wits. He is a great sorcerer but now he is put into an intense mental strain so he mumbled the bullshit he thought he would never say, even to his wife, much more to his rival of rank sorcerer.
"Okay, you are the better one compare to me. You are more powerful. You deserve a higher rank than me. " Arsenius just said it in whisper as he felt his heart breaking. This is the most painful day of his life, the one he admit defeat.
It might have been a soft whisper but Mrs. Butterfly Dick heard the word that instantly disappeared her raging anger. She had been waiting for it all her life, now it came on the most unexpected day. She was filled with joy.
The runes in her hand and magical symbols instantly evaporated. The chains in the air was lost and the raging wind was turned into a sweet breeze. The thick, dark clouds that covered the sun dissolved into nothingness and the sky was filled with bright sunshine again.
"Did you mean it my dear Husband?"
A silence as Mr. Arsenius Dick was feeling the heartbreak. He could not admit defeat twice so he just kept himself silent. He have already said it, now it is impossible to make him say it again.
So Mrs. Dick instead went to her husband and gave him a big kiss on the cheek. It still didn't respond to her but she was fine with it. She too had a big ego, might even be bigger than her husband and she can't stand of having to admit defeat to her worst rival, even if it was her own husband.
{Hooo! You fucking dear author, you almost killed me! *breaths a deep relief!* }

The whole Dick Clan was terrified, they were still shaking, some even was still on the ground. Their heart pounding like a giant hammer in their chest. It was the closest one they had ever experienced a near-death.
What have they seen in their own newborn child?
And as if the two S-tier rank sorcerer who happen to be the parent at the same time remembered about their child.
They both exclaimed at the same time.
"He don't have a magical core!"
"He is just a normal baby!"
And instantly, the atmosphere turned darker than what was before as all hopes and dreams was dashed like an egg crashing into a hard rock of reality.
