Chapter 16: Dusty Bowl
Next Day:
Alan and Group were standing near the gate of Galar Academy, from there they were going to go dusty bowl by bus, there were around 70 Students from Kanto Academy and 30 from Galara Academy with 20 Staff Members of Both Academies.
"So today we are going to visit Dusty Bowl, though that area isn't as hazardous as some locations in Galar, but still a wild pokemon can be dangerous anytime. Many researchers conduct researches there in that area so some wild pokemons are friendly and allow trainers to catch some of their own kind, but a trainer need to show their powers against that pokemon. Also even after that you will need to befriend the newly captured one which isn't a hard task as you get to capture that pokemon after fair battle win." Said Professor Sonia.
"Yes and as professor said, this will be trip for you all to get some new pokemon in your team as well, that area mainly contains Steel, Rock and Ground types but there are some rare sighting of other type as well. So for this trip we wil divide you all in 10 Groups, each group will contain 7 Students from Kanto Academy, 3 Students from Galar Academy and 1-1 staff from each academy so total will be 12 person in one group." Said Professor Gary.
"Yes and we already divided the teams yesterday night." Said Professor Red announced team, Ethan and Noah were in same team with Professor Sonia (Galar) and Professor Stern (From Kanto), Lucy and William were in same team with Professor Leo (Galar) and Professor Red (Kanto) whereas Alan was in team with Cilan which was leaded by Professor Gary (Kanto) and Professor Magna (Galar).
They all boarded in Bus and Cilan sat with Alan and Professor Gary Oak was sitting beside Professor Sonia on seat infront of them.
"So are you ready to get one Galarian Steel type in Team ?" Asked Cilan.
"Maybe I will try on Stunfisk as well with Cufant." Said Alan.
"Cufant is a great pokemon and when it evolves into Copperajah, it becomes more fearsome pokemon. You can capture it easily as the leader of that tribe is very friendly with Students." Said Professor Sonia.
"That will be great then. I will first try to capture one Cufant and later see about Stunfisk." Said Alan.
"Yes that will be a great Idea, for Stunfisk, your Professor Magna will help alot as she do researches in Dusty Bowl." Said Professor Sonia.
Alan was glad to hear all this as he was going to get 3 Steel types for sure (Cufant, Stunfisk and Rookidee) and for last one he planned (Duraludon) he can see later.
They reached dusty bowl in 3 hours and Alan saw that the area was filled with Sand and he could see small sandstorm around area.
"Students, we will be travelling in area around 3 Kms, as only that much area is good for you all as of now, because after 3 Km area, there are big sandstorms and pokemons around that area aren't friendly, they can kill you for their food." Said Professor Sonia giving map to each group for Dusty Bowl.
Everyone nodded in acceptance of the condition and grouped as per the team announced in morning, "Group, we will be first going to area ruled by Copperajah Tribe, students who want to add a cufant in their team can try their luck." Said Professor Gary who smiled at Alan and Alan replied back with a smile.
After walking for 30 Minutes they reached an area with Grass and a Lake which was slight silver in color. "This Lake is polluted with Iron but it is good for Steel Types around here so Galar League kept it as it is." Said Professor Magna.
"There, we will first take permission from the leader of the tribe." Said Professor Gary pointing at a huge Copperajah which was around 3 times the size they studied in the books provided by Professor Sonia.
"That pokemon is very big." Said Cilan with surprise.
"And Powerful as well, he can kill you in a second if you try to capture any pokemon here without his permission." Said Professor Magna.
"Yes, and as per rule you will have to defeat the pokemon you want to capture on 1-1 fight, I must warn you that a cufant here isn't weak, they are very powerful compare to cyfants on other areas. That's why weak trainer stay away from this area and don't try to capture any cufant from here as they cannot defeat them on 1-1 fight easily." Said Professor Gary.
Professor Gary walked towards the leader of tribe and after talking for a while he told group to choose pokemon they want to Capture and Challange that pokemon, if challenge accepted then they can battle and capture if they defeat that pokemon.
Alan started looking for the Cufant he will like to add in his team to strengthen his team.
