Chapter 14: Mysterious Hunter
3RD Person
Jedi Padawan Axle Tinguard leads a small Republic fleet on his Flagship, The Predator. Their mission is to capture a moon in the Ruusan system which holds a Separatist forward command post responsible for communicating with enemy fleets. If the Republic manages to capture this base, the Separatist fleets will be pushed on the defensive.
The Republic fleet is in an engagement with the moon's defense blockade. "Commander, the droids are not retreating. We outnumber them, but they have a better position which makes it harder to break through." Captain Chase reported. Axle folded his arms, "The council is trusting me to run this operation and I'm not going to let them down. Prepare the bombers. Order the other cruisers to spread out making it difficult for the droids to fend off all their sides." "Yes sir." Chase responded as Axle rushed off towards the hanger.
Axle got to the hangar, "R3 get the ship ready." *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* R3 responded. The Jedi Commander walked over to his bomber squad, "Alright boys, our primary target is the command ship's bridge. The V-wings will engage any enemy fighters while the ARC-170s will give the heavies cover. Any questions?" "NO SIR!!!" the pilots answered. "Alright let's move." Axle ordered. He boarded his Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor and exited the hangar with the squadrons.
Droid starfighters flew in to attack. "Blaster, you wanted target practice. Why don't you go say hello?" Axle ordered. The clone lieutenant laughed, "Copy that Commander." as his squad cleared the way for the bombers. Axle took point as they slammed into the Separatists. "BOMBER TWO WATCH YOU LEFT!!! BOMBER SIX UP TOP!!!" The COMM channel was lighting up. The Republic cruisers managed to take the edge off their fighters as the CIS capital ships continued to lose their shields.
After a while, a path was clear for the bombers to take out the bridge. "All bombers on me." the young Padawan ordered as all Y-wings lined up. They got close to the enemy flagship, "TORPEDOES AWAY!!!" he said as the Y-wings launched their projectiles and they destroyed the ship's bridge. "Predator, ahead full. Broadside the rest of those clankas." Axle mocked. "With pleasure sir." Chase responded. The Republic fleet engaged the remaining droid ships at point blank range. The Separatist dreadnought exploded in flames as the clones cheered. "Everyone back to the Predator. We still need to take the base." Axle reminds them as they head back to their flagship.

The moon's orbital defenses have fallen and all communications from the CIS have been cut. The only threat now was the forward droid base. Axle was in the hangar with his attack forces, "We've taken the space around the moon, but we need to take the moon itself. Bombers will fly ahead of the gunships and destroy any anti-starfighter cannons. The ARC-170s will escort the gunships down to the landing zone around 80 yards from the base. That way we won't have to take a long walk while the base's missile turrets may still be active. Everyone know the plan?" The clones responded and got into the gunships as they descended down onto the surface.
As planned, the Y-wings flew ahead of the attack force and bombarded the defenses. All cannons were destroyed before they could get into range. The gunships landed and the men ran toward the base blasting any droid they see. "CHASE, TAKE OUT THAT COMMAND DROID BEFORE THEY CALL IN REINFORCEMENTS!!!" Axle ordered as a tactical droid was typing on a consol. Chase based his head off and the clanka fell.

A Super Tactical droid was watching through the security cameras as his forces were being cut down. He noticed the green bladed Jedi and turned to a dark corner, "Take care of him." A figure walked out of the control room.
Axle was slicing up the rest of the droids outside, when a door opened with more droid forces. The clones rushed to engage, but Axle looked up. A dark hooded figure was standing on the roof of a building. It jumped down and walked toward the young Jedi. Axle ran toward him. The figure dodged the strike without moving his feet. Axle understood he had to play this smart. He decided to take a more defensive approach and waited for the figure to make a move. Axle assumed it was a bounty hunter as he didn't recognize him. The bounty hunter then pulled out what looked like a large vibro blade. He then attacked. Axle just made a fool out of the hunter as he continued to make mediocre attacks.
After a brief moment of fighting, the hunter then got into a blade lock with the Padawan. The vibro blade was barely able to withstand the saber as most vibro weapons can be destroyed by a lightsaber if pushed hard enough. The hunter then shot a wave of electricity out from his gauntlet. The electric wave quickly traveled to Axle's body. He dropped his sabers and fell back. He then fell unconscious from the extreme energy.

Captain Chase and his men burst through the control room doors and blasted all the droids including the Super Tactical droid. He then proceeded to contact Axle, "Commander, the control room has been secured." Silence filled the COMMs. There was no sign of him on the security cameras. Chase repeated again, "Commander are you there? Commander Tinguard? Axle?" but no answer.
