Chapter 14: Altercation 14 a new monster, its history, that ending XP
As the Gorgon spider was busy with learning more about itself and torturing the life out of the growing numbers of pursuers, Joseph was thinking about what will be the next monster to create while looking at the jar full of worms.
It was something that he collected before leaving the cave.
But something was charging towards them, from the sky, the speed it traveled at made the being seem like it was teleporting due to the afterimage that followed its frame.
It was a humanoid insect, and it had a very LONG history with humans and magicians.
This insectoid was one of the escaped experiments, and its current level of strength was above that of an elder treant.
It released a guttural growl before saying a single word that caused any who heard this voice to shiver in fear.
"H̶̤̒u̸̲̒m̸͉̽a̷͉͗n̸͓̉!"
Morgana froze for about a second before struggling to protect Joseph, who also got rendered unable to move!
But the centuries' worth of hatred that filled that disturbing voice continued.

The sound attack allowed a single opening before a chitin-covered hand grabbed hold of Joseph's face then flew away!
If it weren't for the ring of breathing, this attack would've ripped his head clean off!
That was the intention of the aggressive insectoid, but seeing how the human managed to survive this attempt, it decided to take him back to its nest to enjoy giving the human a slow and painful death.
Just like it had under humans and magicians!

It was a queen of a fire ant's nest before it got taken away for an experiment to help the magician 'farm' their own materials, but at this time, it lacked the sentience to understand its current situation, so went about its life completely ignorant to the pain it will be subjected to soon.
The facility it got placed in gave it a clear view of the hundreds of other creatures collected for the same reason.
Hundreds of monsters were slaughtered each day while forcing the survivors to regrow the numbers that had been expended.
But it was forced to live through a different experiment.
The QFA, aka queen fire ant, was one of the few regular insects and animals captured to see if it was possible to create a different monster and collect usable 'materials' from its body.
At first it, no, she was happy due to the rich and invigorating meals that were given to her.
QFA was fed a variety of monster flesh that was rich in magic. While it took a few years, the effects were worth the cost the magicians had incurred.
The experiment had not only extended her lifespan but also changed her body.
While she still had the same looks as when they brought her here, QFA had increased in size by nearly five times, and her mental capacity had increased as well...
But that was when the nightmare had begun.
Due to her changes, QFA now had a stronger body and higher vitality, using hexes and restricting magic, the magicians proceeded with their in-depth experiments to see how much of her body could be used or changed.
They started small the first few years since she was one of the few surviving test subjects that didn't explode from eating monster corpses.
But once they were aware of how strong her vitality was and her new regenerative abilities...
...That was when they started taking more out of her, from small portions of her brain matter to collecting chunks of her major organs.
Throughout the years, They also proceeded with 'remodeling' her body to be capable of holding spare parts as the QFA had become essential for the medical field to help support their injured and currently dying daughter of the leader.
The leader wanted to 'transfer' his daughter's mind into the QFA's body, but due to her growth, not only did her physique grow to an incredible level but her intelligence as well.
She learned their language, learned a bit of magic, and why they did all of those horrible things to her.
The answer was simple.
The QFA was weak. Without wits or strength, anyone could end up where she was.
But why did she have to go through all of this?
What gave them the right to do this to her and her children?
Again the answer was simple.
She was weak while they were strong!
These were only part of the questions that she asked herself.
All while she was thinking back on how her life was before this.
Even beasts and monsters only attacked others, but it was never to inflict pain or use them as something to harvest from CONSTANTLY.
They killed to eat or protect their kin.
Only on rare occasions would they kill for revenge.
What she had to endure decades on end was not right.
That was against the natural world that the QFA understood on her own.
Thus despite its newfound aggression to these people, QFA held all of it back just as she did upon learning their language, keeping control over her impulses allowed the QFA a decent amount of freedom and more resources to use as her children burrowed into the ground while waiting for the perfect moment to strike!
The main targets of their actions were the foundations of the structure. as long as there was a single gap, it was possible for them to corrode anything.
That said moment came when they reached the day before the attempt to surrender QFA's body to the daughter of the facility's leader.
that was when they struck, the weak-bodied magicians were unable to defend themselves from this, especially when ALL of the captured inhabitants proceeded with attacking their captors, from the constant experiments and sufferings they had gone through...
...Most magic was useless against them, this led to a massacre as the main culprits of this made their escape.
As did a few others that had the same amount of intelligence as the QFA.
But remember thanks to what they had been preparing the QFA's body for a relentless hunt began as a bounty was also placed on her head.
With promises of riches and freedom, Humans joined the fray, this went on for several centuries and the QFA had all but lost her children from these attacks, she even received a curse that prevented her from making more children.
This only made her hatred for magicians and humans grow to an incredible level.

With that in mind, the QFA flapped her wings harder to reach her hideout sooner but the man that she held had other ideas since all of her information was available to him...
While it was weird that it became possible for him to do this unlike with the treant, Joseph didn't bother to think about it and focused on what was possible.
We all know what that means right?
What better than to change a few important things using the worms that were still in the container?
But there was one problem, in his haste of trying to stay alive, he added a simple line after a part in her history that mentioned her blood boiling hatred for magicians and humans.
This was what Joseph added.
"But was madly in love with Joseph Duncan, that she was now carrying to her nest."
Sure that was very cringey but he was desperate to live and in the face of danger that was the only thing that the man could think of.
Not even a second after he added that and was trying to change it, QFA had thrown him to the ground onto his back, mounted him then grabbed hold of his head with both of her hands before giving him a long stern look.
With how strong her grip was getting, this made Joseph assume that his ability might not have-
While he was preparing to defend himself with Laige, the QFA gave him a kiss as her tongue quickly entered his mouth fully exploring the inside before some kind of fluid traveled down his throat, then the sound of something ripping while a tug was felt at his lower body.
Their lips separated as QFA gasped, while Joseph was confused as hell, his mind was spinning from that liquid she had made him drink.
"I don't know why, but since you are making me feel this way, I'll need you to stay still lest I kill you by accident okay?"
She said something but whatever he was forced to drink made him incapable of doing anything else.
QFA giggled while adding.
"Good, now let's both enjoy this, as I have been curious about this ever since those two magicians did this during my captivity."
...For those that haven't realized it yet, QFA decided to rape him due to the effects of the changes Joseph had given her~.
