Chapter 7: CHAPTER 7
[A/N: I'm not really satisfied, I know that Rias is quite troubled about herself and all, but I think this doesn't look much like her... I don't know, Issei himself took like, his whole life to actually ask Rias out, and she was after all, more or less after someone that didn't know her background. ALSO: PREPARE FOR SOME CRINGE THINGS... I'm sorry but I really like poems... sigh...]
Rias looked at him with wide eyes, as if something snapped in her head, for a moment she couldn't react, the shock she felt was completely unexpected, after all, she did not play with him, nor did she actively tried to bring him to her side... The turmoil inside her head settled down after some time.
"You... are you serious?"
Hearing her words, Tetsuya didn't know what to say, why did it sound like she was asking him if he killed someone?
"I... uh... Yes, I'm serious!"
Rias slightly lowered her head, she thought about her family for a moment, and the fate that awaited her in the future, but those things were still far away, maybe... maybe she could try just once... to know what it means to chose by herself what she wanted.
She gave him a sweet smile, her cheeks red, it was different from how she acted with Issei, all seductive and kind of desperate, she was genuinely happy, as if he had somehow given her a gift that she had been waiting for her whole life. 'This Tetsuya is quite cute...'
Tetsuya, however, was unaware of this, he got completely mesmerized by that smile, a kind of smile he never saw in the anime.
"Very well, we will go out on a date then."
After discussing the hour and where they would meet, she waved at him and left.
Sighing he looked at his hands and clenched his fists... 'I almost fucked up! Damn it!' Tetsuya might be shy but he learned enough to know what he was doing wrong, but he just couldn't help himself, it was easy to say that he needs to be braver, and have more determination, but to do it is actually something else, no one can overcome their weakness just by knowing it, he would have to work out this issue sooner or later before it bites him in the ass...
After going back home, and telling his parents about his date, his father became so excited that he gave him one of his credit cards linked to an account with a thousand bucks and said that he could spend in any way he wanted, although he said that it would be good to make a budget since Tetsuya would be staying alone for a week, the money might come in hand to buy food when he needs it.
His mother kept shouting that he was not allowed to make out with her, that she wouldn't take care of a grandson if he still didn't graduate when it happens, besides a few other things.
That night he stayed awake till midnight as he created his perfect date plan. In the end, he didn't know how good his planning was, but he would know soon enough.

The next day, he met with Rias in the park one block away from the school, to make sure of not letting her waiting, he arrived one hour sooner than they agreed.
Today he was using his newest and best clothes, he went as far as taking three showers and even brushed his teeth 8 times just to make sure.
He wanted to have a good day with her so he did everything he could to make sure that nothing would ruin this date.
When Rias arrived he could barely contain his excitement and a smile naturally blossomed on his face, the clothes she used to wear were very natural, in a sense the colors, the size, the style, everything gave her a different vibe. If when wearing the school uniform she was hot, with her current dress she was elegant, delicate, and gorgeous.
She spun in front of him, showing her beautiful light green and yellow dress, decorated with patterns that crossed each other forming flowers.
"What do you think?" She asked with a smile on her face, she put her hands on her back and lowered her chest lightly as she looked at him.
Her actions, quite obviously allowed him to have a better view of her ample chest, it made him blush slightly, but he was determined to not let her appearance completely dominate him, so in two or so seconds, he managed to reply, but he decided to speak one poem he really liked in his previous life.
"When the last rays of sunlight start to die scarlet flames burn the sky, as clouds ignite. And while the birds roost, bats begin to fly hunting down elusive moths in mid-flight. Luna hangs high in an ebony sky spinning dreams into beams of golden light. And twinkling stars, like fireflies in the night confetti the heavens, dazzling the eye. Like gold filigree pinned to the darkness swirling galaxies adorn the skies above as shooting stars unzip the black of space. Yet, Man stands unabashed in His starkness, for cosmic beauty can't compete with this feast meant only for my eyes." [Poem by Emile Pinet, Beauty can't compete. The last few words are my own modification to better fit the situation]
"This..." Rias looked at him, somehow she could picture herself in the poem he told her, she couldn't help but wonder if he had been preparing for this moment for some time already, nevertheless it was the first time someone told her a poem to praise her, and she truly liked it.
She smiled and took his hand. "So where are we going?"
