Chapter 11: Family
Emily run toward her brother. She put her hand on his brother's forehead. She can feel the hotness coming from his brother. She quite worried when her was so hot.
"Is this your brother Emily?" James walk toward them and ask Emily.
"Yes he is my brother. His name is Lucas." Emily look at James and answered his question.
"Hmmm, let's take Lucas to hospital. His condition will become more worse." James checked Lucas' condition. His body was really hot. This is sign of high fever.
"But, we don't have money. We can't afford it." Emily said why looking at her brother. James can see that Emily really want to take her brother to a hospital but she also know that she and her brother cannot afford the fees.
"Don't worry, I will pay. Let's go." James then give the food to Emily and lift up Lucas. He then brought them to nearest hospital. He ask for first class ward for Lucas. Lucas was still sleeping when he look at his watch. I already 10 p.m. so he want to go back. He saw Emily slept while sit down on the chair beside her brother.
He then lift up Emily and put her on a couch. He then called nurse and ask for a blanket. He put on the blanket on Emily. He then exit the room and leave the hospital.

The next day,
As he planned, he bought the tonics and drank all of them one by one.
"Strength has been raised by 4 points"

After looking at his status, he nodded. He quite satisfied with the result drinking the tonic today. It is better than yesterday. Well maybe luck is on his side today. He prepared to leave his home. Usually he will go to his office right now, however he got another plan today.
He planned to buy a new house and car form himself. He already become rich guy so he should do something for himself.

After 4 hours since he left his house, he finished his plan for today. He already went to a real estate company and car store. He bough a new mansion for 40 million dollars a sport car for 10 million dollars. For his new mansion, the real estate company offered to help him to hire staffs.
He paid them another 10 million to decorate the mansion as the budget and 1 million dollars as fee. He splurge his money for a total 60 million which he never thought of when he still struggling on Earth before. He left only about 40 million dollars in his account. He then went to a restaurant and pack 3 set of food. He went to hospital after that to check Emily and his brother, Lucas.

At the hospital in the first class ward, Lucas finally open his eyes. His body already cool down. Not so hot anymore. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was his sister was watching television. She looked so happy.
Then he remembered suddenly, he supposed to be at the back alley. When he look at his surrounding and his bed, he know that he was at ward but this was not a general ward. He then called his sister.
"Emily, why are we at hospital? Did you brought me to this hospital?" Lucas ask his sister with gentle. He really love his sister who was younger than him by 6 years old. He lost his parents when he was 14 years old. Emily was his only family he left with. Last month, he and his sister were driven out from their house. For a month they were sleeping at the back alley.
"Oh, brother! You wake up finally. Your body were very hot last night." Emily turned around and saw he brother already wake up. She get down from the couch and ran to her brother.
"You must be very hungry brother. You didn't eat anything since last night. Here your breakfast. I already ate mine. This is yours." Emily try reached out food tray on the patient table using her tiny hound and to gave it to his brother.
"Wait Emily, how can you brought me here?" Lucas hold his sister.
Ah, last night there is a nice person treat me a dinner. Then he want to meet you so I brought him to you. But your body was so hot. He then take you to hospital. His name is James. He is very kind guy." Emily spoke with a wide smile in her face. Lucas can see her eyes were shone brightly when she talk about the guy.
Then the door's room was opened by someone. A guy came in. The guy was James.
"Ah, he is the kind guy brother." She then ran to James and look at him.
"Hi Emily, how are you doing?" James smile and lift up Emily.
"Hi Mr. James. I'm doing good. Look! My brother already woken up. His body isn't hot anymore."
"Oh, Hi Lucas. I am James." James already noticed that Lucas already woken up when he entered the ward.
"Hi Mr. James. Thank you for your help. But I don't have money to pay you back." Lucas said hesitantly. He actually afraid that James have ulterior motive toward them, But when he think again, they have nothing at all so James should no have ulterior motive.
"Don't worry, you don't need to pay anything to me." James answered.
"But Mr. James, fees for this kind of room must be expensive." Lucas doesn't want to owe James.
"Hahaha, like I said don't worry. For current me, money is not a problem anymore. But I have proposal to you and Emily. Be my family. You and Emily, I will adopt both of you as my younger brother and sister. How about it?" James have been thinking about it last night. Even though he just met Emily last night but there is kind of affection to that little girl. Maybe he just longing for family.
On earth, he was alone when his parents died. When he saw Emily and Lucas, he remembered his childhood memories.
"But Mr. James, we just met. Are you sure want to accept us to your family?" Lucas want to refuse but when he saw the happiness on Emili's face he became hesitated. He know that Emily have suffered a lot including himself. Deep inside his heart, he want to accept because this maybe his last chance to get out from poverty,
"Yes, be my family. I am also an orphan. I am alone in this world. Do you want to be my family Lucas?" James asked again.
Lucas become hesitated again but then he look at his sister. He closed his eyes and then his hesitation disappeared . He look at James.
"Yes, please accept me and Emily."
