Chapter 2: Chapter 2: God's Game

Arding was finally aware that this is all true when something was happening in front of him. A ball of light suddenly materialized itself 5 meters in front of him, startling him and making him jump backwards and put his hand on the handle of his katana.

"Don't be afraid of me, tester. I'm here to explain to you what really happened to the inhabitants of Earth-Milceu. But first, I welcome you to God's Game. Where gods and goddesses entertain themselves by watching you," the ball of light said to Arding telepathically, confusing Arding even more.

" I am Weisp, i am one but also many. You can ask me any questions you want to be answered. I will answer it all to the best of my abilities. "

After calming himself, Arding contemplated for a few minutes on what questions will he ask Weisp. Arding started his interrogation," Where am i? "

" You're in a planet called Sgodameg, created by the cooperation of many gods and goddesses. It took them only 100 years to create this planet so in your planet's terms, this is only the beta testing. This planet still needs improvements."

"How do you beings know about my planet?"

"My masters has the power to observe everything. They know everything and they can do everything."

Arding was not satisfied by the answer but he continued to ask questions. "How can my body adapt on this new planet's atmosphere?"

"I forgot to tell you but you first need to pick a race you want. Your body is only be able to support you for 30 minutes. Pick a race first and after you're done, we'll be continuing this conversation," Weisp said as it gave Arding a transparent menu like in isekai anime. Arding was shocked that even the menu was the same as on his country's anime menu. Arding collected his thoughts and he chose demon as his race after thinking that it suited him.

" A demon, good choice. Demons have powerful constitution and excellent regeneration. They are also handsome and they can adapt in any environment. Demons are famous for being ruthless and cold. Do you really want to be a demon? You can't change your race again if you said yes," Weisp said as it looked(?) towards Arding.

" I'm pretty sure i want to be a demon. "

" Okay, close your eyes until i say that you can open them. I'll be making changes on your body and dna. Or you can accept my sleeping magic to not feel pain when I change your body. What do you choose?"

"I'm gonna endure it, start now."

Weisp started chanting incomprehensible words as it made Arding's body glow. The first change is Arding's dna. Arding not knowing what is happening right now can feel that his insides are being destroyed and replaced by a new and improved organs. His blood started turning purple instead of red. His wavy hair of black turned to long straight hair of white. His brown eyes changed into purple eyes. His average looking face is now handsome and has a charming aura around it. His previously muscular and fit body is now skinny and fit but it's much more stronger than before. His height also increased, his previous 5'6 height increased to 6'2. His tanned skin was now replaced with fair skin.

Weisp suddenly interrupted Arding, "You have the freedom to choose what class or job you want but I definitely recommend you to choose a job that suits your body. What do you want to be?

Arding answered through gritted teeth,"I want to be a swordsman."

Weisp nodded(?) and it started turning Arding's left arm into an arm like that of a draconian but with black dragon scales, further enhancing its defense and strength. Arding's transformation is almost done as the wings and horns are the remaining to be given to him.

"I'm gonna seal your wings right now and you can only use it if you achieve your 3rd promotion of your class. How many horns do you want? You can have a maximum of six."

"Four," Arding answered as he crashed his knees into the ground when four horns was growing on his head. Two horns was near his forehead while the other two is on the sides of his head near his ears. His demon wings was now finished growing but it unfurled because Arding cannot use it right now. He need to reach the 3rd promotion of the swordsman class to use it as mentioned above. As Arding's transformation is nearing its end, the same situation was also happening all over the planet of Sgodameg. Some humans chose elf, some chose orcs, some chose humanoid, some chose demons also, and some also chose to be human again.

"You can now open your eyes. Congratulations! You are now a demon! Are you satisfied at your transformation?" Weisp asked as he materialized a tall mirror for Arding to use.

Arding scanned his whole body in the mirror and it surprised him. Arding is also surprised at his newfound power. He grabbed a rock from the ground and used his grip to crush it. And voila! The rock was now powdered due to the immense grip strength of Arding.

"You have to also change your name to be a proper demon. Tell me your name and I will give you the blessing of the God of Demons, Defiru," Weisp said as he chanted the summoning incantation of Defiru. Purple aura started enveloping Weisp.

"My name is Arding Nocero," Arding said embarrassingly.

"You have an unusual name for a human being. But fret not, your name will now be blessed with the Demon God's power. Arding Nocero, I give you the name of Ardiel, may you slaughter all your enemies and bathe in their blood," Weisp chanted the second sentence demon tongue to give the Demon God's blessing to Ardiel.

Ardiel started glowing in purple light as he felt that his body was filled with power and bloodthirstiness. Ardiel then suddenly remembered that his clothes from before was ripped to shreds when he underwent transformation. He quickly asked Weisp to give him some clothes to cover his body. Ardiel was surprised at his new junior but he quickly put it back on his mind when he remembered that there are some exploring to do.

"These are the garments of common demon citizen here. Find yourself an enemy if you want to have a better armor. Also, you can go back to your home planet when you reach a city with a portal in it. Anything else?" Weisp said as he finished materializing some shirt, pants and boots to give to Ardiel. Ardiel strangely thought that demons and humans wear the same thing, only the way of putting the shirt differs because of the demons' horns. Ardiel put on his new clothes with difficulty as he was still not accustomed to his new body any body parts.

" How can I be a proper swordsman? Do you also give us quests or stuff like in VRMMORPG games?" Ardiel asked Weisp.

"What are you saying you fool! You are responsible for finding information about that. For celestial beings, it is a game for them but for you, always remember that this the reality to you, not some playground to play house. If you die, your character will disappear but your soul won't. I will create a same body of the deceased for the soul to continue living on it. All your experiences, techniques, skills, and connections will disappear when you die. So try not to die when you are at high levels. Do you get what i mean?

"Alright Weisp, by the way, where's my katana?"

" That katana is trash here, it will be useless on fighting here so i made this for you to use," Weisp said as materialized a rusty long sword.

" Rusty but it's sharp, I'm sure it can kill! "Ardiel said as he observed the rusty longsword in his hands.

" I'm going to go now, good luck on your journey Ardiel. May Defiru's blessing help you! "Weisp said as he flickered out of existence, disappearing into nowhere.

'Okay then, let's start exploring.'

Ardiel started walking towards a random direction. He forgot to ask Weisp to give him a map of where he is but maybe Weisp will not give him a map even if he asked. Weisp will probably say, "Find it yourself."

1 hour later...

Ardiel is now out of the forest and instead in a desolate desert devoid of life. As he continued to walk, Ardiel found it suspicious why he is not hungry even though he already walked for almost 1 hour. He put the thought back on his mind and continued walking. Ardiel became high on alert and put his left hand on the rusty longsword hanging on his left waist.

Ardiel was still walking in the desert when he noticed a black silhouette in the distance. The silhouette still didn't notice Ardiel's presence and it kept walking like it doesn't care about it's surroundings. Ardiel contemplated for a moment if befriending the unknown person was good or killing him is.

Ardiel then decided and moved closer towards the silhouette.
