Chapter 2: Frost Zone “ Migo ”
My heart beat louder as she got closer to me, my mind wasn't ready for this life changing event, she raised her arm with my piece of paper in her palm and she said " Migo Bradley, you get an A+, congratulations you scored the best in the hall school".
All my sleepless nights finally payed off, trust me when I tell you it wasn't easy to get Marcus to help with my homework, but it was all worth the hustle. I couldn't wait to see the looks on Mom and Dad's faces, maybe then they can look at me the way they look at Itarogon.
The world was in my hands and I was ready for it all. Marcus was out on his rock climbing activity today and Itarogon was home with Mom and Dad. Mom being an archaeologist was always studying and dusting while my scientist Dad was usually held up in the house laboratory.
Three Months later
Hello my name is Migo and this is my share of the nightmare.
All I felt was joy...a rare creature to the world, but nothing more than a pest to us. Marcus pick up a weapon Itarogon invented specifically for firing out nets, he aimed at the Ratroach before softly exhaling and pulling the trigger.
The net rushed through the air and opened up ready to catch it, but the extraordinary mutant with lightning fast reflexes drilled into the ground, cause a perfectly useless shot. This was bad! with no idea were it was we blinding stumped around,
" Hey Marcus, do you think we should call him?", " NOT BY A LONG SHOT! this is gonna be my catch", Marcus said as it broke though the ground we stood on.
Marcus gripped it will both arms by the neck, with hope of pinning it down, but the AT was just too hyperactive, it struggled with him desperately trying to free it's self from his death grip. My body wasn't as large as his so I would just get in the way, an idea crossed my mind though. I grabbed the Net cannon, but without a net I had to think quick.
So I shoved a rock into it, before aiming for it's head...my brain silenced as my eyes zeroed onto the target.
I fired!
with a speeding rock to the head the Ratroach was knocked unconscious.
My heart was not on beat after that drama, I dropped to my knees to catch my breath. Little did I know that something was sited right behind me, I felt a powerful jet of air rush passed my shoulders. The AT then held my shoulders like a person, my fear was that, it would drag me to the basement and my elder brother wasn't going to fast enough to save me.
So I smiled at him and said bye.
BANG!
A cannon shot echoed though the room, I turned to see the captured AT in a black net and standing by the door way was the eldest Bradley. Itarogon!
