Caspian slept for only 50 minutes, even though the nurse said that he need to sleep more. He went back to the class and again, he is late but the nurse gave him a slip for him to give to his teacher.
"Oh, you better take care of your health."
Professor Xysto said, placing the slip on his pocket.
Caspian nodded," Of course Professor."
"Now go back to your seat, I need to discuss something with all of you."
Caspian went to his seat, Valerie is beside him who greeted him with a nod. Gwen is not in this class, which is a bummer for the two.
Yes, two. Valerie herself and Caspian.
"Professor are we gonna discuss about what happened 2 days ago?"
Someone asked, after that countless of student asked the Professor and if the teachers gonna explained that to them.
"Im not the one going to explained that, the Headmaster itself will probably held a meeting and that's where your questions will be answered."
Some students whined, they wanted the answers already but Professor ignored them.
"Now, a few days from now on. Glacial Expanse will be held earlier than the usual schedule." Professor said, his eyes staring at his students.
"Why Professor?"
"That is the only thing I can say right now, The Headmastet is the one who will explained all of those things. Right now, other teachers are also doing the same, Jacob what time is it?"
Jacob, who's the president of the class looked at his pocketwatch.
"Sir it's 9:30 Am."
"10 Am the bell will ring three times, indicating that a meeting will be held infront of the academy.I want everyone to go there so the questions what happened back there will be answered."
Caspian nodded, now what will the Headmaster will say anything about the incident.
Will she said that there's a mole inside the academy or will she hang Red infront of everybody, just kidding the students might run away.
He can't wait for the meeting later.
Professor only went to the class to announced that, he left after that and the students decided to behave theirself.
They are also excited and at the same time nervous, but their hearts are jumping u and down when Khairro came back.
The four faction look up to Khairro alot, he is their role model in the beginning. Now the topic of the school is most likely Khairro saving his brother from the evil guy, and Khairro's back!
"Are you gonna meet Gwen?" Valerie asked.
Caspian shook his head, " I wanna stay here for more. I'll meet you guys at the front."
Valerie left after that going to her beloved Gwen, it's only a few days since Gwen arrived but she already became attached to the female.
After Valerie left, Maxine and Stein went to his table and sat by him.
"It's good to see you Alive Caspian," Stein jokingly said, as if he's expecting that Caspian is drowning at the sea of attention knowing that Khairro is back.
"By the way you cut your hair Maxine?"
"Yeah, my long hair is bothering me alot."
Maxine touch her hair, not feeling the long hair of her.
"How are you this days Caspian? We saw you being hostage by that evil guy." Maxine is drawing again.
"Im doing fine, I just got back from the clinic."
"DID YOU GOT HURT AGAIN?!" Stein loudly asked, the students looked at him weirdly before apologizing at them.
"No, I was feeling unwell again."
"It's better to talk at the headmaster about your illness." Maxine susggested.
"I'll try if I have time to spare."
Suddenly the door opened, the females screamed filled the entire room. As if a celebrity came in.
"Dude, it's your brother." Stein said, looking at the opened door.
Caspian gulped seeing his brother smiling fondly at the students, holding a box on his hand.
"Damn, he's really hot." Maxine said, her eyes giving out hearts.
"Im way hotter than him." Stein grumbled, slightly glaring at Khairro.
"Are you guys seriously?" Caspian can't believed the two.
Khairro noticed Caspian and he waved at him, dashing through the crowds of people.
He stood behind the table while looking at Caspian warmly.
The siblimgs emit a light glow mostly the light is coming from the window and the students can't help but see them as a divine.
The two appearance is not a joke, how can you find someone so beautiful and handsome at the same time?!
"What are you doing here brother?" Caspian asked, staring at his brother.
"You left early right so you forgot to take the gift." Khairro place the box infront of him.
Caspian blinks a couple of times before answering.
"Thank you, you know I can go back and just grab it by myself."
"I insist giving it to you, I hope you love it. I have to go since I literally skip class just to get that gift." Khairro place his hand on top of Caspian pink hair and mess it.
Even though he mess it up again, Caspian hair never really brush neatly so he was fine.
"Thank you alot Brother,"
Khairro left and the students finally got to breath fresh air, they were holding their breath while watching the two from afar.
As always, the chatter and whisper started again mostly the topic are the Smythe brothers.
Maxine breath in and out as she calm her beating heart, Stein is actually quiet for a moment there.
Caspian opened the box, a neatly wrap journal with a fountain pen engraved with his name on a gold ink is the content of the gift his brother gave.
Caspian wondered why his brother gave him a journal, despite him not interest at writing, well the novel is an exception, he need to remember all the things that have happened in the novel.
"That's looking expensive." Maxine pointed out, Stein took a seat on his left side also staring at the journal.
"I don't get it why my brother decided to give me this, im not really interest in the first place."
"Maybe, you can use it in the future.You might never know." Stein shrug off, a ladybug flew to his fingers.
"Maybe." He place the gift on his spatial space and took the time to chat with the two.
"Caspian, what will you do when someone close to you betrayed you?" Maxine asked out of nowhere.
She was peacefully drawing and now she's starting a conversation.
"Why did you asked that?"
"Just answer it in your own opinion."
Caspian think for a second, someone close to him did betrayed him in the past but he never know who's the culprit but he guess that someone close to him poison him.
He did had a guess who did that to him because he knows that person knows alot of types of poison that can kill you instantly but he still did not have any hard evidence against that person.
"Well, of course I'll feel somehow angry and dissapointed and hurt. But somehow also confused, why did they do that to you?"
Caspian answered honestly, it's been a few weeks since he keep thinking that, actually he thought that everyday, and the moment he teleport here.
Why did that person did that to him? He never knew in the first start that person can betray him when he didn't even do anything to anger or hurt that person.
"Well, here's an advice for you Caspian."
Maxine expression turned serious, her eyes boring holes into Violet ones.
Caspian have an uneasy feeling about this, he never saw Maxine serious like this, even Stein is being really quiet.
He only played eith the ladybug sometimes humming a song.
Maxine leaned closer, her eyes darting everywhere as if she's looking for someone.
"It's time to end this Caspian, you are the only one who can know that person that can betray you in a second. They are really smart and can manipulate you anytime."
Maxine suddenly leaned back, she grab her things and got up, she looked at the confused pink haired male before smiling at him bitterly.
She left and went ahead, Caspian is really confused right now.
The people around him cna betray him, betray him for what?
Stein suddenly spoke, " The closer you are to them, the easy to kill you."
Stein left after that leaving the really scared and confused younger male. He gulped after that tense atmosphere between the three.
Why did Maxine say it like someone is really gonna betray him? If someone did, nothing will happen and the story will continue the way it is suppose to be.
After all, he is only a side character that help the protagonist kill the demon king.
But, the feeling of dying again is not what he really want. He wanted to stay a bit longer and be with Arthur.
