The crisp autumn leaves were scattered on him. The chilled evening breeze was like a blanket of comfort which proved that the area wasn't dead silent.
I placed the flowers and sat beside him to talk and narrate all the incidents he missed the past month. How Amber had become whinier and more sarcastic, how I learned to handle the house in his absence.
After about an hour, I checked my wristwatch and was shocked that time flew so fast.
Even though I had a hearty talk, of course without his laugh and funny remarks, I wanted to sit more but the sky was losing its colour and I wanted to be at home before sunset.
I got up and dusted off my jeans. I turned back once again to have a look at him and made my way out of the big iron gates of the cemetry.
Once outside of the cemetry, I knew hailing a cab would be really difficult and started to walk to the main road.
Even before I could reach the main road, a car came honking at the maximum speed possible and in a blink, I felt myself gagged. Before anything could register in my mind, I was sitting and heard doors being slammed.
After about one full minute I realised that I was in a car and my mouth was gagged and goddamn I was getting kidnapped. I used my free hands to remove the gag and the same moment a cloth was pressed on my nose and mouth and within minutes sleep overtook my senses.

"You got the wrong girl Gabriel!"
"It's not my fault! The girl you described matched her. What can I do if that girl didn't have blue eyes?"
"Now stop the blame game guys! Just think what are we gonna do with her! Are you seriously out of your mind? You brought her here to the mansion even when you knew we can't risk our address."
"Yup Katherine! I am sorry now!"
"You might be sorry but what about bro? What will we answer him?"
"Ah! I am seriously done with you guys! I am not gonna answer anything to Roy!"
"Wait! Don't say you brought her here cause you wanna take her to bed?"
"Noo bro! You know bro doesn't allow us to bed our victims!"
"Hmm.."
"What are we gonna do now?"
"Since we aren't allowed, give her to Anna! She isn't interested in guys, maybe girls!"
"Stop that rubbish Xavier! Get a grip on your tongue! If you don't know anything, you better don't talk!"
"Stop it Xavier! How many times should I say you?"
"Sorry bro!"
"Saying sorry to Xander is not the thing Xavier! Apologise to Anna!"
"Ah! Sorry."
"Even though it wasn't genuine, I accept it for time being!"

I don't know whether I saw a dream or I really heard some conversations but I heard almost 5-6 people talking.
The light wanted to pierce my eyes and I swear I really hate it when my sleep is disturbed by anything or anyone.
I opened my eyes and tried to adjust them to the light. My eyes went to the chandelier and I really don't wanna exaggerate but my eyes were the size of saucers.
We don't have any chandeliers in our house.
Then from where in God's name did this come from?
Then I remembered everything that occurred with me. How I was gagged and I blacked out.
I saw four guys and a girl talking with their backs towards me. I tried calling them but the voice that left my throat was as if an ugly frog croaked with all his might.
All five of them turned but what caught my attention was the fourth guy who looked as if he was a girl.
They came to me and were so close that if I try to even get up from my place, they can hug me!
Then the tube light of my teeny tiny brain switched on and I realised that maybe then people have rescued me from those street goons.
The guy who looked like a girl handed me a glass of water which I gulped in no time!
"Thank you!" I directed my gratitude towards the same who smiled and replied back." My pleasure and Hi! I Anna! What's your beautiful name?"
I gaped at the woman in front of me! God! She looked as if she is a small boy! Wearing a loose hoodie with track pants and the hood on her short hair. Even the way she was standing was like a man unlike being a woman.
"Uh...I...I am S-Sapphire."
"Pretty name just like your pretty eyes!"
A guy spoke who looked the youngest compared to the other two!"
"Uh...mmm...Thank you!" I blushed at his compliment.
C'mon, no one complimented me and getting a compliment from a guy, the redness on my cheeks came by its own.
Me being a tube light as always realized that I didn't even thank them for saving me!
"Uh...umm...Thanks for saving me from those street goons."
The girl who was silent till now spoke up and I swear she was like the world's high-class bitchy creature I have ever met in my entire 22 years of life! What she said literally made me feel as if the ground underneath me was moving in fact running away from me and waving me goodbye!
"Tsk...you think we saved you from some mere goons? Honey! You are kidnapped or whatever you wanna call it by us and we are no 'street goons' but the most wanted Mafia ruled by none other than 'MARK ROY'!"

(A/N) Phew! After almost dragging it for 1 year, started my first book! I am so damn nervous!!! After all its mah 1st book!!! I hope u guys like the story. Its just the start. Wait for the roller coaster rides of emotions where you might want to hug me tightly and then the next moment kick my ass off and rip my poor heart. I hope you support me in this journey of "HIDDEN SCARS". I am working on the upcoming chapters and trying not to make it a typical boring story.
