Chapter 10: MARRIAGE
At the Civil Affairs Bureau's Marriage Registration office.
"I'm married." Thought Ray Tristan as he held a small notebook and walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau building, looking up at the sun above his head. He was still a little dumbfounded.
For a single guy, getting married was a big life event.
"After two years, we… will divorce."
A cold voice suddenly sounded beside Ray's ears and caused a slight change on his face.
What the hell, a divorce right after getting married? Are you fucking joking with me?
Well, it can't be helped as they both agreed on it but she just had to bring it up now when Ray was having an emotional moment.
The one that spoke was a beautiful girl with snow-white skin, an oval face, pretty eyebrows, and a set of soft red lips that were bright red like cherries. Her bright eyes were like stars that could talk.
She wore a white long skirt, with long flaxen hair resting on her back. With a big chest and a firm butt, her body had a graceful curve representing a S-shape. It was a standard golden ratio figure.
The huge chest was especially attention-catching and eyeball-grabbing. It made it hard for people to resist the urge to reach out their hands.
Her name was Olivia Taylor, the number one beauty in Dark Cloud City, and also the CEO of the Starlight Corporation.
Speaking of Olivia Taylor, she enjoyed great fame in DC city.
She was a well-known business woman in the business world, and had many titles, like the Starlight CEO, Queen of the Business World and Unrivaled Beauty. She was the beloved Goddess of all men in DC city.
Three years ago, the Starlight Corporation was on the brink of bankruptcy, but since Olivia Taylor took over the company, she was able to reform the existing system, employ talented people, and ultimately bring the corporation back from death, transforming it into a company that was worth several billion dollars in market value.
"After two years, whether you like it or not, I will divorce you."
Olivia Taylor's beautiful face was ice cold, and there was not a trace of emotion.
The reason she agreed to marry Ray Tristan was due to her father pressuring her because her father wanted to form a bridge to the wealthy Liam Family. As Olivia is still unmarried and didn't have any boyfriend even after being 27 this year, many young man wants her hand in marriage.
If Olivia disagrees without any valid reason, then her father would take back the Starlight Corporation after a year.
Although Ray Tristan had a good nose line and a handsome face, he was poorly dressed, with camouflage clothing and a big pair of slippers… Olivia was a hygiene freak. Obviously, she wouldn't like him.
To be her man, one must at least be a well-accomplished gentleman.
It was just that Ray Tristan only had a pretty face, and nothing else.
Although this was the first day Olivia met Ray, she could already list a hundred of his shortcomings… dirty, smokes, lazy…

About 10 minutes later, Ray Tristan was just bailed from police station, they stopped at a coffee shop near South region's public square.

"Miss Taylor, Mister, what would the two of you like to drink?" The courteous male waiter smiled and asked.
It seemed that she was a regular customer, taking off her sungla.s.ses, revealing that countenance that could lead a majority of men's blood to flow, the lady surnamed Taylor indifferently said, "Blue mountain, add milk, no sugar."
Ray Tristan flipped and turned the menu, creased his brows in thought because he couldn't understand most of the things here as all the names here are foreign to him, also he never had coffee in his life, this is one of the new things he discovered in this world, so he smiled and said, "This... Let me have a cup of Tea, not too hot, I don't need the best, give me the cheapest."
The male waiter's smiling face turned rigid, awkwardly he replied, "Mister, we are a coffee shop, we have no tea..."
"Then I want a cup of water, does water have to be paid for?" Ray asked in vexation.
"Umm...We do have water, however, Mister, do you really want water only?" The male waiter looked at Ray with a weird expression, as if he simply couldn't understand, a person who was friend of and entered together with this goddess, was a guest that orders water.
The lady who kept looking out of the window cold and detached shot a dismissive glance at Ray, and said to the male waiter, "Give him a cup of Naples, American style."
"Alright Miss Taylor. " Like he received amnesty, the male waiter retreated in a flurry.
