Chapter 3: Chapter 3
We have been driving for around 5 minutes and the man hasn't said anything.
'He probably thinks I am a freak.'<Lucy>
"Umm m-mister, what is your name?"<Lucy>
"Josh."<Josh>
After he said his name he doesn't talk for the rest of the drive and we eventually reach our destination and Josh gets out of the car.
"Come on."<Josh>
I jump out of the car and we walk towards the door.
Once we walk in we are met with a living room and it has 6 people sitting inside. Two of the kids look like 12-year-old boys. There is another boy who looks like he is around 14 or 15. There is a girl who looks around 8 and a girl who looks around the same age as the teenage boy and there is a woman who looks to be around her thirties or forties.
Once they notice us they all stare at me. Some of them have looks of disgust and the others have a look of curiosity and all I want to do is hide but Josh is already leading me somewhere.
'He is not even going to introduce me?'<Lucy>
We walk down a hallway and he leads me to a plain room that has just a dresser, a bed, and a bathroom in it.
"You will stay here."<Josh>
"Ok."<Lucy>
I walk in and he shuts the door and I go to the bed.
'So this is will I live. At least for now.'<Lucy>
I walk over to the dresser and open the drawer and see two sets of clothes in it and after I go and jump onto the bed.
'What will my life be like from now on?'<Lucy>
I look over and see the door start to open and see the teenage girl look at me.
"Here is dinner."<Jen>
She then holds out a plate of food to me and I go up and grab it and she leaves.
'So they won't even let me eat with them.'<Lucy>
I head back to my bed and sit on it while eating. The food consists of a few pieces of steak and mashed potatoes.
'At least it tastes good.'<Lucy>
I spend around 20 minutes eating and now that I am done I don't know what to do with the plate because the only place I can put it on in my room is my bed or on the floor.
'Am I allowed to leave this room?'<Lucy>
I get up and open the door and peek outside.
'I guess the only way to know is to try.'<Lucy>
I walk out of the room with the plate in hand and search for the kitchen.
Once I get back to the living room I hear some voices that sound like they belong to the boys and I walk past noticed and eventually reach the kitchen and see the teenage girl doing the dishes and I walk up behind her.
"Umm, I didn't know what to do wi-"<Lucy>
But I am not able to finish because the girl gets startled by my sudden appearance because she didn't notice me walk up behind her.
"Oh, it's you."<Jen>
She then notices the empty plate I was holding.
"Umm, I didn't know what to do with this so I brought it to you."<Lucy>
"Oh, ok thank you."<Jen>
She takes the plate from me and starts to clean it and I start to walk off.
'She doesn't seem like a monster. But I still don't know if they can be trusted after how many people died and got hurt from them.'<Jen>
I get back to my room and lay down on the bed and sit there for a while until someone else opens my door and I look over and see the eight-year-old girl come in and run up to me.
'What does she want?'<Lucy>
"Hello!"<Emily>
"H-Hi"<Lucy>
"My name is Emily. What's your name?"<Emily>
"It's Luca- I mean Lucy."<Lucy>
I then notice she is staring at my tail.
"Can I touch your tail?"<Emily>
"Umm sure."<Lucy>
She then starts to pet and poke my tail.
"It's really soft and fluffy."<Emily>
She then suddenly grabs my tail and hugs it and I yelp.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know it would hurt you if I hugged it."<Emily>
I was about to answer back but get stopped as the woman who I am guessing is the foster mom comes in and picks up Emily and takes her away without even glancing at me.
'I guess they don't even want the other people to be friends with me.'<Lucy>
After the woman took away Emily I look around the room and my gaze goes back to the drawer filled with clothes and I go walk up to it and pull out the clothes and look at them.
'At least they cut holes for my tail, even though they look really quickly made.'<Lucy>
I then walk to the bathroom.
'I should probably clean myself because I haven't gotten too since I changed.'<Lucy>
I notice a mirror above the sink.
'I wonder what my face looks like?'<Lucy>
I am too short to see myself in the mirror so I pull out one of the sink drawers and use it as a step stool to get onto the sink so I can see myself.
And when I look at my face I see the face of a small girl and it still has a little bit of baby fat. I have orange hair that matches my tail and it goes down to my back. I have amber eyes and the pupils are slits. my fox ears are also orange and are tipped whit like my tail.
After staring at my reflection for a little bit I carefully get off the sink and start to take off my clothes.
'I haven't gotten that good of a look at my new body yet.'<Lucy>
Once I undress I look down at my body.
'Hmm, so the rest of my body is normal at least, besides the fact that now I am a girl.'<Lucy>
I go over to the bath and start it and eventually get in and wash my body.
'Do I put shampoo on my tail?'<Lucy>
I decided to because I want to keep my whole body clean and after I finish washing myself I get out and drain the bath and I grab a towel to dry myself.
'Now my tail isn't fluffy and nice anymore, I hope it fixes itself by morning because drying it is a little hard.'<Lucy>
After drying myself I find a nightgown they left me and I put it on and go into the bed and lay there trying to go to sleep.
'I wonder what will happen tomorrow?'<Lucy>
After laying there for a few minutes I eventually drift off to sleep.
