Chapter 8: Restaurant
Two days have passed since the merchant ship sailed from the island that will be defined over time as the island of the cat god, since in the following years rock carvings will be found on the island, depicting a cat fighting against tigers, bears , and many other animals, and other engravings, where he is depicted at the head of hundreds of animals. In addition to the engravings, many statues will also be found, depicting him with the head of a cat, and the body of a wolf, or the body of an eagle. But the strangest dare, the fact remains that the island has never been inhabited by any human being, but only by animals, therefore the mystery of who produced the statues and the engravings remains.
Meanwhile, on the merchant ship, one can glimpse a small blue-furred cat, sleeping peacefully on the ship's figurehead, while the crew keeps a safe distance from him, almost, as if he were a monster, disguised from a harmless cat.
In the next moment, the animal wakes up with a start, when it feels that someone is approaching it, but once it sees who it is, it gets up, yawns, and goes towards it.
"Mark, do you have to tell me something?" Asks cat, to his host
"Sire ... We have almost reached the last of the restaurants we need to refuel, once done, we will go home" says Mark respectfully, with a hint of fear in his voice, he cannot help but be afraid every time he tries to talking to him, he always has the feeling, that he could die at any moment.
After ten seconds, exhausting for Mark, the cat, he finally decides to answer "well, I warned when we arrived"
"It will be done" Mark replies immediately, as he walks away releasing a sigh
After a couple of hours, Captain Mark, with his usual tense face, returns to the figurehead, awakening the cat again, as previously promised.
"Sire, we have arrived" he says pointing to the right
The cat turns to see what Mark indicates as a restaurant, but the one in front of him, instead of a restaurant, looks like a boat, with an outside platform
Mark, seeing the frown on the cat's face, decides to speak "this is Baratie, the restaurant by the sea, and we are the only suppliers crazy enough to come here"
Before the cat can answer, two figures arrive in the distance, approaching the merchant ship, as they approach, they turn out to be two cooks, one young, with blond hair, a cigarette in his mouth, and the other a old man with a wooden leg and a chef's hat, three meters high.
"Mark, you're late," says the old cook with little patience
"Yeah, the old man, he was about to come and get you himself"
Mark, nervously turns to the two, and replies "we had some problems with some pirates, but in the end we got out"
"Well, bring the material ashore" says the old cook, as he turns and goes back to his restaurant, but he doesn't stop throwing a strange look towards where the ship's figurehead is
Instead the young man looks in Mark's direction and asks him "did you bring a cat too, and for the restaurant?"
"NO !!!!!!!, that is .. coff coff, no, he's a ... friend!?!" Mark says awkwardly
"Ok ok, we don't cook cats, don't worry" he says as he walks away
After seeing the two cooks leave the ship, Captain Mark decides to turn back to the cat, hoping not to see him angry, and luckily for him the cat's face has not changed in the least, since before the two cooks arrived.
After a relieved smile he starts talking "what do you think about a meal, here the food is ..."
But before he can continue talking, he is interrupted by a loud noise, and a canon ball hitting the restaurant.
"What is happening!?!?!"

Was it a cannonball?
Well, I don't care, now I just want to eat something, and since it's a restaurant "Mark, let's go eat, you offer"
"Yes sire" says Mark
I don't like being called that, but I don't even have a name yet, so, I don't know what I should be called, maybe it's really time to find a name for myself
"Let's go" I say to Mark, as I jump off the ship, and head with Mark and his crew to the entrance of the club.
Once inside, I see many tables, most of which are already occupied, and a few remaining.
It seems like the food doesn't have to be really bad, and in a long time, that I haven't eaten something well cooked, I really can't wait.
So, I go to a table, and jump on it, because from the chair, I am unable to eat.
In the meantime, one of the cooks also approaches, offering us some dishes, but I let Mark decide for me, as at the moment, I don't want anyone to know that there is a talking cat around, even if from how Mark told me , in these seas, there are many inexplicable things, at the apex of everything, fruits that give power to those who eat them, as happened to me.
After about a quarter of an hour, the ordered dishes finally arrive, but the waiter, who brought the dishes to us, continues to steal the food. And the moment I see him put his hand on my plate, I bite it.
"ahhhhh what are you doing ???" yells the waiter as he shakes his hand, trying to get me to let go of the bite
Then I hear someone approaching behind me, and I see a man with green hair trying to attack me, with the sheath of his sword.
Seeing him, I let go of the waiter's hand with the straw hat, at the last moment, in so doing, the swordsman's attack hits the waiter instead, knocking him to the ground.
In the next moment, I see the waiter stand up and yell "Cat, do you want to fight?"
"Fuck you kid" I say with a smirk, I don't care about hiding it anymore, I really want to scare this asshole.
But my plan, it doesn't seem to succeed, because in the next moment, I see it with bright eyes looking at me.
"Join my crew"
