Chapter 2: Chapter 2: I'm Still Hurt until now
a month ago,
"Chaselyn! darling wake up, the food is ready" my mom said
I was actually awake, wide awake I was just really lazy to get up. it was almost a month ago when John cheated on me until now the pain is still here, the pain still does not go away. tears welled up in my eyes again.
"Chaselyn! get up and get down here" I went back to reality, my mind is floating again because of that man.
"I'm Coming!" I said, I wiped my tears before I stood up and began to adjust from the bed to myself. I looked in the mirror in front of me, I saw myself with no enthusiasm, I was too lethargic unlike before. When I came down, I heard my mom and dad laughing, their fun seemed like no problem, how about me? will I be happy again? can I also feel the joy like them or not because it's just pure pain, I feel like I have no feeling.
"Darling, it's good that you come down. come, sit down and eat" my mom said with a wide smile "Yes darling, come and join us." dad said with a smile reaching his ears but I just only nodded to them as an answer and they became silent.
"Chaselyn, do you want to go out of town? for you to have fun, go to the place you want to go maybe that's the only way for you to think, hmm you know? so that you can move on with John"
"Your mom is right darling, we just want you to be okay. were having a hard time seeing you like that"
I don't know but I calmed down even more with what my parent said, I tried to stop my tears from dripping but it voluntarily dripped and until I finally cried in front of them. I hugged them while I cried "Don't worry everything will be okay, not now but soon you'll be okay"
"Yes darling, I know you can do it. you can overcome that too your mom and I love you"
I smiled a little at what they say, I'm lucky to have them as my parents even if everyone hurts me, they are there to love me wholeheartedly. They are right, I need to move on from my past I want to be happy again.
"I love you, mom and dad. Thank you for always there for me"
