Chapter 3: Vacation or Torture

Fuck me, that is what has been running in my mind. Why, what did I even do to deserve this punishment. Sighing, I just looked out the car trying to have my mind elsewhere rather than jumping my mate's bone or demanding an explanation as to why he kept us being mates a secret. His scent is intoxicating, being in one vehicle is so hard for both me and my wolf. Sebby was driving, I called shotgun so it was Lucas and Mandy at the back. Good thing I made sure I sat here instead of being a few inches away from him.
Still lost in thought about my mate.
‘Pia, what is wrong. Did you not want either or both of them to come along?’ Mandy pushed though my blocked mind linked, she must have been desperate to ask me that.
‘It is not that I am against it M, I know Sebby, he is one hell of an overprotective brother to you and after all these tears he developed that same over protectiveness to me too.’ That is what I said not commenting anything about Lucas joining and thankfully she let it go.

"Hmmm 5 more minutes please." I answer to whoever was shaking me.
"Come Sera, either you get up or I take you inside, bridal style." That woke me up and glared up at Sebby. Oh he knows I hate that kind of stuff. He sure knows how to wake me up with style (note the sarcasm there folks).
"Yeah, you can glare all you want, but we arrived at our first destination. Your things are at yours and Amy's room already." He said while we walked inside the grandeur lobby.
"So this room is where exactly?" He rolled his eyes while I asked this, he pointed where my room is, which is right next to their room. I look longingly at their door because I have wished for my mate, and I know that is not going to happen any time soon.
I guess I am still a bit tired so when I entered our room, I went straight to the unoccupied bed and just lay there. Mandy came out of the bathroom, probably after freshening up.
"Hey, and she is still alive!" I snorted at that comment.
"Yeah still am sugar pops, and I am quite tired of our journey. So if you guys are going to explore count me out. I'll hit the hay early, and will explore tomorrow. Have fun kids but don't do anything I will not do." I winked for emphasis which she only laughed at.

I woke up in the middle of the night covered in sweat, panting and in so much pain. I hear my wolf whimpering, I look around the room to see if Mandy is back, without any signs of her. I checked what time it was, it said it was somewhere along three in the morning. Where she is, why has she not come back yet. I tried to walk to the bathroom, with little to no success to that, I just fell to the ground with an oof. I see someone stirring from Mandy's bed and I was about to scream when I saw Sebby's hair and he himself looked around to the sound of me falling to my ass.
"Hey sleepy head, what are you doing there?" His husky voice asked me.
"Well I woke up covered in sweat and all I wanted to do was go to the bathroom but as you can see, to no success just landed my ass here. Why are you here anyway?" I got curious, well this is my room together with his sister.
"About that... Amy found her mate, so they umm went somewhere, the jerk of a Luke has our room key and yeah disappeared before Amy found her mate so she gave me your room key and here we are." He explained while going to me and helping me to the bathroom.
"I am happy for Mandy, that is all she wished for. Umm Sebby?"
"Yeah?"
"I have a question, if you woke up in the middle of the night sweating, panting and in pain plus your wolf whimpering too, what does that mean?" After I said this, there was realization in his eyes and he just looked at me with pity. I do not think I like the look on Sebby's face.
"Before I answer that Sera, let me tell you something about me..." And he went on and told me how when he turned sixteen he found out that his true mate had mated someone else. He also felt what I was feeling, it was one way their wolf telling us they are having sex with someone else and not with us. After he told me all this I did not realize my tears were already falling. All I could do was hug Sebby and cry myself to sleep.

I woke up to a warm body surrounding me, I peaked to see whose body is this (though I already know whose). I saw Sebby still asleep, his face crooked on my neck, arms around me hugging me tightly. The urge to pee being just around the corner, looking at the sleeping man in the bathroom. I don't care if I woke him up, I just need to pee, with the resolve I tried to get away from his grip on me, key word tried. When all else failed I did what I had to do, I kicked him off me and he fell with a loud thud, with which I ran to pee.
When I came back to the room, Sebby was glaring at me, I just smiled widely at him and all.
"You know you could have just woken me up, right?"
"Where's the fun in that." I said and he just roared laughing and said only me, I laughed with him due to his comment. I could feel he was curious about the realization he had earlier that day. I so wanted to tell him but I don't know how. My mate is his future Alpha and he is his Beta.
