Cedric's POV (5 years old)
It was raining that day, we were running to find our campsite ... Because it was really raining so hard then we heard a scream or maybe a shout, it came from a big tree near the lion cave. Mom also heard that thing so we followed it, then we saw a baby ... She was crying that time.
"A baby? What is this baby doing here?" daddy asked.
"Look maybe she's hungry oh." mommy said.
"Dale, don't approach that, maybe it's a monster's child." daddy scolded mommy.
"Archie, it's just a baby ... And then it's a pity if we just leave that baby here." mommy said.
"Jeez it's up to you, as long as you hurry up and maybe the lion will come out of that cave and chase after us." said daddy and then lifted me.
"Mommy look at the baby's hair." I said while pointing at the baby's hair.
"It's color white, why is her hair like that?" mommy said.
"I told you ... Maybe that's the monster's child! Then look she still has a necklace." said daddy.
"This is not a normal necklace ... It looks like a necklace of those with a high monarchy. What if ... This child is not from here?" said mommy.
"Jeez, you decide what you want to do with that baby ..." daddy said annoyed.
"Archie, maybe she is the answer to our prayer ... Our daughter Loretta died, why don't we just adopt her?" mommy said while looking down and carrying the baby.
Daddy didn't speak and he just kept quiet while he lifted me.
"Archie ..."
"It's up to you ..."
"Really?"
"I told you, you decide what you want."
"Thank you, Archie ... Baby did you hear that? We will adopt you, We will call you Ashleigh because your hair color is gray with white." laughed mommy.
I looked at daddy and noticed he was smiling ...
Of course, my baby sister Loretta died, just last year because we did not know what became the root of her illness, so now baby Ashleigh is my new sister!
Back to Present
Cedric's POV
I never thought about anything like that, that maybe she came from another world and ... And her real parents just left her here, because my sister is so weird so to defend her I just say my sister dyed her hair so that's what happened, but no matter how much I defend her, there are still many who tease her which causes me to beat up those who oppressed her before.
It's now the last month of summer and this is also the last month we will be with Ash.
"Big Bro." she called me.
"Why Ash?" I asked calmly. She just smiled then sat down next to me.
"I decided to look for a school where I can go to college." she said cheerfully.
I just stared at our picture frame hanging on the wall and all the memories of when we were kids came back.
Flashback
"B-Big bro." she ran towards me while crying.
Ashleigh was only 6 years old then and I was her protector whenever someone bullying with her.
Why? Did someone is bullying with you again?" I asked worriedly.
She just nodded and hugged me while crying.
"Don't worry I'll take care of those who bully you." I said while hugging her. "Your older brother won't let anyone bully you, Ash." I added while kissing her forehead.
The next day I rushed to the children who bullied her.
"Hey! What did you say to my sister huh?!" I shouted while staring at the three girls who bullied her.
"Why? It is because she's so ugly! She doesn't fit in here at this school! She doesn't have beautiful hair! She looks like old yuck!" said the girl at the back and laughed at the same time accompanied by the two girls as well.
"You know, even though my sister's hair color is like that, she is the most beautiful girl and the kindest in the world, unlike you that you are already ugly, Your behaviors are ugly as well. You may want me to expel you from school-"I didn't continue what I was about to say when suddenly someone hugged me and she was crying.
"D-Don't, brother, don't let them out of here." crying Ashleigh said.
"Ash don't be too kind to people like them. They should be taught a lesson." I said and approached the 3 girls but Ash stopped me.
"Don't worry brother, it's okay." she says.
I glared at the 3 girls who were crying in front of Ash and me.
"Apologize to my sister now!" I scolded them.
They did what I said, as usual Ash forgave those who bullied her. But the next day, Mom and Dad look for a new school that Ash will attend, and since then Ash has started coloring her hair dark brown to hide the true color of her hair.
End of Flashback
"Big bro..."
"Big Bro!?"
I woke up to reality when Ash calling me.
"Brother... I called you earlier but you're not paying attention!" annoyed Ash said.
I immediately messed up her hair and laughed hard.
"I'm sorry I was deep in thought." I said laughing as I messed up her hair.
"Jeez, Big bro stop messing up my hair!" she said angrily.
"Sorry sorry hahaha... What were you saying again earlier?" I asked while raising an eyebrow. car.
"Brother, I said that I decided to look for a school to go to college. And also dad bought me my own car." she said while showing me the key to her newly bought car.
"What color?" I asked.
"Hmm, you'll see... Come on!" She said and pulled me down the stairs.
"Ta-da!" She said while pulling on the cloth covering the car.
"Maroon? Nice one. It suits you Lil sis." I said then chuckled.
"I'm also leaving this afternoon brother to find a university to attend. I might get late to go home later." She said then scratched her head.
"Why don't you leave early so you can get home early?" I said.
She thought and then smiled.
"Hmm, later around 11:00 am brother I'm leaving too like you said so I can get home early." She said and then smiled.
"Why don't you want to go with me?" I asked him while crossing my arms.
"Brother, I want to be the one to look for the university I will go to next school year." She said at the same time pout like a child.
I just sighed and then smiled.
"If that's what my dearest sister wants. All right, just be careful okay?" I said then kissing her forehead at the same time.
"Thanks, big bro. You're the best." she said as she hugged me.
"You're the best too Lil Ash Ash." I said and hugged her as well.
"Brother, don't call me Ash Ash, I'm not a child anymore." She said annoyed.
"Alright Alright" I said and smiled.
"All right, brother, I'll eat first and so that I can leave early." she said and went inside.
I just sighed and just smiled then closed my both eyes.
Ash is now grown-up, she is no longer as small as before hahaha she will not call me when someone bullies her.
'Jeez, Ash ... Why do you have to grow up hahaha I will miss the little crying Ash.'
Someone's POV
Ugh annoying why Mom and Dad forbid so much? I can't do what I want Jeez ... I hate them!
I suddenly stood up on the bed with a sudden knock.
Sh*t maybe that's my mom!
"Princess, you need to get ready to leave." said one of my butlers.
"Okay..." I said with a sweet tone.
I just gasped and then sighed.
Today I am going back to Magica Academy. Before the start of the school year next month, I miss school more than here in the palace, many things are not allowed to be done.
My cousin Stheno and I will return to Magica Academy together again, Oh god I also missed sitting in Elite Seats.
It also misses being greedy for attention at the Academy. Jeez... I missed everything at school!
I hurried to get dressed and then left the room.
"Oh Hey cuz!" I call my cousin Stheno.
As usual, she ignored me and just passed by. Jeez... I was just like air in her eyes and she just passed me by as if she saw no one.
"Oh Great... Here we go again." I whispered to myself then rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs.
I noticed that Stheno seemed to be in a hurry as well, going to the throne room. I just ignored it and just went to the Dining Room, I was also hungry and maybe I could keep up with Dad. I prefer to be with Aunt Tillie, we always have the same vibes hahaha.
When I got to the Dining Room there I caught up with Aunt Tillie.
"Good morning Aunt Tillie!" I said once hugging her.
"Good morning my beautiful niece." She whispered and hugged me too.
We talked about what I wanted to do at the entrance, and whether Stheno would be with me in the dorm. I just said that Madie would be with me in a dorm room. Aunt Tillie and I talked a lot before Stheno called me so we could go back to Magica Academy together.
'I'm excited to go back to school.'
