Chapter 5: The Party [Part end]
"Guys"?
What". They all replied.
"Is this girl, Jason's girlfriend"? Marcus asked looking at the girl who was standing next to Jason in front of a wall.
"I think so, but why are you asking"? Andre asked while he was scratching his short beard.
"Today, I saw this girl across the street in front of my house, and then she vanished".
Are you drunk?" Andre asked with a smile on his face as everyone started laughing at Marcus.
" He’s probably is drunk. "Sancho said as they continued to laugh at Marcus.
"This is my first time seeing her, and if you say you saw her, then she must be new". "Anyways let's drop this shit y'all... Marcus where's Jenna"? Kendrick asked.
"I left her on the other side". Marcus replied to him. "Alright, I finna see y'all later. Kendrick went after Jenna. This man is in love with her.
Later after drinking some beers...
"Guys, I'll go enjoy the party". Marcus left and went downstairs and to his right, there were the stairs which lead toward the exit and to his left, there was a basement that did not have too many folks so, he went inside and sat down there on the ground drinking and chilling.
"Alright, folks get outta here". A familiar voice said. Marcus did not care cause ain't nobody can make him leave.
"Jason who's this"? the voice of a girl said.
"Don't worry about him, he's a friend of mine".
"I told you that I wanted to be myself and I’m not staying here when someone else is here". the girl said.
Marcus opened his eyes and it was Jason and the girl he saw yesterday and as he was trying to get up, his bottle fell off his hand then Jason and his girl turned their attention to him.
"I thought, you were dead, Marcus". Jason said while his hand was over the girl's shoulder and she was leaning on his chest while sitting on one of the couches but she had an angry gaze on her face.
"I bet you woulda been happy if that was the case". Marcus said giving him a scary gaze.
The girl noticed and said. "Jason, I thought you two were friends?"
"We are, that's just his personality". Jason smirked after saying that and slapped the girl's ass but Marcus did notice and then she moved herself away from him.
Marcus sighed and started making his way toward the door, so he could leave Jason softly put his right hand on Marcus's shoulder. "You can stay and drink with us mate". Jason said with his British accent.
Marcus looked at him. "Fine". The only reason I’m staying is that he did not want her to think that he's an asshole, you know you gotta play your cards right" he said in his mind, so he went back and sat on the ground and continue drinking.
There was an awkward silence in the room. "So you guys are friends since when"? the girl said as she was trying the break the poisonous silence in the basement.
Jason gulped "Since middle school, am I right"? he asked
"That would be the case". Marcus responded while scratching his dry lip.
"Oh, that's cool and by the way, My name is Jennifer". She uttered as she brushed through her long gray hair with her fingers.
"I'm Marcus". "Nice to meet you, Marcus" The girl smiled and shook Marcus's hand.
"Be right back, y'all" Jason said. "The party needs more beer". He said as he bent over and kissed her forehead as she was sitting on a couch and after that, he left.
She was just looking at Marcus like someone she knew and biting her lips. "Do we know each other"? Marcus pointed his finger at her and back at him looking straight into her eyes. "I have seen you before, I just can't remember where". she said. Damn, she's beautiful and she's fine.
"really"? Marcus smirked.
Right when Marcus was about to make a move on her, his phone started ringing. he picked it up without looking who it was. "Hey".
Where are you"? Jenna asked.
"You know where the basement is right"?. Marcus said hoping that Jenna would know.
"Nah, you finna tell me"? Jenna questioned. Marcus told her exactly how to get to the basement. Jenna made it to the basement
"Wassup" Jenna casually said.
"Wassup". Jennifer waved at her and then Jenna went to Marcus and sat between his legs on the ground.
"Who is she"? Jenna whispered.
"No one, are you Jealous"? Marcus whispered and smiled.
"No, why would I be? by the way I wanna go home cause my head is spinning "Jenna whined giving him that desperate face of hers that always tricks him.
"Like right now"? he asked her.
"Yeah, like fucking right now". She replied as her head was leaning on his chest. Marcus lifted Jenna up and they both got up and Marcus told Jennifer that it was a pleasure to meet her and hope that they meet once again.
-Home-
Nobody was at home except Jenna and Marcus, and Jenna was in her room doing God knows what and Marcus was there in the living room sitting in the dark doing nothing but looking at a black screen while he and his brain were arguing over what he should watch.
He couldn't find anything to watch and Super-natural's new season was not out yet, so he went to his room and laid on his back thinking about things he needed.
His phone started ringing and he picked it up "Hey, Mom".
"Are you still at the party"? She questioned.
"No, we are back, do you perhaps need anything"? Marcus responded
"Yeah, I forgot my credit card at home and I need to buy something".
"Aren't you with Dad"? Marcus asked.
"We were together but he still at his work".
"Then, text me the address and I'll come to bring it to you". She texted him the address and then he checked on Jenna, she was sleeping maybe she drank too much, and then he went to his Stepmom.
When Marcus got to the address, it was a house just like theirs but this one seemed a little bit bigger and stylish, there were different lights outside of it, which gave the house a different kinda vibe. Marcus approached the house after locking the car and walked up to the door and knocked.
"I'm coming", someone said, It was a black guy who looked just like a high schooler and Marcus was taller than him, he opened the door and told him to get in, the house looked fascinating, Marcus wanted to look around but that would have made him very disrespectful but the owner had a fetish for naked paintings.
"Ya want anything cuh"? he asked Marcus.
"Nah I'm good, don't worry. Marcus replied.
"I'm Marcus by the way".
"Nice to meet ya mate, call me Franklin".
"Franklin smith"? Marcus curiously asked waiting for an answer from franklin who was looking at him in surprise.
"Yeah, how did you know"? Franklin said holding his Xbox controller in his hand looking confusingly at Marcus because he’s never met him and he knows his name.
"Jenna said that you and she are friends, I men close ones". Marcus said smirking.
Marcus snapped and smiled his fingers because he knows Jenna and that made him feel secured "She's a real one dawg, take care of her.
"I will" Marcus was looking at every corner because he kind of felt awkward.
"I believe, that you came here to see your stepmom, right? Franklin asked as Marcus was standing in the middle of their living room.
"Yeah, where is she"? Marcus asked him.
He led him to where his Stepmom was and then, my stepmom told me to wait for her cause she knows she gonna waste herself.
Marcus Stepped outside the house and left the door open cause, he does not want to knock again and decided to call Jenna.
"Where are you"? she picked up the phone and asked in despair.
"With your mom".
"Why didn't you wake me up"? Jenna whined,
"I thought you were tired and stuff like that". Marcus started laughing
"I fucking hate you," she said.
"I love you too".Marcus opposingly replied.
"Don't talk to me" Jenna grinned eating ice-cream that she took from the fridge and started to wander around her living room while talking to Marcus.
"What can I do to make it up to you"? Marcus asked cause he really wanted to make it up to her somehow.
"How about you have sex with me when Dad and Mom aren't at home"!
Sex? a voice said behind Marcus with a scary tone. then realized that his phone was on speaker. Marcus's heart started to beat faster than a ticking bomb.
