Chapter 18: Land Of Lightning
It has been a week since then, Akashi had nothing to do so he headed out to the Land of lightning where the cloud village was just formed and announced A as the first Raikage. The Cloud village was Akashi's personal favorite Village. The Raikage is definitely the best Kage.
Akashi wanted to enjoy some of the scenery so he didn't activate his lightning chakra mode. As he went by he saw lots of small clans that didn't join any of the villages, he thought about recruiting them but he decided he should get his village sorted out first.
After some days of walking, he found a place that looked to be a bad area. Before he even entered the place he saw two people walking towards him. They looked like your typical anime retarded thug. They put a knife up against his throat.
"If you want to live we suggest you pay up," one of the men said while the other held out his hand. Akashi was confused, even if the villages were just established it seemed like most people would know about them? But he didn't have time for this so he simply punched the dude with the knife's head off then grabbed the other guy and stabbed his hand into his chest. He then wiped the blood off and kept walking.
After a few weeks of traveling Akashi finally arrived at the land of Lightning. Once he got close to the village two guards came up. "Who are you and what is your business" Akashi stopped "I am the Kage of Yamakagure, I am here to speak with the Raikage" "we will send a message wait one moment" after that they sent a message to the Raikage.
A few moments later the Raikage came down, he was a dark-skinned man with black hair and black eyes, there was nothing to distinct about him. "I am the Raikage, what do you want?" "I want to form an alliance with you and crush the village in the land of water" after thinking for a moment the Raikage responded "What would I possibly get out of that"
Akashi had thought about this and already had an answer "You would get 40% of all resources from the mist village" of course the cloud had resources, but the villages were still new and could always use more. "I need to be sure that we wouldn't be doing the work by ourselves, so if we spar and I think you are strong enough I will agree"
This was within his expectations, if there was something all Raikage had in common it was that they only respected strength. "Ok, let's go" then they went to a training field far from the village.
Once the Raikage said start I entered sage mode some fur grew on my arms but nothing too noticeable, before leaving I left a few clones behind so that they could gather nature energy. The Raikage ran at me full speed using the Lightning Chakra mode. He put his arm in a hook shape, this was the 1st Raikage's special move, lightning charge.
This jutsu was when you put your arms in a blocking motion and charge at your enemy the speed at which you hit them would kill someone instantly. Because he was in sage mode his physical strength increased several times, I then put my one arm out and blocked the charge.
The power surged through my body and my feet slid back, being hit at that high of speeds was extremely painful. The Raikage was very surprised to see his strongest move blocked, after everything calmed down the Raikage finally answered "I agree to help you destroy the mist" Akashi then smiled and put down a seal. "What's that for?" all the Kage didn't know much about each other because they had never met, "it's so I can come back later"
The Raikage didn't understand but did not ask anymore after saying goodbye Akashi teleported home. At that moment the 1st shinobi war was planned.
