Chapter 9: Su Naito
The largest mansion in the Silverwind City belonged to the Flame Family but their wealth was even lesser than a high class merchant family .
The Lord Dustin was not biased as he politely interacted with even people of low status like commoners . Thus many people visited his mansion with gifts and some bold ones come to complain about other people who bullied them under the cover of status .
Raven disliked this part very much because unlike the predecessor who was a lively kid , he preferred quiet much more . Now that Dustin had gone to war , he as the young master had to attend some social parties every week . Claw was the one who told him about this and Raven's only thought was that who the hell imposed so much burden on a 12 year old ? Naturally Raven refused to attend all these parties and Claw could not force him either .
The Su Family of the Silverwind City was one of the most privileged families in the city . This family was the only one which had good relationship with Flame family because other families have suffered Dustin's wrath many times since he became the Governor . They only did not join hands and attack the Flame Family because Dustin unlike many was not interested in monopolizing resources which they coveted too much and even murdered people in the dark all the time for it .
Su Naito was the youngest son of Patriach of Su Family . He met with Raven on various occasions and the two of them hit off easily because both had mischievous and lively personality. But Su family was upstart noble and their origin was merchant thus they had much more money . Raven's pocket money was not bad as one low grade spirit stone a year was more than enough for a common family of five to survive for one year . But Su Naito recieved more than 10 stones a year at which the previous Raven was jealous like any normal child .
Naito was worried about his friend because Raven had practically not taken one step out of his mansion since more than one week . Dustin was strict and Naito being the mischievous kid was scolded by him very much so Naito only came now when Dustin was out .
He wore white robes made of fine silk but the fat body had no sense of elegance . Raven sized him out and could not help but remember the rich kids from his school who only knew how to eat all the time . Naito was the same as he had eaten more than five fruits served to him already since arriving only two to three minutes ago . Raven was glad though as he did not mind becoming friends with such a figure . Such simple minded people were easy to manipulate after all and Su family was rich on top of that .
" So Fatty , where do you want to go this time? I'm telling you though I will not be going far because I want to cultivate diligently. "
" Holy shit ! Brother you have changed . Tch.. so you also became cultivation nerd like my brothers in the end . Well at least you are willing to play with me for a while .. " Naito knew the importance of cultivation so he did not pester Raven but was glad that he could play for a short while instead.
" Brother I only came this time because I was worried about you . You practically dissapeared from the city but I am glad that you are fine ! Want to meet old man Zhou and hear the stories about his journey again ? "
Raven went into thoughts at the name of Zhou because from the memories he had quite the impression of this old man whose one leg was crippled . Zhou gave Raven mysterious vibes because he always seemed to hiding secrets . Raven knew that Zhou was a hunter before who went in tams to hunt low level beasts and visit many graves of past experts too .
Raven had the knowledge that after the war which happened 10 thousand years ago , the experts who had died left many inheritance sites and many good stuff could be found from even their tombs alone . Raven decided to visit Zhou after he confirmed his thoughts because he may have opportunity to steal good stuff from Zhou's small house which was located at the end of Commoners District .
