Chapter 11: The Last Plague

After me and Trevor had split up, I had headed straight to the Town hall to look for the survivor in trouble. I walked on the sidewalk, looking around for any footprints of the girl. I look up at the grey clouds, as the sound of a footstep comes from behind him. I quickly turn around, grabbing my cheeto launcher out and pointing it behind me, at a pair of small bushes. The bushes rustle again, and I aim the tip of the launcher at the bush, and slowly move closer to it. I kick the bush, intending for the girl to step out from behind the bushes, but instead, a tiny squirrel scurries out of the bushes and runs across the grass, then jumping into another patch of bushes. I sigh and lower my gun.
Another scream comes from the east, and I quickly turn around again. I strap my gun on my back once again and start to walk forward. "Hello?" I say, "anyone there?" I get no answer, but still continue to look around for her. I brush my shoulder off. "She has to be here somewhere-" A giant bag is suddenly wrapped around me, as I fall onto the ground face first. "Agh! Someone! HELP!" I yell. I hear footsteps behind me, and someone grabs my leg and pulls me across the ground. "First one down, Daniel. Now all we need to do is get Trevor, and our plan can begin" Someone says. I look down at my ice axes and scoot over to grab one of them. I hold my ice axe onto the bags tip, and slowly
Start to cut my way out of the bag.
I cut the bag enough for my legs to fit out, and then slid out. I quickly grab my other ice axe and run, but the guy sees me. "Hey kid, get the hell over here, or else" He says. I move my hand up to my cheeto launcher. "I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse" I say. "Go ahead, make my day" the guy says back. I shrug, and pull out my cheeto launcher. "Sorry, but you asked for this" I say, firing a cheeto powder filled bullet and the man's face. The bullet explodes as it hits him, and cheeto powder gets in his eyes. "Crap!" he yells. I fire another bullet and start to run away, but I trip on a log and fall onto the ground. I scoot back up and lean onto the wall. BOOM! A monster bigger than our entire city destroys the mall, and completely crushes the parking lot with its feet. I look up and the giant monster, with my eyes widened. "What the hell?" I say. I look over the log and see the man. The monster looks down at the man, as I duck down. The man screams as the monster grabs the guy and swallows him WHOLE. The monster then sniffs around and finds me hiding behind the log. The monster roars in anger, lifting its hand up, ready to obliterate me. I stand up, and grab onto the log, and start to run at the monster. The monster looks down at me and turns around, grabbing the log I was holding onto and pulling me UP. "uh oh" I say. The monster holds me up, as I look down at the ground. "Not good, definitely not good!" I yell. I start to scoot to the side, and then climb inside of the log. I pant heavily, as the monster grunts in confusion. "Yes, it forgot I was here-" the monster suddenly drops the log, sending me and the log plummeting 23 feet DOWN.
I scream as the log spins around, and the log lands on the front of a car, shattering the glass. I fall out of the log, collapsing to the ground to see Trevor and Rose piled on top of each other. I turned around to look at the monster, but it was gone. Now, more than half of the mall was destroyed, and the parking lot had 2 giant footprints in the middle of it. I cough, and then run over to Trevor and Rose.
