Chapter 13: First combat training of class 1-C
When Orochimaru saw 3 talent jade, he was baffled. You know that in 3 years after getting the system he didn't gain any talent jade at all but under one week he got 6 talent jades. But through this, he got to know the way to get talent jade.
It is rewarded by the system if we do the things which bring major change to his life. Like going to the academy and unlocking chakra.
He directly chose genjutsu genius from talent store. He chose ninjutsu genius previously which didn't mean that genjutsu genius was not important, but he gave ninjutsu talent priority. But if he can choose both why will he not.
As for 2 talent jade, he kept it for later use as other things won't give benefit now as those things will not be taught in the academy.
He wanted to go into upper classes as he saw that class 1-B and 1-A even have combat matches, target practices, etc.
As for the 1-C class, they only opened chakra now and even don't know the basics, so of course, they have just explained some basics.
But Orochimaru came to know that after 6 months there will be matches between classes so that they can learn from students, but in a way, it is also to find geniuses from lower classes and a chance to get upgraded to high class.
It's said that the top 5 students of 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C are selected to fight to compare with each other the top 3 are rewarded by the academy. Ashido took the class on the training ground of the academy like always. But unlike shurikenjutsu training or basic exercises, today was different
"Okay, the class you guys have done most of the basics. But the most of being a ninja is combat experience. Today I am going to see what have you guys learned in the academy. I will show you the first basic etiquettes used to match"

"Good this is called the seal of confrontation which indicates that you are ready for battle. Good start the battle"
When Ishido saw the battle, even though he expected the fight to be not good as they are amateurs. But he still was stunned by the fight. No shurikenjutsu, no balance, no stance, it was even worse than the brawl between two alcoholics in street. But he calmed his nerves by thinking that they will improve with time. But still decided to explain their mistake to them after class.
"Hah, ok well after fight both of you link your fingers like this
This is called the seal of reconciliation which shows that you are still comrades"
He explained it to them and watched more fights. He sighed when he saw that many were able to use the academy basic taijutsu style. Look like only the first one were knucklehead. Some guys pique his interest like mighty duy who was very good in taijutsu.
Although he was stiff it was okay academic taijutsu style is a basic style invented by Tobirama sama so that it can perfectly fit the foundation and merged with other styles.
Maybe Duy will able to find his style through practicing more.
Another one to note was Minato namikaze, although the opposite kid was no match for him the match was enough to show his excellent shurikenjutsu, speed, and wisdom.
Although Jiraiya was not good at taijutsu stances, his raw power covered up for that.
But what anybody didn't notice that Jiraiya walked away with a clenched fist as his expression changed from dejected to sad, sad to determined, determined to satisfied.
Jiraiya POV
Today sensei said that he would conduct combat practice I was very happy about this. But after the match started I made many mistakes which I could've not done but in the match, I was not able to decide the next move and thus resulted in many mistakes. How could I be so weak
But how can I, the great Jiraiya be upset for things like this. If it's just this, isn't it just more practice, more matches, more hard work? Hmph, nothing is hard for a genius like me.

3rd POV
After that Ishido called Orochimaru for battle. In a way he was looking forward to his fight, even though Orochimaru is always quite reports of teacher about him is that he is a remarkable student, perfect in shurikenjutsu, perfect in exams, perfect in demeanor. Even in my class, I will say the same.
As the game started Orochimaru made the seal of confrontation which was quite ironic in his opinion as ninja never tell when they are going to attack after all ninjas don't play by the rule. After that, he didn't take any battle stance like he was not here for combat.
After seeing Orochimaru's action Ishido was disappointed with him. According to him, ninja should never underestimate the enemy. Even if elite jonin fights genin they should keep their guard against him. [A/N: A certain goddess sealed in the moon will certainly agree with sensei. Hah~, if only she had knowledgeable sensei like him. ]
But Ashido didn't know that the taijutsu style of Orochimaru didn't need any stance, his taijutsu depends on instincts and mind.
Orochimaru's opponent named (hmm~ right) mob character 1 didn't get angry when Orochimaru didn't take any taijutsu stance.

He also made a seal of confrontation which he doesn't know as he skipped when the teacher was explaining it. But he saw that others did it, so he also did it, maybe it is to see who is cooler.
After that, he ran towards Orochimaru and punched him...
