Chapter 29: Missions
The next day Orochimaru woke up at 4:00 AM as usual. He wore loose clothes and did some light exercises and kunai throwing practice. It is easily noticed that his kunai throwing technique has increased significantly due to new talents. After that, he started taijutsu practices.

After training, he came back home and said good morning to his mother who was making breakfast and freshened up. It seems that headbands are given after passing the exam of team leader.
Madara took him for a photograph which was taken by every team with their sensei.
If anyone sees the photograph they will only see two people with an emotionless face as if ready to kill the photographer.
Madara sensei said to Orochimaru
"You have chosen your taijutsu path. So, I would not comment on that, although it is in its preliminary stage and it needs tempering from fighting experience."
Madara took out chakra paper and handed it to Orochimaru.
"This is the chakra paper used for checking the chakra affinity of a person. Check it, with this you can see which type of jutsus you should focus on."
Orochimaru entered chakra according to Madara's instruction and was not surprised that it showed all 5 chakra attributes that can be shown on chakra paper. After all, he has Yata no Kagami which increases all seven elements affinity.

After practice and other things, I arrived at Hokage tower for my for taking my first mission. Although I have to take a mission from Hokage as it is a tradition that a team receives the first mission from Hokage.

I am regaining confidence that I am the protagonist after all it is a cliche for the protagonist's first mission to catch the cat.
But I noticed that I have to do cursed D rank missions. It is a rule to complete a certain amount of D rank mission before handing over a C rank mission if the genin has done good work. Ignoring some special circumstances like war.
