After a while, the train came to a stop. I was jumping up and down in the carriage with loads of excitement.
"Oh, we're here! Ahhhh I'm so happy" I shouted.
"Bit excited are we Sierra?" George asked.
"Well....just a little bit" I replied. Aiden and George both stood up along side me and we all made our way to the great hall ready to be sorted into our houses.
"Aiden Reef" Professor McCloskey shouted. He smiled at George and I before going up and sitting under the hat.
"Another Reef, I see...." the hat started
"Quite mischievous indeed. Potentially a Meager hey...? No? I've got it.....Gillway " the had finished off. Everyone in the great hall started clapping and cheering and Aiden went off to sit next to his older brother Peter.
"James Wood" Everyone went to one side letting the blonde haired boy through. Everyone seemed to be intimidated by him, but not to me. He went up and sat in the chair. Not a second had gone by and the boy smirked.
"Meager" the hat shouted. It hardly touched him. Wow I thought to myself. He really thinks he's the be all and end all.
"Just you wait" I muttered to myself.
"George Reef" the Professor called.
"Ah, almost exactly like your brother...hmm...although I do see the differences. Well then...Better be....Gillway" Once again everyone clapped and George went to sit next to Aiden.
"Jeff Westside" Professor McCloskey called. The boy slowly made his way up to the chair. Everyone was whispering amongst themselves. 'Jeff Westside...' everyone muttered to each other. The sorting hat took a while to make a decision.
"Not Meager, Not Meager" the boy whispered to himself. The sorting hat had taken that into account.
"Not Meager hey? Well then...better be....Gillway " it shouted. Everyone cheered and Harry started skipping towards the table.
"Ben Reef" Professor McCloskey called. Yay another Reef I thought. Their whole family seemed so sweet and caring. Not to mention complete troublemakers though.
"...I know just were to put you...Gillway r" the hat shouted. Ben seemed to calm himself down and made his way to the table to sit with Harry, Clara, Aiden and George
"Sierra!!"
"Oh no it's my turn." I whispered to myself. I turn to look at Aiden and George, hoping I'd be put into Gillway too.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" The hat started saying.
"Quite an outspoken one, and intelligent too. Very cunning and strong. Hmm...this is very tough" It seemed to take forever for a decision to be made for me.
"Meager" the hat shouted. Everyone started clapping as I went to sit with my house. Meager I thought to myself. I looked over at Aiden and George, we gave each other a quick smile and the feast then began.
After Dinner I got to see the twins before we headed to our dorms. "Congratulations on making Meager. Aiden said with a smile.
"Thanks Aiden" you replied "I just...I'm happy but...I really did hope to be in Gillway with you guys" I continued.
"Don't worry Sierra" George said.
"We'll still be able to hang out in our classes" Aiden mentioned.
