Chapter 105: What... The Hell?

.

.

.

**(Forest - East - Sam's Group)**

.

They've gotten the shortest route due to Sam, the tank of the group. He would obviously carry most of the items, and protect his friends with a large shield, but a downside, it slows him down a lot.

Although they did have space pouches, the weapons and shield he had were not able to fit, therefore, he had to deal with the weight of the shield behind him at all times.

Even though they had the shortest route, due to the natural aggro Sam had, they couldn't avoid the monsters at all, even the ones that were asleep.

They would wake up whenever he was anywhere in the vicinity of 10 meters, usually, only those within the same realm or above are able to resist it or nullify it, which is why it was still necessary to have an aggro skill.

Well... at least it was fun for Kyle, he got to straight bash the organs of every monster he could find in his sight, sometimes even before they entered the 10-meter range of Sam.

"Hey! Slow down! There are too many trees here and we can't afford to have you be lost!" Sam yelled.

*Thud~*

Sam threw away the body of a large wolf after its entire body was beat into literal mush, appearing right before the two, "I'm back. Sorry about that, been a long time since I could let loose like that."

"Don't worry about it, you'll have plenty of chances to do that because of this simulation here. But... we'll need you to cooperate with us, you'll get to bash some goblins once we enter the cave, alright?" Elizebeth smiled.

Kyle wiped himself off of the blood that was on him, "Don't worry, I know what we need to do."

They continue to steadily go through the forest, letting Kyle be in front, taking all the aggro Sam had accumulated.

They kept walking, but Kyle saw something out of the corner of his eye, "Guys, I think I found the cave."

They turned around, "There? Are you sure? Although David only marked three circles on the map, that might not be the cave..."

"Well, it's one of the few large openings I've seen, so there's a chance, right? Plus, they are hobgoblins, maybe they learned how to camouflage their hideout." Kyle replied.

"I... sure, let's go with what you said." Elizebeth smiled.

They pull the pile of leaves and dirt apart, revealing a larger hole, the surroundings were stone, with some ore deep inside it.

"See? It's a cave, should be one of their bases then." Kyle pointed.

The cave here seemed... a bit different from the other two caves, but they wouldn't know that, they didn't explore the other two caves.

Even though they didn't see the other two caves, they could feel that for some reason, this cave is very smooth, abnormally smooth.

"I don't think a normal cave would feel like this, throughout the entire cave..." Kyle commented.

Of course, he was taking that personally, even though it was just a small argument that didn't even last thirty seconds, but he just liked the feeling of being right.

"You're right, let's get to the end of the cave then." Elizebeth urged.

She could feel some negative feelings from him. It wasn't completely directed at them, but it seemed like he hated most nobles. The only two that had his respect would be Feil and David, he had seen Feil fight before and he knew that David wasn't lying when he fought and won against Mr. Gluri.

'Maybe some noble had ruined his family...?' Elizebeth truly tried thinking about it.

Although she was smart and knew about corruption being everywhere, no matter how peaceful it seemed, there were always dark corners she couldn't get rid of.

She felt her hands reach a corner. So did the others, they touched the wall in front of them.

*Crack~ Crack~*

They felt their hands touch the end of the cave, the wall in front of them crack.

Kyle felt his whole body tremble, not in fear... but in excitement, "Get ready!"

Everyone braced themselves.

*Crack~*

The wall in front of them cracked, revealing... several dead bodies of humans... most of them were females.

There were piles of bones, half-eaten humans, blood was splattered everywhere one the ground, even organs were spread everywhere.

Everyone's face froze, looking at the scene.

There was no **** or anything like that... but the goblins were currently feasting.

*Crunch~ Rip~*

There were dozens of newborn goblins, who seemed to burst out of the unconscious women's belly, instantly killing them.

It wasn't that they were too large, but the fact that they were born with a full row of sharp teeth, which tore the body of their mother from the inside out.

*Crunch~ Rip~*

The newborns didn't feel any connection at all, diving at their mother's dead bodies, biting. In their minds, it was very tasty, they already ate their way out, might as well finish, and not waste any... 'food'.

*Thud~*

*Crunch~ Rip~*

A few more bodies feel from the corner of the room, there were three more humanoid gobl-no, they're the hobgoblins, two of them!

With the number of dead bodies, all of the goblins had already woken up, jumping and pushing each other to get the first taste of food. For them, the females generally had much better taste.

Being the two strongest goblins in the group, of course they had first dibs on the bodies, at least the higher quality ones.

They were currently eating breakfast... a great one too.

The goblins here seemed to all have 'finished' with the females here before Sam's group came here, all that's remaining is their... soft... fat... smooth... delicious... flesh, especially to nurture their own young.

Now... nothing was wasted, their teeth were strong enough to even eat through bones.

*Crunch~ Rip~*

Seeing the scene in front of them, even Kyle and Sam felt extremely uncomfortable, let alone Elizebeth.

They all stepped back, trying to stabilize themselves.

"What... the hell?" They all say at the same time.

Sam and Feil used to be commoners... part of the darker side of life, they saw many scenes like **** and abuse... but even for them... even... even if they were dolls, it was god damn realistic it made their stomachs churn.

Although they did train the princes, they most certainly did not train the female royalty.

Elizebeth wasn't able to handle it, slumping onto the ground.

She still had her sanity, she didn't scream, to use magic, one must be very strong in terms of mental and spiritual capabilities.

Even though she didn't scream, she grabbed the nearest cloth that was within arm's reach and bit it. No... she did scream, it was so quiet that it seemed none existent when it was muffled by the cloth she was biting into.

She closed her eyes for a split second, there was some fear from her now small trembling stature.

But... she opened her eyes, her expression gloomy, and cold, taking deep breaths while looking at the scene of feasting in front of her.

She calmed down extremely quickly, yet, when she spoke, it contained several layers of ice on it, "I'm fine now. Let's get this over with."

*Shiver~*

Both Kyle and Sam shivered from her voice, 'Since when was the shy princess so... cold...?'

Everyone knew that they were currently feasting, it was the perfect time to attack now.

Sam hesitated, "Eli-princess, are you able to freeze the goblins or slow them down?"

"I'll do my best. I'll cast my {Blizzard} first, then, Sam will get the aggro, after that, go crazy Kyle." She stared at both of them.

They nodded seriously, forgetting that this was all a simulation.
