Chapter 3: The accidental meeting with an old lady
Diana move even closer into her dad's embarrasse as she circle her hands around her dad's back...
" I know dad, but I can't control my self when mom says all this. I know that she loves me too much just like you and want me to be happy...but her words make me feel pain. I know that I shouldn't be affected by it but still...it's the same situation wherever I come home. I guess I should just stop coming home. If she will not see me then she will not get angry "
Diana Tang said while hugging her dad. She was hugging tightly as if she is the coala her dad is the tree she need to glue with it. She was sounding sad too.
" There there! don't be sad my little baby. Dad is always here with you whenever you will need so why do you care about what mom says...think of it as she is singing a taunting song to you, no need to be too sad. But don't forget to come home whenever will get time "
Tang Shu break free from the hugged and look at his baby girl who is right now sulking so heavily as if she has got beaten by her mom for something that she hasn't really done on the first place.
He sigh and place grabbed Diana by her shoulder and look at her with loving eyes.
" Still sad? " He asked gently while looking at her.
" After hearing all this who can still be alright. but considering that she is my mother, I forgive her " Diana said while pouting but smile after seeing her dad's precious expression.
" Ok dad! I am not sad now...I think you should go inside and should handle your angry honey " Diana tease while laughing lightly. She can imagine that how much she will scold her dad when he will go inside.
Tang Shu then grabbed his daughter's ears as he look at her with smile on his face.
" Looks like your mom is pretty right, I have spoiled you too much"
Tang Shu can't do anything with his daughter. She is really just like her mother. Both has bad temper and need someone to control them, in other words both are too wild when it comes to their personality.
" Ok ok dad! I stop...I will not tease but can you please let go of me? my ear is hurting "
Diana said as she pierced her lips while smiling yet into crying in pain which is generating from the squeezing.
Tang Shu shake his head in defeat and sigh as she let go of her daughter's ear.
" Go now or you will be late for your lectures "
He said to her daughter because if she don't hurry up now then she will be late for the special lectures.
Diana look at the watch as her eye pop up and mouth open in shock as she realised that so much time has gone and she need to hurry up or else everything's gone...
" Dad! I have to go. Will meet you late when I will get time. And yes...take care of mom..bye bye "
Diana said in hurried as she is ready to run. After saying that Diana run from there.
Today is the special event in the collage and a very special guest is coming to give a speech...and she don't want to miss it.
Diana come running to the bus stop as she stop there. She was huffing heavily now...
She stop at the bus stop and is waiting for the bus to come. While waiting she take out her cellphone and was browsing the net when someone bump to her...
" Ouch " Diana cry in pain as she felt pain in her shoulder due to the bumping of a person. She look upwards and saw no one around her but a guy was going ahead...
" Huh? looks like young kids this days know no respect to the elders "
Diana felt really bad seeing that young kids this days don't even apologise to the person they bump into.
" But you are also young, so aren't they of your age? "
Diana get startled as she heard that unfamiliar voice. She turn to the side to see the person that spoke to her. And in front of her was a old grandma who was looking too lovely even with the aging...
" Nanna! you scared me to death "
Diana said as she rubbed her chest lightly and look at the grandma.
The old grandma glance at Diana for a quiet while as she analyse the girl from head to toe. Diana was surprised for a while as she didn't understand that what is this grandma doing actually.
The old grandma was looking at Diana like she is looking out for her grand-daughter or she is find a wife for her grandson.
Min Yi still didn't understand that what is she looking at with such a great focus.
If we talk about the appearance of the old lady then she is surely from the wealthy family that you can ever imagine. She has a diamond jewelery around her neck which can be bought by million of dollars. The clothes she had on her seems too expensive and can be bought by two months salary of Diana. Looking at her one can say that she must have been a great beauty in her days and hundreds of men must have court her but must have fail as she was someone who can't be brought up by money. Looks like she must have had a loving husband.
The grandma was still looking at Diana. Diana felt Little strange because someone is checking her out and it's not any boy or a girl but a old grandma.
" Such a lovely girl. Personality is also good, but does she has someone in her life? "
The grandma thought in her mind. But who is she exactly and what does she mean by checking her out?
" Such a lovely girl and is alone...where's your boyfriend "
The grandma finally spoke and this is what come out from her mouth. Diana was surprised for a moment but then she chuckle lightly when realising that what she was doing by checking her out.
" Nanna! you are actually too strange to asked this question to the girl you just met "
Diana said in laughing tone. Don't know how did she met this strange grandma...
This grandma looks like the gossipy type. Looks like she has so much interest in others private life. Diana laugh lightly as she heard what the grandma said. In her heart she does felt little pain but she actually like the personality of this old granny. But if it was to be someone else on old grandma's place who would have asked this question then Diana must have slap that person without the second thought.
" What's wrong with that? and I don't ask this question to anyone. You are the first "
That old grandma said in her gentle voice which was making her more sweet cute even in that age.
Diana definable has no mean to answer her and looks like the luck is also on her side today as she saw that her bus has arrived.
" Nanna! I should have chat with you for a longer but I am in a hurry today as there's important event today so I need to go. Let's meet in future if fate allows us to, Bye bye nanna "
Diana said and hurry to the bus as she is being late and so she need to hurry up. She get into the bus and saw that the old grandma is still looking at her while smiling brightly. Diana smile to her as she wave her hand as she was telling her goodbye...
The old grandma also wave her hand to say goodbye and she was smiling so brightly as if she was looking at someone who is closer to her. The bus start and Diana disappeared slowly slowly from her eyes...
" Such a lovely kid. Not like those young lady's that I have met till now...I will also look forwards to meet you again "
The old lady said in her mind as she recall the appearance of the Diana.
She was still standing their when someone approach her from behind.
" Mam! please come with us. You can't stay here in such a heavy hot day "
A person in a suite of a professional person reach out his hand as he asked for her to take her and in front.
" Yen Li! it's not that hot and who asked you to come here? didn't I already said that I will come back home by my own, Can't I have my day off? I also need a cheat day..."
The old grandma whine as she said that. She is tired living at home all alone everyday. She also want to spend a day like everyone and not just staying at home alone.
