"What the hell are you doing?" Neil asks with hatred evident in his eyes.

That pains Reign. It has always been painful for her to keep her feelings on her own. But this time, the pain is different with alcohol deep inside her and Neil so near to her.

Mixed with anger, the pain pushes her to kiss him again. But this time, she's kissing him as if she wants to hurt him, like a monster killing this guy who doesn't even know how to save himself. It doesn't help that she's tipsy. All she wants to do now is to let her body do the work. She just wants to let herself be, just this time. She's letting all the things she has been keeping in control for a long time be forgotten just for this moment.
