Chapter 6: CHAPTER 6
Still fighting for her life,Deborah struggled to dodge the quake demon,as it kept on charging at her.
"How long am I going to struggle? ",she asked herself.
She was now at the left side of the creature,due to the running and dodging.
She spotted something, that shaped like a spear,although it was a broken iron rod.
The quake demon turned to her again,so as to charge at her.
Deborah had no other choice, but to get hold of the rod and defend herself.
She waited for the creature to charge,so that she'll make her move,and it did.
It charged at her in speed,and she quickly moved away,rushed and grabbed the rod.
" Got it!".She turned back and got wiped to the wall,with the worms body.
Deborah was in pain,her back hurt really bad.
The quake demon turned to her side,ready to charge at her again.
That's when she remembered her grandfather.
When she was little, he had shown her some tricks and ways of defeating and enemy.
She quickly grabbed it and thought of using it on the creature.
She stood firmly with the rod on her hand,waited for the quake demon to charge again,which it did,and she quickly bent down,rolled over to the other side,stood up quickly and aimed for the head of the quake demon, like an arrow,using the rod.
The quake demon struggled to survive the attack, but died instantly.
Deborah breathe in,with a sign if relief, and sat down near the protector.
At that time, Reed was with some monsters, planning out somethings, when he noticed the silence everywhere.
"Strange!,the quake demon's done already?", he asked.
He looked at the cyclops and sent him to check.
The cyclops left the place immediately.
Reed was about to proceed,when the beasts,came in with Lucy and some girls,and said to Reed," What should this ones do master?".
Reed looked up at them,thinking of what they'll do.
Lucy on the other hand,was acting like someone who was possessed. Trying to get his attention.
Reed noticed her and asked her,"What is disturbing you madam?".
Lucy blushed and said,twisting her fingers like a shy girl,"Actually....,my hands are always twitching me,because.... I..I..,yes!,I always use it to massage people's body.So if there's no one to massage, it begins to twitch.But....",she looks at him with a seducing eye and said,"....I can give you a massage if you want it"She winks at him.
"Hmmm..massage?!
Not bad",he agreed,while Lucy and her friends were looking happy.
But their happiness didn't last long,when Reed said,"Take all of them to the monster chambers,make sure they massage all the monsters very well".
"What?!",they all screamed and faced Lucy in anger.
Lucy's plan had backfired, now she has to massage some irritating monster's body.
They took the girls away to the monster's chamber,and that was when the cyclops came in,looking scared.
Reed sat on his throne and asked,"Yes?,what's it?".
"Em...master?,I think you need to come and see this".
The way he sounded,made Reed to wonder what the problem was.
So he stood up and followed the Cyclops to the dungeon.
When they both got there,Reed saw blood,flowing out from the dungeon, where Deborah was.
He thought it was Deborah's own,and scoffed,looking at the Cyclops, "Is this why you're worried?", he said,shookng his head.
He walked further, to see if her body was lying on the floor, or is already in the belly of the quake demon.
But instead,he was shocked to see Deborah, sitting near the protector.
She saw him too,and stood up in fear,staring at him.
Reed stared back at her too,looking furious.
The Cyclops then said," She killed the creature master ".
" And so what?",he said,still focusing his attention at her.
Then he said to the cyclops,turning to face him,"Take her to the hall.Make sure she cleans the entire area of the hall. Make her weak".
"OK master",the Cyclops bowed.
He took a glanced at her,and said as he was walking away angrily, "She killed the creature... oh pls!,anyone can kill a quake demon".
The Cyclops opened the dungeon and dragged her out.
Deborah looked at the Cyclops and said,as he was dragging her away," From one dungeon to another? Can't you people just leave me alone?".
The Cyclops was still dragging her to the hall.
As they were going,Deborah was looking at all the statues of different Monsters, and Reed's own as well.
She saw different magnificent things and scary things around.
"This place is creepy ",she thought.
Finally, they got to the hall," Clean up this place".
"Wait!,what place?!",she asked,making sure it wasn't the wide and large hall she was looking at.
"This place",he pushed her inside the hall,handing out a mop and other cleaning equipments to her.
Deborah observed the hall very well,and saw that it could take her almost two days to clean,if she doesn't rest at all.
She frowned at the Cyclops, who then said,"Make it sparkling clean".
He turned to leave,when he heard Deborah say,"Someone as dirty as you shouldn't be talking about sparkling clean".
"What did you say?!!",he turns back in anger,as she quickly said to him,with a nice smile on her face,preparing to clean,"Oh I said...em I said that someone as dearly as you shouldn't be walking too much...and sparkling clean",she smiled,allowing her teeth to show.
The Cyclops stood like a tough person in front of her,and walked away majestically.
"Phew!!!,that was close", Deborah sighed with relief.
She looked round and began to weep,"Why me?.This hall is too wide for me to clean,and alone for that matter".
She had no other choice but to do it.
Meanwhile, at the forbidden forest,all the demons had gathered together for a meeting, concerning Reed.
How to eliminate him was their problem.
" If we want to eliminate him, we need the book",a giant with horns suggested. The others agreed too,but how to get it was another problem.
A lady,called ZIPORA.
Half woman,half snake,said,"Easy my friends.We'll sneak into the castle and get the book.Our armies would be fighting, while the others would be searching for the book".
"But Reed is sensible,so it won't be easy",a demon said.
They were all planning how to do it.
Until,a demon bat stood up and said,"Enough is enough.I'll go with my armies to the land.We'll cause havok,allowing Reed and his army to come out and fight.
But I won't be there on the battlefield.
I'll be inside,collecting the book",he smiles devilishly, along side the others.
"Tomorrow will mark our victory ".
Back at the castle,Some monsters had come to meet Reed,as he was going to his room.
They informed him about the next land,which planted a smile on his face.
" Very good.Tomorrow I'll be there to see how those people suffer in my hands.
I haven't forgotten them at all.
After all,they took part in trapping me then.
So they'll pay".
The monsters bowed and left.
Reed continued to walk to his room,when he stopped by the hall,and saw Deborah, cleaning the hall.
She was halfway done with the hall already, and it was night.
Reed stood to watch her,as she kept on cleaning, like it was part of her.
"She seem relaxed with this work.
No weakness at all.
No!,I'll make sure she's weak.
Too bad John isn't here to see his granddaughter take his punishment for him.
I would have love to see his eyes burn in grief",he said to himself.
He used his powers to turn the area that Deborah cleaned, very dirty,and worst than before.
Deborah, who had no idea of what was going on,was cleaning the floor,when she heard,"What are you cleaning? ".
She turned back and saw Reed,looking at her.
Then,her eyes came across the dirty floor,she was stunned," But I..".
"You what?
Cleaned this place up?
I don't think so.
Make sure this place is clean before tomorrow. No stains must be left",he turns and walks away happily.
Deborah watched him leave the hall.
She knew he was the one that did it,but what could she do.
Tears rolled down her eyes,as she went back to the beginning again to clean.
Her arms were aching her,and she was feeling sleepy,but no chance.
So she had to start cleaning again.
At the monster's chamber,the girls were all tired.
Their hands were sore,because they were massaging the body of the monsters there.
Others were resting, but Lucy was thinking about Reed.
The more she kept on thinking of how he stared at her,the more she blushed.
"Oh Reed!,your voice alone can make a girl go crazy.
As long as I'm here,you're mine forever.
No one can take you away from me,no one", she sighed,and laid down to dream about him.
