Chapter 2: Chapter 2: A Royal Ball
Jin's POV
Tonight is the night of the ball that is being held. I really hope that Y/N will actually try to have fun. From afar, she looks like a strong, intelligent, brave woman. But the more closer you are to her, you will see that she is weak, helpless, and full of sorrows.
I mainly had this ball arranged for Y/N, so she could feel free. She is like my little sister, I always tell her not to over work herself, but she always says the same thing. "Being a Knight is my duty. I have to do whatever it takes to protect the Kingdom and you. I vowed never to stop working." I was disappointed but proud. But right now she needs this ball. She needs to have fun and live her life.
Y/N's POV
Jin had a dress made for me to wear at the ball. I hated the thought of not being able to wear my armor and had to socialize with the other royals.

I've attended balls before, and made very small talk with other royals, but now I am commanded to socialize and have 'fun.' I am currently in the ballroom with Jin. More than 300 people are present at the ball room. With all the preparations for the ball, I didn't have time to find Him. I nudged Jin and whispered in his ear. "After the ball can I go look for Him?" As soon as I asked, he sighed. "If that's what you wish, then I give you permission to do so. But you're gonna have to complete the 'mission' I told you to do, and have fun. He said giving me a smile. "As you wish." "Now go, mingle." He said pushing me. "Ugh."
"Wait I forgot to tell you. You have to dance with people." Jin said with a smug smile. "What?!" I yelled at him. "If it makes you uncomfortable, I'll be your first dance." He said. "I hate this so much but fine." I said. Music began to play and we swayed along. "Wow you're a good dancer." Jin complimented me. "Thank You."
The music came to an end. I mentally cursed because I knew what was going to happen now. "Finally, now go talk and make a new friend." Jin said.
I was walking around until a beautiful young woman came up to me and greeted me. "Hello, I am Sunmi, Princess of Iksan." The young Princess said. "Hello your highness, I am Knight Lee." I said bowing. She gasped. "Are you the daughter of Lee Jin-ki? The famous Knight? She asked in awe. "Yes, I am his daughter." I said. "He must be very proud of you." She said. "Yeah, I hope he is." I said giving a sad smile. "O-oh I am so sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable." She said apologizing. "Oh no, not at all Princess. People come and people go." I said. "You are right"
We talked for about an hour, but her friend, Princess Chungha, took her away. I walked back to Jin. "I saw you make a friend." Jin said. "Yeah." But then he pushed me. "Make more." He said. I was walking around until I saw a young man. He looked as if he was trying to find something. "Umm, excuse me sir, do you need anything?" I asked him.
The man turned around after a moment. "Hello, I was just looking for the wine." He said. "Oh, I can get some from the wine cellar." I offered. "That would be lovely, um?" "My name is Knight Lee. Lee Y/N to be exact." I said. "Thank you Knight Lee. You look very beautiful this evening by the way." He said. "Thank you. Now if you excuse me, I shall go get you your wine, umm?"
