Chapter 2: Chapter Two - I Worship

You may be wondering what story I'm telling you and if it's relevant in some way, and quite frankly I have no answers for you, I just can tell you what I truthfully know. At a good pace I would prefer as it still confuses me on so many levels. But I've lived through this journey so I shall share a piece of me to you. I wonder if you'll do the same.

March 9th, 2073, is when the world had a change of heart, a change of responsibility. The experiment for hybrids have been prolonged for too many years, but scientists and researchers have finally had more promising results with a bigger project than they were expecting. There was protesting and reports saying it was a negative future aspect if this became ideal, realistic. But nobody at that time cared. There main project now was to develop and evolve a hybrid of mankind and other living organisms, whether it'd be other mammals, reptilians or even amphibians. The first few experiments were a failure and they were soon to give up on their hope. After 2 years they finally managed to have a successful hybrid of their creation. She was a beautiful sheep hybrid. Her hair was golden white and she always wore a red to express paleness in her skin. After a while of tests and treatments to create a healthy immune system, she got ill and passed away. She was remembered by then as just a failure yet again, but they reminded themselves that they were closest something big, at something important.

Experiment 112, successful as well. This time they tried binding males as they sought for a strength. However, he did not make it either. Nobody quite knew what he was since they wanted to tell everyone once it was completed, which is truly upsetting. Knowing myself, I love the history that comes with family and I cherish each and everyone of these experiments, everybody cherished them. They are what we worship.

Unfortunately all were a fail at some point of the experiment. But Experiment 118 was different. She was what brought hope to mankind, to bring a new meaning to science. As she grew up in the labs she did different tests than what the others did. They made her learn new mathematics, new languages, more than English which was weird but interesting. And she enjoyed it. But she was lonely. She had only those interested in her abilities, not her natural self.

They had more successful experiments, and for 118 she was a bit joyful to see that she wasn't alone and wasn't completely different from everybody else. She saw everyone with her round crimson eyes, and treated everyone kindly and softly. Her biggest strength was she wasn't feared by anything, but everybody else was.

She was a hybrid of an owl, with long darkened wings that were mysteriously beautiful, and her eyes were red as if she saw nothing but blood. They were calm, however, and were sweet to admire. What the story tells us all is that she was brave and beauty, nothing less.

She was my mother.
