Chapter 210: Decadence of Future

The silence was disrupted when a rumble of footsteps approached the bed. A muffled bang dropped in as my back fell on the soft cushioning. The creaking sound followed as Marvel climbed on top of me and placed his hands to cage both my sides.

The shoes lying here and there on the floor were ours. The crackling noise of flames devouring coals in the fireplace lightened the room. Even without the augment of heat, the air was already sultry.

Suddenly, my defenses were as flammable as those sparks, in which if Marvel ignited them even just with the slightest touch, they would burn without fail. I had melted into his form. I could feel his firm torso and the heart that beat within.
