The 3rd Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi had become just a shadow of his past strong self now but his love for the village forced him to attack his tasks as Hokage with a smile on his face .
The Nine Tails Attack , Minato's death and Uchiha's matter , he had too much on his plate but he had no choice to work himself until someone worthy of becoming the next Hokage appears.
Once again he was battling with paperwork that was one of his biggest enemies . Soon it would be night time and he wanted to relax which did not seem possible.
" Knock Knock .. "
" Come in ! "
Hokage said and saw his female secretary coming inside . He asked the reason and was surprised because it had been years since a small child came to visit him directly. Hokage loved all the Village children equally so he immediately agreed to meet him and see what matter would be troubling an 8 year old child to directly come for him instead of other adults.
Soon a small kid with sword like eyebrows came and Hokage could feel strong determination from him . This intrigued him a lot because the willpower was too impressive for a 8 year old child . The child was precisely Ren and he decided to not act conservative infront of Hokage because even though the old man had the highest authority but it was not Ren's style to fear it .
" Tell me eh... Raven , what's the matter you wanted to ask my help for ? "
" Hokage sama , I want permission to become Might Gai sensei's personal disciple from you. "
" Oh ? Personal disciple and Gai at that .. So do you also want to become a taijutsu specialist in future then ? "
" No ! I have talent for NINJUTSU, Genjutsu "
" So why Gai then ? I'm sure that there many other jonin sensei capable of teaching you"
" Ahem.. I want to train my body and inceese my chakra capacity first before starting practicing jutsu . Is my method wrong ? "
Hokage looked at Ren with a small smile on his face but inwardly he was having mixed emotions. He had finally found such a good seedling worthy of grooming but Ren's potential was limited instead. Still Hokage appreciated the fact that Ren knew the importance of strong body foundation at such young age without any external guidance. He had already decided to keep an eye out for Ren and definitely protect him from Danzo. His old friend was becoming more and more unruly since Minato's death and even he as the Hokage was lacking in power to suppress his actions slightly .
" Ren , I'm fine with giving you permission but you will have to promise me that you will attend academy classes like others in future too.. "
Ren instantly relaxed and started nodding back to back while his smile told that he was feeling happy inside .
Hokage wrote a letter and gave the scroll to Ren after using his personal stamp on it . Ren gladly accepted the scroll and gave Hokage a bow filled with respect . The Old man was little different from anime because he looked a little younger but he was still kind like in the anime . There were many theories of like Hiruzen being an actor who actually had a dark heart but Ren believed that to not be true and he was right . The Old man was wise but no man can be perfect and Hokage's weakness was that he had too much faith in his old friends which caused damage to the village in the end . Ren planned to help him this time and would never allow Orochimaru to kill him . In fact Ren hated Orochimaru so he planned to kill him for good during the future Chunin Exams .
Ren slowly walked towards the door but looked back because he heard a tired long Sigh from the Hokage as he started working on the huge pile of papers inside the room .
" Umm.. Hokage sama ! "
" Is there something else Ren kun ? Dont hesitate to rely on this old man for anything.. "
Ren smiled at the old man's behavior which looked no different from any normal old man from a small neighborhood.
" Cough.. I can give you an idea that will help you solve the problem of paperwork. So will you please listen to my request if you find the idea presentable ? "
" Sigh.. you are too formal for you small age kid ! Anyway , tell me your idea and I promise to to listen to your request if the deal seems alright to me .. Acting like a merchant at this age ? Ren , do you plan to open a business in future too ? "
" Hehe.. Yes , I plan to do many things in near future which will both surprise you and help the village . Now I can help the village by giving our Hokage opportunity to relax then. My idea is simple. I heard from a chunin that there is a jutsu called Shadow Clone jutsu in our village so now you can guess my intent better than me .. Hehe.. "
The Hokage went through strange surge of emotions in next few seconds. He became surprised then impressed then embarrased then started fake coughing to hide his embarrassment. He was impressed so it was time to fulfill the other part of the deal and as dignified Hokage , he would never try to cheat such a small kid anyway.
" What's your request then Ren ? Tell me , I promise to fulfill it unless it does not go overboard. "
Ren grinned at the response because his little plan succeeded.
" Umm.. I have two requests. One is beginner guide for Fuinjutsu and other one is to allow me to call you Grandpa from now on . What do you say ? "
" Hahahaha.. such a smart kid ! Okay , take this book and you are allowed to call me grandpa from now on but remember to give me face infront of others , Okay ? "
" Okay . Haha.. " Ren laughed as he ran away from the office feeling excited while holing a thin red book which had Uzumaki symbol on its back cover .
FUINJUTSU - BEGINNER GUIDE
Ren felt excitement because with this book he can easily get Level 1 Fuinjutsu Skill and save 500 Sp in future !
