Chapter 188: Day DXXII, part I
I started the day by finishing the food left in my backpack. There wasn't much, but enough for few bites. Then I went to look for Hatta. I found him in the tent, with Marcella. He was helping her to take care of the wounded.
- Good news - he said as soon as he saw me. - Nobuo woke up during the night. He healed himself, but not completely. The crystals we had prepared were not enough.
- I'll bring more.
- You could help with your magic too - said Marcella.
I nodded in response and started helping. I used most of the life energy on Nobuo, though.
- I want you to know that your help is appreciated by everybody here - said Hatta. - I know those last few days had to be terrible for you, and yet you are here, helping.
- You are also here and also helping.
- You know what I meant.
- I know... Hatta... I've been pushing it, but I believe it's time. I need to see her.
He sighed.

MasterHexer Hi! It's me again. How have you been?
I wasn't very active in the past few days, and that's because of the massive release that happened not too long ago. It made me find out a few things. For example, that writing 18 chapters in four days is quite taxing. I had to recover after that, but fortunately, I still was able to keep the regular schedule.
I wanted to give you that part of the story as a whole, and not make you wait. Ultimately it was supposed to be released as a second trier of subscription, and here I found out that I actually can't read.
Apparently, the subscription changes go live the first day of the next month, so we will be having another ten chapters (12 total) at the beginning of next month. This time though, I'm not gonna write them all through 4 days. I'll take it slower.
We also didn't reach 100 power stones by Friday, so there is no double release on Saturday. I'm kinda sad about it, but on the other hand, I could rest a bit more because of that.
I hope in the future we can make those double releases a regular thing, so please vote! The power stones are helping a lot!
I would also like to welcome a few new readers, that heavily supported the story by buying chapters and subscriptions. Thank you! I hope you are enjoying the story and will stay here for more.
On the other things, I slowly started working on a forum post with a few bits of writing advice I collected over the years. It would be nice to have a part in improving the quality of works posted on this platform. I'm gonna take it slowly though, and do my best in presenting this knowledge.
