Chapter 22: First day
Finally it was the day. Tomorrow was the day when George was going to school for the first time. He was admitted in 4th standard. He was really excited about that. He fell asleep imagining his first day at school.
Next day Joe took him to school. George looked very excited and happy. George reached school and wished Joe goodbye in hurry. Joe replied with a smile' take care'. He rushed towards his class. His class teacher Ms.Light was a slim and gorgeous young lady. She introduced George to the class and said that he is a new student from a village in another country. George was in a slight confusion but then he understood that this is a story made by Joe and Charlie.
Many students of his class were looking at him with kindness and a curiosity in their eyes but there were some who were staring at him. First class was mathematics and George knew every answer of teachers question. Teacher tried some difficult questions but they were a piece of cake for George.after that class a few sports students who weren't very good at studies thought that George is a geek who loves books and always stick to it.
But George was going to prove them wrong. Next class was gymnastics and students were going to perform high. Their coach Mr.Perry told students that till today no one is able to break Henry's record in jumps. Let's see is there someone who can do it now. Henry was one of George's classmates. He was tall good-looking and a complete sports guy.
Mr.Perry asked students to be in a line and jump one by one. Many students jumped, their maximum was 5 to 5.5 ft. And then a child came up. He was not so tall but good-looking with a nice hair cut and disciplined way of talk. He walked for high jump first, stood there for a moment took a deep breath and jumped. He jumped 5.5ft same as Henry's record. Mr.Perry was shocked from 3 years that record was maintained. Mr.Perry asked his name. Marty Adam, he replied.
Now it was George's turn to jump. He ran towards the pole and jumped without any break. He reached 6ft without any efforts. Mr.Perry wasn't able to digest the incident which just happened in front of his eyes. One student reached a record which was unbroken for 3 years and other one broke it and created a new one.
But someone who was more jealous than shocked was Henry he wasn't a really good guy. He was a bully and a cool dude with no control on his anger. It was lunch break. George was heading towards washroom. He walked inside and felt something wired deep in his heart. The very next moment he saw a girl washing her hands near basin. The girl turned around. She was the same girl to whome George met in the ground a few weeks ago.
That girl gave a shocked reaction and shouted, What are you doing here. George replied with a rude tone. Its my school,I am studying here. That girl was confused for a moment and then she said. Oh foolish I mean what are you doing in girls washroom. George wasn't sure about that. That girl shouted at him and said leave before anyone else come here and make you embarrass. George left in hurry and just outside he saw Marty.
Marty saw george and asked is that washroom. George gave a glimpse of smile and said that's not for us its girls washroom and I accidentally walked in. Marty started to laugh amd they walked to boys washroom talking about each other
