Chapter 13: Thankful to Y/n
*next day
I woke up early and cleaned the bakery along with unnie.
Oppa was upstairs, cleaning it along with Jin.
After sometime, we got everything set and unnie got our mother's photo.
It was our mother's death anniversary.
We lit a candle and held it for sometime and prayed silently. As I was praying, tears slowly poured down, silently.
Seok Jin put his shoulder around me and rubbed my hand, making sure everything will be ok.
I couldn't stand there anymore. I walked away from there and stood by the railings of the roof, and cried.
"Y/n." Seok Jin said and turned me around and hugged me.
"I am here for you. Don't worry." He said. I nodded and wiped my tears and realised I had wet his shirt.
"Omo! Your shirt is wet."
"It's ok. I don't mind." He said and smiled.
"If you are feeling better, we can get back to work. Noona will also be worried."
"Sure." I said and we headed down. I saw unnie worried.
I walked over to her and hugged her tight.
"Unnie, neomu neomu ghamsamidha. (Thank you very much)"
"Waeyo?" She asked.
"For everything you've done, till date. I am really grateful for you." I said.
"And I am grateful to have a sister like you. Let's get to work." She said and we both smiled and did our work.
Seok Jin accompanied me by the counter, while Sung-ho oppa and unnie were baking.
I was serving another customer, while another showed up.
"Wha-" Before I could ask, Seok Jin stopped me.
"I've got this." He whispered.
"Morning ma'am. What would you like to have?" Seok Jin asked.
"I'll have a chocolate mint cupcake, please."
"Is that all you would like to have ma'am?" He asked.
"Yeah." She replied.
"To go or here?"
"Here."
He took the cupcake and put it on top of a tissue paper and gave it to her.
"You can pay now or once you're done eating." He said.
"Thank you." She said and took her seat.
I just stared at him, thinking if it was the same Seok Jin I was with, all these days.
"What are you looking at me for?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said and continued.
"Tell what it is." He asked.
"You are better than me in this. I am actually jealous." I said. He just smiled.
"You are doing business better than me. And I still don't get why you called me for doing a seminar, while you are doing damn well."
"You now how business works. If you want your company to run good, you tend to take ideas from the company that has good sales."
"But you run a designer company and I run a bakery. You could've asked your fellow designer companies. How is it even related to mine?"
"When you want to buy a new dress, you ask random people on how to get a good quality cloth line. Likewise, when it comes to business, you don't need to see who to ask for help."
"You too have a point." I said.
The next customer was up and we continued our work.
*after sometime
It was lunch time and we all sat down and had some food and talked.
As we finished eating, the door opened.
"Hyung, what are you doing here?" Namjoon asked, as the others also came in.
"What are you guys doing here?" Jin asked.
"Hyung, why did you leave the company? Y/n noona, didn't you ask hyung anything about this?" Taehyung asked.
"Don't ask me anything about it. I have nothing to do with this." I said.
"Noona, how can you say this?" Jimin asked.
"What how can I? It is his life. I have nothing to interfere in this. Let him do what he wants. It's his life after all." I said and continued my work.
"Why are you here anyways?" Jin asked.
"We came here to get you back." Yoongi said.
"Your mother asked us to get you back to the apartment and the business." Jungkook said.
"*chuckles* Since when did my mother star worrying about me? If she wants me back, let her come and ask me." He said and continued his work.
"Yahh, at least show respect to the ones who have come here for you." I said.
"What on earth is going on here?" Unnie asked.
Unnie and oppa were both standing, confused as to what was happening.
"Unnie, it's nothing serious. You guys go rest for sometime. I'll take care of everything." I said and they walked upstairs.
"Why don't you guys have a seat, while I go get some dessert for you guys." I said and they all sat down.
I walked in and took a big tray and placed few cupcakes and glasses of juice.
"Why did you ask them to sit down?" Jin suddenly barged in and asked, out of the blue.
"Why?! They are your friends." I said and was going to get straws for the juice but got stopped by Seok Jin.
"Seok Jin, what is wrong in this?" I asked.
"They are here to take me back to hell. And I don't wanna go there." He said.
"Ok, you said that you wanted your mother to come in search of you. What if she does? Will you be willing to go when she comes?" I asked.
"Why do you ask that now?" He asked.
"Just answer."
"I don't know." He said.
"Then think this as a rehearsal. I hope you understand." I said and went to get straws and put them in each glass and headed out.
I put the tray down, on the table, and placed every item on the table. Seok Jin joined them and I left them alone.
I started cleaning the dishes and other things.

Seok Jin's POV
"So, tell me. What do you guys want to know?" I asked.
"Why you are here?" Hoseok asked.
"I didn't want to be with a person who was "only money minded". I don't like it." I said, double quoting the word, only money minded. Soon, customers were coming in.
The guys looked at me worried and pity.
"Guys, don't worry about it. I am fine and doing good here." I said and smiled, assuring them I was ok. They nodded.
I saw Y/n standing by the counter and ready to get their orders. I was about to join her, when she came towards our table.
"If you guys want anything else, feel free to ask." She said.
"And Seok Jin, you don't need to rush. You can talk all day with them." She said.
"Let me help you at counter. You'll be alone." I said.
"I have worked alone at the counter before you came. I can manage. Just take some time for yourself." She said and left.
I watched her walk.
"Noona is really the sweetest, I've ever seen." Taehyung said.
I just watched her work.
"Hyung, what are you looking at noona for?" Jungkook asked.
"Nothing." I said and sighed and looked back at them. They all were staring at me.
"What are you all looking at me for?" I asked. They didn't reply anything.
"I am really thankful to Y/n. If I hadn't met her, I don't know where I would've ended up. Anyways, I'll meet you guys by our place, later. I'll go help out Y/n." I said and headed to the counter.
I stood beside her and we both looked after the customers.
*at 6 pm
Noona asked Y/n and me to take rest for a while, since we've been standing continuously.
I was sitting by the bed, in my room, that I share with Sung-ho hyung and Y/n was in her room.
I was going through my phone and my phone rang. It was from my assistant.
"Hello, what is it?" I asked.
"Sir, is everything ok? You haven't shown up." He asked.
"My mother is taking care of the company. If anything ask her. Do not call me again." And I ended the call.
"Jin?" I heard a voice. I turned and saw a familiar face.
"How are you?" She asked.
"I'm doing fine.... until now." I whispered the last part.
"Seok Jin, Kookie asked whether you are free.... when...." She paused when she saw her.
"I'm sorry but this is area is not for customers." Y/n said.
"Well, I am not one." She said.
"Y/n, this is..." I said.
