Chapter 26: Chapter 21 ~RESCUE TIME~
Karmaria automatically shot an ice wave at Dabi and he barely dodged it, there were about 7 hero's, even Hawks, Todoroki, and Deku.
They all started fighting and in seconds Karmaria and Todoroki were getting her out of the chair and she felt like she should fight them but then she saw Karmaria's tears show and they both carried Phoenix out the door and shigiraki yelled as he ran away "don't forget what I said birdie!!!"
And she didn't forget but her sister asked: "what was he talking about?"
And Phoenix only shrugged and looked back at Dabi as he left to.
————————At the hospital—————-
"How is she doctor"
The doctor looked at his clipboard
"A few small broken bones that have been healing quite nicely, a few bruises, and some burns. Seems like they used a drug on her so that when she gets burned or her hair lights on fire, it actually hurts her."
Karmaria growled under her breath and mumbled "I'm going to kill him"
Todoroki hugged her and made her look at him, "everything is ok now, she's safe and it doesn't seem like she's evil"
They hugged and the doctor cleared his throat "not to ruin your special moment but we did find another drug that they injected her with"
Karmaria stopped and listened.
"A rare emotion confusing drug it's called a lot of different names but the main name is XXTaro, Meaning poison ivy"
Karmaria gasped "POISON!?"
The doctor quickly reassured her "it's not going to kill her, it just weakens her powers, for now, only bad thing is that when it wears off she might be a bit hostile"
Todoroki put his hand on Karmaria's shoulder
"And for how long?"
The doctor scratched his head and gulped seeing how Karmaria was
"That's the problem...we don't know how long she will be hostile like that, we were going to ask if we may have some blood and test on only her blood to find out, but needed some yes or no's from you and your sister"
Karmaria gasped "test on her!?"
The doctor flinched" no-no! Only her blood"
Karmaria inhaled to calm down and said "fine as long as it doesn't hurt her"
——1 hour later———
A nurse comes out of the room and says "she's awake and won't listen to us!"
Karmaria rushed in and just as she entered Phoenix was growling at everyone until she saw Karmaria and ran to her only to fall into her arms.
"There t-trying to inject m-me with something!? I-I don't trust them!"
Karmaria hugged her and hushed her
"I told them they could, there numbing your arm so they can take some blood and try and fix yo-"
Phoenix jumped away and fell "what!? I don't want more needles!!"
Phoenix curled into a ball and mumbled "not again, no more, I-ill be good, I'll listen please no more needles"
Karmaria looked at the doctor and nodded that she may help and do it.
Karmaria helped Phoenix back into bed and said "would it help if I did it? To show you that it's only me giving you it?"
Phoenix hesitated but nodded, Karmaria then took the needle and held Phoenix's hand with her other hand and looked her sister in the eyes,
"On three ok?"
Phoenix nodded
"1"
"2"
"3"
Karmaria injected her with the numbing needle and Phoenix tensed for a second then relaxed after feeling a wing brush against hers.
She was barely awake but saw that it was Hawks wing that brushed hers and she felt safe and waited for them to take her blood.
