Chapter 13: Dinner and Bad Omen
(Kassandra POV)
It was about 4pm, my date/dinner with Kara was scheduled for 8pm so I still had a decent amount of time to get ready, but there is a VERY big problem, clothes, I don't have a single outfit that is good enough to arouse a love interest, so I need to go shopping.
Thankfully this city is highly advanced for this time and I will definitely find a good one for me. The clothes I have in my mind are simple, yet hot and comfortable, (You know that guy from Eve's songs? He wears some kind of black sweater and relatively long black skirt with a white scarf and black boots {at least it's what I remember} her outfit will be something like that) and so my quest for my perfect outfit begun.
I went to the bathroom first, I might have ate something bad. While I was sitting waiting for something to come out, my mind was thinking about lots of things, what will she be wearing? How will our night end? Sex on first date? No, I want things to happen perfectly, so let's not rush things like before.
*RUMBLE* I felt an immense pressure on my body and immediately put my guard up, this is being caused by someone, or something, with a power this immense I think it's hard for a mere human to be causing this. The energy was hot so the chances of being a fire user is absurdly high. I ran out of the bathroom to check on Clementine and see if she was fine, to my surprise she wasn't even sweating "I guess only mana users can feel it, is she trying to find other Mages?" Like a lamp lighting up I remembered something Triss told me a long time ago
(Flashback time)
We were having dinner and talking about magic when we brought up the topic "Extremely Fucking Dangerous People"
"Listen Kassandra, there are a few people that you need to be careful with, their powers are so high that's impossible to calculate. By now I only know 3: Baekseo of the cigars, part of a race called Reapers, the only objective they have on life is fight and find someone stronger so they can give them their power, there's one or very rarely 2 of each element from this race, Baekseo represents fire. He has a twisted mind and considers himself the best in the world, that might even be true but Reapers normally don't fight among each other. The second one isn't human but just as dangerous. The Great Wolf Sif, a menacing giant wolf that measures over 10 meters tall, (30 feet, I think) carrying his 5 meter black sword given to him by his old master, Wolf Knight Artorias. Sif's power is Ice, specialized in close and mid ranged attacks, his long range spells lack in precision but have a large area of effect. The last one is Blanka, a green humanoid with long spiky red hair, 100% specialization in close combat, absolute master of lightning, perfect control over his magic, but, don't think that just because his magic is perfect, it doesn't mean that he has no physical strength, standing up he is about 3 meters tall with 6 tons of pure muscle mass, master of hundreds of martial arts, lived for thousands of years and never once stopped training. Just like the other 2 his location is currently unknown, but you need to be specially careful with Blanka, he is the one that not even you can win, probably."
(Flashback end)
This amount of mana and this heat, I am 90% sure that this person is Baekseo of the cigars 'Damn it! Just in the day of my date! Maybe I can reason with him so we can fight other day. What if he isn't here for me? Guess I will need to ask him' I put my spell on the room and left looking for him.
Outside the Inn a man in black with a dope hat was standing waiting for someone 'Guess he is looking for me' I walked to him and he glares at me
"Calm down, calm down, your names is Baekseo right? If you're who I think you are can't we just fight another day? Like tomorrow or after tomorrow? I have a date tonight man, come on. I promise I will give you the fight of your life" he seemed interested by my proposal
"Indeed, I am Baekseo, my objective here is to fight you, I wanted to do it right now but a date seems very important, if you want to fight tomorrow then it's settled, tomorrow afternoon in the woods, we both go all out, spare no power, use everything you got" He agreed much easier than I thought, I got nervous for nothing.
"Thanks dude, I will go there after I have lunch with my daughter tomorrow. But now I need to buy some clothes, see you tomorrow then" I think we both think of each other as weird people after this brief interaction
3 Hours later I was back home with new clothes for me and Clem, earrings, food and with a pissed Clementine again
"Where were you?" she said angrily
"I told you and left a note for you, I went to buy clothes for us. And I bought you sweets" I gave her the bag of candies
"I forgwiv you" she said with her mouth already full
"And I am sorry to say this but, I am leaving again in a hour for my dinner with Kara, do you have any problem with sleeping alone tonight? If I'm able to get here after we finish I will, but if we, you know. I will only come tomorrow early in the morning, I promise okay" I gave her my hand with my little finger to make a pinky promise "Pinky promise?"
"Yes!" I guess it's also her first time doing a pinky promise, she got happy by a little thing like this, it's nice to have someone to experience things for the first time together.
A hour later I was ready for my date and went to Kara's house to pick her up.
I knocked on the door and heard a her say "COME IN!" the door was locked
"THE DOOR IS LOCKED!"
"I'LL OPEN IT BUT DON'T COME IN UNTIL I SAY IT!"
"OKAY!"
She unlocked the door and I waited for her to ask me to come in. There were rose petals on the floor leading to the dining room, Kara was standing by the table's side, she decorated the table with candles, fancy plates. I walked to the table and she pulled the chair for me to sit
"Thank you very much" I said with my cool and sexy way
"You are welcome, Miss" she went to the kitchen to get the food, when she came her top was unbuttoned 3 buttons down and exposed her most of the upper part of her breasts, when she put my dish on the table, her chest was very close to my face.
'I wonder how this night will end...'
