Chapter 7: Chapter 7
-GENERAL POV-
Infront of the barrier that divides the outer and core area of the forest is a handsome young man whose wearing a black simple armor and a pair of fingerless gloves.
On his back is a four meter box type back pack. Oh his left and right waist are hanging two katana like swords, respectively the black and white dawn.
This is the first swords he created using the cores of the beast he found in the cave of the fire winged tiger.
-ROAN'S POV-
Looking around for the last time, I bowed my head to the outer forest. Why? Because this place taught me a lot on how to survive, provided me a place to sleep and eat.
You may think, why are you bowing to a place where you are trapped? Then I will say to you, It is because this place is like a mother who taught me how to survive and be able to fight and get stronger.
After Bowing, I turned around and entered the barrier without looking back, this will be the start of my new adventure.
-GENERAL POV-
After fully entering the core area, Roan touched the barrier but felt a repulsive force puahing hand away with three tines the force he used to touch it.
"So my assumptions are proven, entering is easy but going out is almost impossible".
This made him amazed and curious but left it behind his mind.
What shocked him was the qi density, it's three times more abundant than the outside area of the forest.
Then he saw bones of beasts all around ,who tried to get out of the barrier but was killed by the backslash of attacking it.
Unknown to Roan that human bones are also there hidden by the huge bones of beasts.
Roan saw the towering trees, which are more than eight meters thick and hundred meters in height.
He created a hole beside the tree and burried his backpack. He decided to scout the place and look for a temporary hideout.
-ROAN'S POV-
After i temporarily burried my backpack to hide it, I silently jumped to the branches while I scouted the place.
I am now hundreds of meters away from the barrier. i am starting hear howls of the beasts that are living here and i can feel that they are not weak.
And this is just in the outer layer of the core area. So, how strong are beasts living in the inner layers of the core area?
Thankfully I can stealthily move or else, I will surely be entangled by this beasts, from every direction, I can also see beasts figthing one another, this place is a real war zone.
Three kilometers away from the barrier, I saw a cave that is hidden by four huge trees, a natural fortress if I may say.
This cave is so huge and long, an hour had passed but I haven't reach the end of it.
After another forty five minutes, I finally reached the end of it.
What I saw made my jaw opened wide. This place had a huge metal door. Ten meters in height and five meters wide.
I tried to push it but nothing happened then I pushed it with all my strength but it didn't even buldge.
I used my sword with full power and nothing happened. This is really a tough one.
Trying everything I can, until my qi is depleted and my stamina had reached its end, still nothing happened.
"what kind of steel door is this? is this realy just a steel or something else?
I said, a little frustrated, this means that the one who made this is hundreds of times stronger than me.
After resting for a while, I decided to set this place as my new hideout. So i return to the boundary of the outer and corea of the forest to get my things that i hid.
After five hours, i finally got my things and reached the cave once more and now I am going to set up my base infront of this metal doors.
After setting my hideout, I decided to readjust the size of the entrance of the cave to that of a normal house door.
After setting up traps and some strings as a way of an alarm for any intrusion from the outside, I decided to rest before venturing outside early in the morning.
Then I fell asleep as soon as i laid down on my newly made bed with the stacked dried skins of beasts that I stored in my backpack

-GENERAL POV-
Morning of the next day Roan decided to make a new plan, he decided to hunt some food to eat first.
So After cultivating for a while, he went out and hunted beasts that are weak quickly to not alarm other beast.
On his way back, he saw groups of beast in different places, it's like they are preparing for something.
Strong beasts that are strong as the fire winged tiger are leading lower rank beast. Dozens of groups to be exact.
Roan went back to the cave and cleaned the beast he caught. He picked it up and roasted it two miles away from the cave.
He quickly devoured the roasted meat and burried its bones and the woods he used to roast the meat, then fled.
He has no reason to exposed himself to the beasts, so he is like an assasin that hides from the shadows and attack when the time comes.
For this past three weeks, Roan had finally adjusted and cleared some areas. He still didn't dare to enter the inner layers of the core area.
He will go there after fully settling his bases, he needed places to retreat when the time comes.
Finding human civilization is his second priority, having the power to protect oneself is his first priority.
-ROAN'S POV-
It's been a month since I entered the core area and now i have settled other bases for retreating if I needed to do so.
I decided to scout the whole outer layer of the core area of the forest before deciding what to do next.
So i went my way and searched every area I could, what i found are destroyed settlements of some fortress, giving me the hope that i am not alone, but i didn't made any impulsive decisions.
After scouting five kilometers, I found higher levels of beasts that is really a threat to me, so i went back to start cultivating and raise my realm.
Having higher realm will give me higher chance of being able to survive, until I found humans.
Thankfully, the qi is tripled, making my cultivation three times faster. After another three months of culitivation, I reached level 16, but still I continued cultivating until i reached level 20.
Eight months since entering the core area, i found myself in a bottleneck.
When i tried to breakthrough, I felt something big will happen so i went back near the barrier for safety porpuses.
After sitting in lotus position, I started to cultivate and breakthrough.
When I succeeded in breaking through to level 20, the first lighting tribulation falls down directly to me, thankfully my body can still stand it, nine more falls down on me in succession making me tremble.
-GENERAL POV-
Lightning directly falls to Roan's head, after ten continues lightnings, then it stoped.
Every tens of lightning combine creating a new stronger bolt of lightning. The falling once again slowly destroying Roan's armor.
After a minute, another ten combined lightnings combined once again creating red lightnings, tens of this red lightning bolts falls directly once again to Roan's body, directly destroying his armor.
His body is being destroyed while his healing ability keeps on healing him. His body art is nearing another breakthrough.
The tens of red lightning combined once again, creating blue ligthnings. Tens of this kind poured once again. Roan roared and gritted his teeth, blood is pouring out of his mouth, his organs are bleeding and being destroyed, his healing ability keeps on healing him but the damage is bigger than it can heal.
Roan slashes the next lightnings using the black and white dawn swords. The swords absorbed the lightning tribulation strengthening them but the other excess lightnings are still so strong that makes Roan question his life but his dragon like pride won't let him backdown to the challenge, it materialized and roared to the heaven.
The Tribulation all combined to one last lightning that turned to a black dragon. It roared and descended directly to Roan.
Roan roared and the gritted his teeth while bleeding all around, his blood shutted golden red eyes are glaring to the heaven.
Roan activated all his power and forcefully countered the descending black dragon lightning that is drawing near to him.
"BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!"
One powerful explosion destroyed five kilometers around him, the barrier near him absorbed the other excess lightning lessening the threat to Roan but still the power of it destroyed Roan's flesh, organs and bones.
His body cultivation broke through at the same time, reconstructing roan's body. His destroyed and scorched burned body is being reconstructed thanks to his self healing and body cultivation art.
His whole body is undergoing reconstruction, then threads of golden qi wrapped around him like a cocoon, protecting him from any danger that will mistakenly entera its range.
Fear lingers to the beast around who had fleed the areas affected as soon as they felt danger, they didn't dare to approach the area where the tribulation occured because of fear.
The beasts of the inner core area felt it but they just ignored it, thinking that no one will survive that tribulation. For them, the one who faced it was really unlucky, no one will survive that, it happened so many times but no one ever survived it.
Another three months had passed and the cocoon slowly opened and a naked handsome youngman whose hair all turned to silver came out from it.
His naked body is so perfect that if anyone sees this view, they will all lost their minds because of how perfect his body is, beside him are two swords which trembled when he picked them up.
He absorbed the golden qi threads and formed a black long sleeve and black pants, then it formed to a sandal. His qi is suppressed to the maximum that you will not even feel his presence. After a single step, he vanished and everything turned quiet.
