Chapter 4: Prologue 4: Mountain Clans Hospitality
The Crystal Peak clan was a large clan as it had been years since they had settled in them dating back a couple thousand years.
The Clan had learned different ways to build their homes such as from the outside one could see many large sized holes in the mountain that seemed to go deeper inside.
The man leading SilverMoon Clan to the Mountain, who they have come to learn was named Levi, led the clan to a large clearing from the snow and trees
Near the mountain. Before they reached the island they were met by a large wall that seem to be created of Stone with towers made out of wood mounted on it. The gate like entrance had the skull of a massive mammoth type beast mounted on the top of the gate with its Tusk running across the Ground creating an intimidating scene.
As they neared the gate, they weren't stopped as
Levi had sent a arrow signal of their arrival. But that didn't put the Crystal Peaks clan to rest as they were on if such a large group of people would try something. As they stepped through the gates they were met with thousands of large tents in what seemed to be set for long time use as all of them were extremely thick Furs on them. All the tents had a Crest of a Mountain peak glittering at its peak of their side signifying the Crystal Peaks Clan emblem.
As Levi led the Clan deeper the tents grew denser until the reached a stone building formed in a square covered by a wood roof slanted slightly from the back forward. These building grew in number until they reached the back of the cluster of buildings and tents.
There they saw a huge cave entrance which was 20 feet tall, 10 foot wide while that had torches on each side giving light enough to see a path leading deeper.
Guarding the entrance were 2 Barbarians with circular shields with saber like swords hand. Before entering Levi turned to the group and spoke
" The Clan head and leader live up there" he pointed to the top of the mountain and spoke again
" so we must climb towards the top through the mountain in order to reach it. You Clan leave your people in the guest tents while the clan leaders come meet our elders" he said and the SilverMoon clan accepted and settled the group before moving up the mountain.
Kami was still holding Dane as they moved up the stairs. She was currently breastfeeding him while they moved as he nibbled and sucked on her pink nipples to get the milk. Rog-Thane, Dalm, and the Elders all moved up together and soon after about 30 minutes of walking through corridors of rooms and up many stone stairways they reached a larger than usual corridor down a hall that had a massive metal door being guarded by armored Barbarians that carried Glaives in full battle attire.
After Levi made themselves known and about the visitors one of the guards went to report before returning back and the two armored Barbarians in unison turn to the door and push it open wide letting the group enter before closing the door back.
On the inside Sat 7 individuals, 4 of which were elders and the other 3 were youths. The 2 of the elders sat on more elevated seats, one man, one woman. After moving a few steps forward Salem stepped from the group and spoke " greetings From SilverMoon Clan to CrystalPeak Clan." He said performing his clans solute with a slight bow
One of the CrystalPeak Clan leaders stood and returned the Greeting before sitting back down. And soon the clans began negotiations and a couple hours later they came to an agreement that if they were to cross and find land they had to trade the info with the Mountain clans first.
Soon three days pass and the caravan are back on the move but this time they must travel through the mountains and so they changed their mounts for a large lizard time mount called a Kapa which are useful for traveling in the mountains on their slanted and rocky terrain. The travel through the mountains was safer and easier with the Kapa as they didn't run into many Ice Trolls or Orcs.
The Travel through the mountains Lasted 3 months before finally they reached the Snow Dunes of Exile and after saying farewell to the Mountain clans, they began the Journey. The journey was extremely gruesome as before they finished the journey they ran into a problem, food reserves were depleting fast and they were starting to lose members due to the cold. So they speeded up travel and soon saw something in the distance.
It was a lone mountain, since the clan was desperate for good shelter they went towards the Mountains.
