Chapter 91: Mother Mo To The Rescue
Dark circles formed under his eyes, he had been really tired lately. Not only he had a lot of work to do but he needed to watch over Lu Jingyi too.
He didn't want to leave her side. He wanted to witness her wake up and let him be the first person she see when she open her eyes.
Although he was tired, he continued to do so.
Then, he heard the door opened. He saw Mother Mo coming in with some food in her hands.
"Mom, what are you doing here?"
"If I didn't ask Assistant Yan, I would not have known my son didn't eat much from morning till evening."
"Mom, it's fine. I'm not hungry."
"No, it's not. Look at you. You looked fatigue and I can even see your panda eyes. You have to eat. I brought dinner. Eat it and go home and rest."
Mother Mo couldn't stand watching Mo Zhexuan like this. He looked like a sick person.
"If you want to take care of Jingyi, you better watch your health. You don't want her to see you like this, right? She may blame herself for making you worried. And you look hideous too like a zombie. Don't worry about the girl. I'm going to watch over her too since I had nothing to do."
Hearing what Mother Mo said, Mo Zhexuan agreed to go home, rest and wash up.
He didn't want to scare her with his face.
"Thanks, Mom."
Mo Zhexuan proceeded to hug Mother Mo and she hugged back.
Then, Mo Zhexuan left the hospital. Before he went home to rest, he called Assistant Yan to handle everything before he come back.
After calling Assistant Yan, his phone rang. When he saw the number, he immediately accepted it.
"Have you found him?"
"No, but I found some traces. And the traces I found was all over the place. That guy is pretty witty. He jumped place to place not letting us track him."
"Just keep tracking him. Call me if you find anything."
"Oh. And one more thing. Your brother looked like he's about to die. He kept murmuring 'Wenwen' while working and pissing off. Is Wenwen his girlfriend? Are you preventing him from seeing his girlfriend?"
Mo Zhexuan was speechless. He told Mo Zhexi to help tracking the enemy but never told him that he can't get off work. Did his IQ have a problem?
"..... I didn't prevent him from seeing her. Sighed. Tell him that I gave two days off for him."
"Alright. By the way, how's your fiancée doing?"
Mo Zhexuan's expression changed when the man asked about Lu Jingyi's condition. He just hoped Lu Jingyi could wake up soon.
"She's fine."
"Okay. I hope you're not stressing yourself too much. Your brain won't function well if you're too stress. Haha..."
Mo Zhexuan heard a sarcastic tone from the man and he was irritated.
"Mind your own business. Get back to work."
"Fine. Fine. I'm off."
After hanging up, Mo Zhexuan actually felt better after the man which was his friend pissed him off.
By the time he got back, he was tired as hell. He decided to have a good rest so that he will have the energy to watch over Lu Jingyi.
Mo Zhexuan went to the bathroom to wash up. He looked in the mirror and saw how hideous he looked.
After that, he went to lay on the bed. The moment he laid on the bed, his eyes were too tired and closed. He immediately fell into a deep slumber.
