Chapter 118: Luo Yixuan
Morning.
Lu Jingyi had peaceful days after the incident. At least she didn't encounter any problems.
But today, Xu Wenwen and Lu Jingyi had to pick up someone from the airport.
She went to the bathroom to wash herself, get dressed and got ready to go. Lu Jingyi and Xu Wenwen had breakfast together outside. They even went window shopping waiting for the time to go to the airport.
When it was one hour before one in the afternoon, they took a cab to the airport. Along the way, both of them were excited to meet their old friend which was their senior in high school.
As they arrived at the airport, they found a place to wait upon their senior. But then, they heard someone calling them.
"Jingyi, Wenwen, I'm here."
Both of them saw it was their senior who they're waiting.
"When did you arrive? It's not even one o'clcok yet."
Xu Wenwen first sentence to him was a question why did he arrive earlier than expected.
"The flight was unpredictable. You can't blame me for it, right? I didn't know you guys arrive
earlier. I was just about to call you guys that I arrived early. But then, I saw the two of you went to sit here. And so, I came to find the both of you."
"Come on, Wenwen. Senior is tired from the flight. He can't be standing and talk to us. Let's go somewhere sit down and talk."
"Okay. Hm? Who are these guys behind your back, senior?"
The two men were wearing black all over their body. Black suit, black tie, black hair and black sunglasses.
"Oh, right. They're my bodyguards my family sent."
Luo Yixuan then turned around facing the bodyguards and asked them to take his luggage to his house and they needed not to wait for him. He will spend time with Lu Jingyi and Xu Wenwen.
"Where shall we go? Do you have a place in mind, senior?"
"I want to eat the wanton noodles that's near our high school. I'm craving for it. It's been a long time I've been able to eat. Does it still open?"
"Yes, it's still open. I'll call a cab here."
"Wait, Jingyi. My bodyguards left a car here for me to drive home. I'll drive us to the location."
"Sounds great. Wenwen and I also brought presents to you. You can have a look when you get home."
"Okay. Then, shall we go?"
Both Lu Jingyi and Xu Wenwen nodded. The three of them got in the car where Luo Yixuan's bodyguards left for him.
Luo Yixuan drove to the location near their high school and parked somewhere near the wanton noodles stall.
The three of them got down and the smell of the savory wanton noodles soup entered their nose. Yumm.....
"It's still smells great like I remembered."
Luo Yixuan was starving after smelling the aroma of the food. The three of them found a table sat down and ordered.
After a few minutes, the lady who cooked the wanton noodles served the food to them. Three bowls of wanton noodles with roasted pork.
They couldn't wait any longer and they digged in immediately. None of them spoke and just ate silently. They savored the delicious food in front of them.
After finished eating, they started to chat.
"So, Senior, you said on the phone that you came back to inherit your family business, right? Why did your familiy want you to come back and help with the business?"
Xu Wenwen couldn't contain her curiosity anymore. She wanted to know and therefore she didn't hesitate to ask.
