As I ran as fast as my small legs could carry me through the empty park which I once was so familiar with the cold air filled my lungs causing me to gasp and stop in my tracks even though my mind wanted me to keep running so badly. On edge I was glimpsing around as my eyes darted around examining my surroundings like a deer after hearing a branch snap in the distance.
My ears alert for noise to know if he was still chasing me or if I had lost him through the moist , dark tunnels,the sudden snap of a branch alerted me that I was not alone and caused my fight or flight response. I was done running from him from the man I loved I was running away from Xander . His voice let out a small chuckle and I feel his smirk burning in the back of my head but before i could even turn around to face him to face my capture there was a sharp unexpected pain on the side my head , i touched my dry black hair with my numb fingertips to be greeted with the cold wetness of blood. I fell to the ground as the impact of the object had taken its toll on me causing my sight to be fuzzy as I lay there he stood over me. His dark brown hair hanging over his jawline while his deep brown eyes look at me with anger and hurt...how could I expect him to have pity for me he was ruthless and how could I blame him for the anger he has in his eyes after I betrayed his trust betrayed his love and his heart that was only opened for me ....but this wont make sense not unless I go back , back to a time where my life was boring and made sense when I wished for an adventure now I wish to be at home on my couch snuggled with my dog ...feeling sorry for my life and questioning my purpose
