Chapter 2: CHAPTER ONE.

Cristobal awoke to movement, the something slide into place. he got off the bed his feet landed on rough ground but smooth one too. he picked his shirt and glowed his eyes, the wall in front of him sunk slowly to the ground. he walked out and met his friend he lived with or who lived outside his cave return. he looked at him with an easy smile as his eyes turned to blue again and asked, "sneaking around again?"

"Yeah, I got you shoes," Martin replied to him removing his bag from his back setting it down on the stone table before them.

"what for? You know very well he won't allow me outside the cave," Cristobal replied sitting on a stool he had there on his hidden cave.

"but now you have a chance to escape from here," Martin said opening the bag removing the boots for him.

"why do you think so?" he asked examining the new boots closely.

"your father, our alpha is under scrutiny at the moment. many knew that his wife or his destined one passed away and she was pregnant. at the moment, the were council, you remember what I said they are, right?" Martin asked him.

"yes, I do, go on," Cristobal replied still feeling the boot leather.

"they sent some wolf guards, they know somehow you are here, they are searching," Martin said removing some clothes, "put these on, you have to run from here," he added.

"you are coming right?" he asked Martin still with his calm manner as always.

"I can't if I do, they will follow me. they have my scent, not yours, yet. speaking off, get a move on." Martin replied and Cristobal though hesitant changed and Martin helped him with the shoes, "listen, this bag has a few clothes for you and money. one please do not get carried away at all. use the money wisely. head south from here. there is another pack. hidden, once there find a wolf shifter like you and ask for Daniel, tell him Martin sent you. he will be waiting. there is an old alpha there, he will know what to do from there. take buses only." Martin explained to him.

"will you come later on?" he asked him again.

"yes but not today. now come on," Martin gave him the bag. he opened the boulder aside and escorted him out, "we don't have time, they are almost here," holding his wrist he directed him through the thick bushes in the forest as he mesmerized by everything he was seeing and feeling and they came to a road.

"what this?" Cristobal asked touching the road which was tarmac.

"paved road," he replied as a bus stopped beside them, "come on," he pushed him inside, "driver, drop him on the express bus stop. please make sure he is on the next bus south to bridge town in time." Cristobal sat down still looking around, "head south, I will be there once I am done here," he nodded and waved bye to them.

Cristobal loved every second of the journey new buildings and the what trees and houses. he only knew them from the pictures from Martin he used to show them in the cave when he came to visit.

the bus came to a stop, "come with me," the driver told him. he followed him and to another bus, "drop this guy in bridge town, he is now," the driver nodded, "get in, you will pay once at your destination," he got in and waited.

six hours later, they arrived and he got off looking around, "Cristobal? tall blue-eyed," Cristobal turned to the one who spoke he was on the phone walking towards the stage, "I think he heard me. yeah, he is okay," Cristobal walked towards him still calm.

"Daniel?" he called him.

"yes, get off the phone idiot!" he answered then ended the call, "don't let wander off, why?" Daniel asked looking up, Cristobal wasn't there, "eh!?" Daniel searched around frantically and he saw him next to a bike, a sports bike observing it.

"like the bike?" someone asked him getting to its side.

"yes," he replied.

"Yeah, I love it too. older it gets, more priceless it gets," he replied and eyed the wolf, "you want it for yourself?" he was asked

"what for?" Cristobal asked him, "I am faster than this bike," he replied and walked back to Daniel who was looking at him with hands to his waist, "why are you fuming?" he asked Daniel.

"fuming?" Daniel asked him.

"yes, you are this close to having smoke escape from your ears like a train from the 1770s," Cristobal replied and laughed at Daniel face of anger, amusement and laughter all at once, "ah, the angry grandmother look, let me guess, lecture, let's hear it. I am very patient," he added.

"Cristobal, this way," Daniel dragged him to a car. another hour on the road and into a pack compound, "grandfather? elders, the new arrival is here," Daniel announced walking into the mansion with Cristobal looking up behind him at how the big the house is.

all the elders gasped when he walked in, "oh hi, um," Cristobal paused then bowed, looked up and saw a cat behind one of the elders, "kitty!" he went past the elders and to cat petting it sitting down on the couch.

an elder dragged Daniel out by force, "you idiot!" he was scolded, "you let him walk around, during the day with that presence of his!?" he was asked.

confused Daniel replied, "it was overnight but he arrived midday today. besides the council is looking for the guy,"

"idiot!" he got a small punch on the head,

"what?" he asked cluelessly.

"his presence is of an alpha. alpha with a locked aura, do you have any idea how valuable he is?" he asked him angrily.

"well, now I do," he replied.

"make sure his room is ready," he said to him.

"you are Cristobal right?" an elder asked him.

"yes," he replied turning to him, "Martin sent me here. he did not explain why," he added.

"that is fine. we shall as we go on slowly." an elder informed him as he resumed playing around with the cat.

on the other side, "alpha, the cave it's empty," a wolf told him. this was three days later.

"what do you mean the cave is empty?" he asked him angrily, "how did he get through my lock spells!?" he asked him angrily.

"alpha, they were all broken. brute force," the beta wolf Amos answered back.

"brute force? he got through my lock spells, the best on this earth, and he used brute force?" he paused almost impressed, "I doubt it. he doesn't have abilities or skills. strength from his wolf alone cannot be enough. no, someone helped him." he turned to the wolf, "find the second wolf there, he couldn't have done it alone," Amos bowed and left the office.

he got to his home and turned to Martin, his brother, "we have to go, and now," they took their bags and left that very night.

one wolf saw them but shrugged and resumed his gatekeeper duty surfing his YouTube page.
