Chapter 25: A Goblin leader is born
The cocoons have wrapped the Horde leaders. The cocon itself feels hard, impossibly unbreakable and yet Reku's old hands have never felt a softer material she is sure of that.
It also makes her running her hands down the cocoon, each she can make out three distinct, thickness. The bottom is extremely thick and the least forgiving. Her mind forming ideas, patterns growing into clothing. Unlike any seen before.
The middle part of cocoon is similar to silk but with indentations in it. Her goblin gibbler tingles like never before. A feeling of extreme possibility and excitement. Her gibbler like in goblins is related to her talent. It natural allows her to find and sometimes understand rare materials. Her Buba on her father's side use to tell stories of how goblins were once equal to the other races infact all monster. He thku could never explain what happened just that it was his talent to remember those who came before and tell their stories.
Reku has felt the urge to tailor since she was a gurb and that is a very long time ago. "I will look out for all of you. There is something special about the lot of you. Especially you boy, you remind so much of him. This time will be different this old lady will help you make it so."
Reku is standing in front of Tau's cooccon when she says this. She has been talking to all of them to pass the time. It has been a busy three days. With most of the Get finding out that their is a possible boss soon. Has most looking to meet and of course butter up the new leaders of the Get. Even the possibility of it has most of the goblins greedy with desire.
The only thing she did was to ask that any gifts brought have to be long lasting, food especially in their current state is useless to her new bosses. There are four hovels currently surrounding them each filled with grains, seed, herbs and raw minerals. The small raiding parties put together in normal groups of fours have also been doing quite well. Reku has tried her best with aid of her husband to keep the things steady.
Thou after three days even some of the blood Fists are starting to doubt she is capable. Since the first days the black bloods have been asking for a meeting with Gcina so that they be assigned. They are very eager to all prove themselves useful. Some foolish blood Fists are thinking that they should kill the leaders and take now. Reku killed that goblin dead then and there. Sinto was a fervent supportor of Raul and was keeping his memories around which would only have fractured an already fragile group. Reku had actually done it herself, cut his throat with a sheering knife. It has been a very long time since she felt strong about anything and her scent has changed to one of vigor and purpose.
The only two problems she has had no way of solving is the return of the Rover leader and what to do with the all the goblins showing up. She is not actually a leader and can't make any lasting decision. She rubs her head on Tau's cocoon it's the warmest by far and she like to rest there when she gets a headache.
She can feel the slight movement of Tau inside, the say way her husbands moves when he is sleeping. She lies there thinking about how to handle the Rover leader.
Tau finishes his dream, it was a unique and dangerous dream. He can't quite remember the details but his scent tells him all he needs to know. Inside its so dark he can't see his hand in front of him. There is a barrier all around his body he moves freeing his hand. He pushes through the barrier.
Reku stumbles to her feet as a hand green than dead goblin on harvest day thrusts out of the cacoon. Tau then pushes out his otherhand ripping the cacoon. He walks out of the cacoon. The others are stirring to thou struggling a lot more than Tau to get out especially Oda. His whole cacoon is moving violently. Heaving up and down at points.
Reku is stunned by the handsome goblin in front of her. Tau still his shade of green is now one point two meters tall. With long black hair. His eyes are a dark red maybe even ruby. No her old eyes focus taking in every inch of him. He is lean, his eyes are several reds getting brighter at the center. He is very lean and muscular. His lower incisors visible as they stick his mouth with making look like his teeth are to big for his mouth.
He is a rippling figure of craved by the moon good himself. Tau scent is powerful, not that it wasn't before but now it's concentrated more harder to smell but if you know what your looking for definitely much stronger than before.
Tau immediately recognizes his home, the dream must have lasted much longer than he thought. The others are coming he didn't have to turn around to know as the Horde leader his lieutenants are connected him. He moves his hair back.
"Most holy one!" Reku saw no matter how small they are she definitely saw them. They are the horns. They are a symbol just like the small tattoos on his chest four symbols. Reku has never seen before.
"How long was out for Reku." Tau can feel he should be about as strong as a normal human being now which means he is at least four times stronger than a normal gobo and half as strong as an elf.
"Just three days only..." Reku tried to explain further but Tau raised his hand to silence her and then he said.
"Call all the band here, we have work to do." Tau smiles as he sits his hovel waiting on his mob to come out. As soon as they do he will begin. Especially since in just popped a message from the Horde system.
