Chapter 39: CHAPTER - 39 { Sudden Glimpse }
"Damn, " Standing in front of the huge pokemon, Kota exclaimed.
Aerodactyl, a rock/flying type pokemon. It is known as the Fossil Pokemon.
This one in particular was extremely big in size compared to the one shown in the pokedex
The pokedex showed that Aerodactyl should be about 5.3 meters in height.
But here Kota looked at the Aerodactyl that reached the height of 6.7 meters.
"It's scary, " Muttered Kota, he pulled out three of his pokeballs from his waist belt.
"You guys, finish it fast, " Said Kota, he threw the three pokeballs in the front.
With the three white lights, Scizor, Shiny Onix and a big purple pokemon came out.
Nidoking, a poison/ground type pokemon. It is known as the Drill Pokemon.
"Gengar!"
Gengar looked at the four of his friends and showed a grin to Aerodactyl.
"Do what you want to. Just get me this pokemon, " Said Kota, he stepped back to not get in the way.
"Scizor!"
Scizor nodded his head and extended his wings as he flew in the air next to Gengar.
"Oaaa!"
Onix roared and stood in front of the huge Aerodactyl like a monument.
"Nann!"
Nidoking slammed his palms on his chest and walked towards Aerodactyl.
While Kota's pokemon were getting ready to attack, Aerodactyl was annoyed.
"Aeeee!"
With a loud cry, Aerodactyl flew in the air.
Supersonic!
But there was not much effect on Kota's pokemons as they were trained pretty well.
"Scizor!"
Scizor closed his claws together and shot a ray of Hyper Beam at Aerodactyl.
"Gengar!"
Multiple Shadow Balls were also thrown towards Aerodactyl but all dodged.
"Aeee!"
Extremely angry, Aerodactyl flew at Scizor and Gengar with Quick Attack.
*Boom*
A Hyper Beam came from Aerodactyl and landed on Scizor, sending him down.
With the wide wing span, Aerodactyl used Wing Attack at Gengar.
Two of Kota's pokemons were directly injured by Aerodactyl within a few seconds in the battle.
"Nidoking! Ice Beam!, " From behind, Kota shouted towards Nidoking.
"Nann!"
Nidoking nodded his head and shot a blue coloured ray at the flying Aerodactyl.
"Aeee!"
Nidoking managed to hit Aerodactyl with Ice Beam, but it was only at one of the feet.
"Aeee!"
Gazing down at Nidoking on the top of the hill, Aerodactyl flapped its wings.
Kota couldn't even see Aerodactyl, it was so fast that only a shadow was visible.
Aerial Ace!
Nidoking was slashed by Aerodactyl, it would have been a direct knockout if not for Nidoking' toughness.
Aerodactyl flew back at Nidoking and swung its wings that glowed in silver.
Steel Wing!
"Nann!"
Nidoking crashed down on the ground forming a very big crater.
But because of this, Onix got the opportunity to attack Aerodactyl.
*Boom*
Onix slammed with Iron Tail at Aerodactyl, the latter was crushed on the ground.
"Oaaa!"
With his head, Onix crushed down on Aerodactyl. The sound of cracking was loud enough for Kota to hear.
"Aeee!"
With a bright light, Onix was hit with a Hyper Beam from Aerodactyl.
"Aeee!"
Swinging its wing, Aerodactyl attacked at Onix with Steel Wing.
"Scizor!"
Two white lights came from Scizor not far, which blasted off at Aerodactyl.
Flash Cannon!
"Gengar!"
Cold and strong wind was blown at Aerodactyl by Gengar from the air.
Icy Wind!
"Nann!"
With the ray of blue, Nidoking fired Ice Beam at the already fallen Aerodactyl.
"Aeee!"
Facing the attacks from multiple sides, Aerodactyl was in despair.
"Aeee!"
Aerodactyl channeled his remaining energy to his legs and stomped on the ground.
Kota could feel the tremors from the ground, he looked at Aerodactyl in amazement.
'How strong can a wild pokemon be, ' Thought Kota, he expected that the trained pokemons are always stronger than the ones found in the wild.
"Aeee!"
With a burst of shock, Aerodactyl performed his last move with the last of his energy.
Earthquake!
The entire hill trembled while Kota rolled down the hill. He survived because of getting a hold of a tree branch.
The loud screams of his pokemons were heard. Kota was very shocked as well as stunned by Aerodactyl.
Few minutes later, the hill was full of deep cracks that reached the foot of the hill.
Kota slowly walked up to find Gengar and Scizor helping Onix and Nidoking to get up.
On the side, Aerodactyl was unconscious. Kota called back Onix, Scizor, Gengar and Nidoking.
The destruction was enough to scare Kota. Everything was destroyed on the top of the hill.
"I am really happy that you are in my team now, " Kota touched the pokeball on the body of the fallen Aerodactyl.
*Ting!*
Success!
Kota breathed in relief. He then pulled out Charizard' pokeball from the waist belt.
"Sorry to bother but I need your help, " Kota called Charizard out and climbed on his back.
"Chaa!"
Charizard shook his head to Kota, he then flapped with his wings to take off.
As they flew in the air towards the end of the cave they came from.
Both Kota and Charizard felt like a pair of eyes stared at them from far.
"What's it?, " Kota and Charizard turned to look at one direction that they felt the eyes are.
What they saw was a pokemon that looked like a lion from Kota's past life.
Kota had his eyes wide open, he knew what exactly the pokemon was.
But even before he realized, the pokemon had left the spot in a sprint.
"Entei, why are you here?, " Said Kota, Charizard continued to fly as he didn't see any hostile behavior from Entei.
"Is it a sign of good luck or the opposite?, " Muttered Kota, he closed his eyes and didn't think anymore.
Soon, they reached the exit of the cave and came out from the hope.
With the help of Charizard, Scizor and Gengar. Kota closed the hole like before.
Their mission for this visit was completed.
Then in the nearest Pokemon Center, Kota received a new message from the director.
The trailer of the movie he played a role in, was released and caused a sensation worldwide.
