During the whole trip, Leo kept asking about Lilian but all to no avail, he didn't get any response which made him more curious.
Eva was so angry with the guy that wouldn't stop asking her about Lilian. Addy was getting frustrated because he was hoping to see her smile but she didn't, so he thought about sending Leo back to the office.
"Can you give us a minute please?" Addy said to Eva as he pulled Leo to the side
Eva nodded as she gave them some space.
"Who you stop embarrassing me or you want me to send you back to the office?" Addy said with a deadly glare
Apparently, he didn't know he was asking the same question over and over again, his body was there but his mind wasn't. It wasn't until Addy called his attention that he realised his mind was somewhere else.
He told Addy he wouldn't mention it again, he decided to push the thought at the back of his mind and focus on what they are here for.
They went to five locations, for her to choose where she would want her company branch before they discuss the architecture of the building. After checking the last location, Addy had already told Leo to go back home after checking the last site, he was also in a hurry to get back home anyway so he agreed.
Addy told his driver to go with Leo, that he would find his way back home. It was already evening, Addy suggested they get some food in a nearby restaurant to discuss the next plan.
When they were about to leave the last location, Addy explained to Eva that there's an urgent meeting Leo had to attend to at home and he didn't have any options than to tell him to go and hope she wouldn't mind if he hitches a ride. She was reluctant at first but agreed.
When they got to the restaurant, it seemed like he had booked them a private booth because as soon as the manager saw them he greeted them bowing to show his respect.
Eva didn't know he actually owns the building and he has the largest share in the restaurant, which makes him the owner.
He owns different successful businesses apart from his family business and owns shares in a lot of companies which makes him the richest man in the country.
The manager took them to a luxurious private room which can contain up to eight people on the top floor of the building.
The manager gave them a menu each and waited patiently for them to choose what they want. After selecting their foods and drinks, they continued their discussion as the manager left for the kitchen
"So which location would you like among the five places we went to?" Addy asked
"Is it possible to get back to you on that? I need to do more research about the locations because I'm caught between location A, C and D" Eva replied
"Hmm I get what you mean, sure you can get back to us, but I would urge you to make your decision as soon as possible" Addy replied
She nodded.
Eva brought out her photo camera to see the pictures of the locations again and decided to show them to Lilian if she has any opinion about any location.
Addy didn't say but couldn't help but stare at her and was studying every contour on her face.
There was a knock on the door, Eva thought it was the waitress bringing their foods and drinks but to her surprise, it was her cousin and his girlfriend.
"Oh I invited them since we were in their city, so why not have meals together," Addy said casually as they all exchanged greetings. Addy called the manager to come and get their orders as well after he left the room,
"Hey cous, are you not happy to see me?" Joey teased her
"Are you Santa Claus or you are bringing me money?" She also teased him as she put away her camera
She hugged her cousin's girlfriend Olivia
"It's been forever since I've seen you, how have you been?" Olivia tightened her hug
"Yo girl you're crushing me. I'm good, it's you that disowned your best friend because of her ugly cousin" Eva teased her
Eva and Olivia have best friends since they were young but because they both had different vision and careers, they've not seen each other in about six months.
Olivia is a really gifted cardiologist surgeon. Due to the nature of her job, she has lost a lot of friends but only Eva her best friend understands her.
"My boyfriend is not ugly, you are the ugly one," Olivia said as she smacked Eva and they both giggled as they could hear a slight knock on the door, a banquet was placed on the table as they began to eat.
"I've missed you so much, you won't imagine I've been on-call for the past two weeks and I managed to get a day off today" Olivia continued
"Aww, bless your sweetheart. I missed you so much too, I was planning to surprise you but didn't know I would be the one to be surprised"
The girls kept chatting as if they were the only ones in the room.
Addy was surprised by the change of attitude and was mesmerised by her. Joey was observing him and could tell Addy likes his cousin.
"Is there anyone you like Addy?" Joey threw the question at him
