Chapter 3: Meeting an old nemesis
Ethan Zhao didn't stay for very long. In the end, he simply spoke two sentences before he left.
Yena laid on the bed, thinking over their conversation. After confirming that there were no slip-ups, she released a slight sigh of relief. However, for some inexplicable reason, she felt there was still something wrong.
After lying down for a while longer, Yena realized what was wrong! Newlyweds! Didn't they say that Ethan Zhao and this woman Su Yena had just gotten married a few weeks ago? Isn't that the time when you're meant to be joined at the hip? A passionate time for the couple? Why was it that Ethan Zhao seemed so calm when his wife became injured and suffered from amnesia? Wasn't he afraid that his wife would forget him and fall for another man after leaving the hospital?
Yena frowned and thought for a while, but immediately afterward, she smoothed out her brow and elatedly started humming. "I think I know what my role is".
"I should gather more information. It's clear to me now that Mr. Zhao maybe the male lead and I'm just the unloved wife, a supporting role here. Should I play the villain of this story? Guess I'll just have to wait till the female lead shows up."

In the afternoon, a bunch of guests came in the afternoon.
They were Su Yena's coworkers. With amnesia as an excuse, Yena easily dealt with all of them. At the same time, she conveniently uncovered a lot of information about the original owner of this body. Yena contemplated harder. 'What if I do whatever I want and if the system comes back then...then..Yes! That's it! I'll do what I want and then if Chuchu comes back then I'll do my mission!' Yena excitedly thought. She decided she need to learn about this world.
After thinking things through, Yena felt her whole body brimming with enthusiasm and strength and called the nurse. Unfortunately, the nurses stopped her.
"You can't, Mrs. Zhao you've just had surgery on your leg. You can't leave the hospital for the time being."
"Just for one trip? That also won't do. Mr. Zhao, he…."
Right when they spoke of Mr. Zhao, Mr. Zhao arrived.
"What's going on?" Ethan Zhao frowned as he asked.
The little nurse told him of Yena's request for a trip. Ethan Zhao looked at Yena, "Why do you suddenly want to go out?"
Yena looked him in the eyes, "I'm bored. I want to take a look at outside."
Ethan Zhao slightly raised an eyebrow, "You can do it after you have recovered."
"I—" The words "Oh come on you didn't tell me anything about me so why are you so nosy" were just about to jump out of her mouth when Yena suddenly realized that she was currently the wife called Su Yena.
Ethan Zhao didn't make a sound. [Yena] didn't know whether he was being skeptical or still hesitating.
Ethan Zhao was silent for a moment, then said, "I'll take you."

Early the next morning, Ethan fulfilled his promise to come to the hospital and take her outside.
In order to alleviate the anger growing in her heart just looking at his face, yena, started to draw Ethan into a conversation.
"Mr. Zhao." Yena spoke.
"..."
"Mr. Zhao?"
Ethan Zhao still didn't make a sound.
Yena was angry. She turned her head up to look at him but saw Ethan Zhao lightly shoot a glance at her.
Ethan Zhao said collectedly, "Ethan."
"Huh?"
"Or you can say 'hubby'."
Yena wanted to slap his face but stopped her self.
"What's wrong?" Ethan asked.
"I… I forgot!"
Ethan Zhao turned his head and didn't looked at Yena.
"Ethan Zhao!" Yena called him
Moments of silence went by.
"…Alright, Ethan. You also know that right now I've lost my memories. I can't remember anything from the past so let's talk about our past."
"Okay." Mr. Zhao replied.
"My first question is, in the past, have you always been so stingy with your words?"
Ethan was puzzled but replied. "You weren't talkative like right now.."
Yena asked again, "Well…Then, in the past, what kind of person was I?"
"Also less talkative right now"
"Ahemm .. that.. I… Ethan. How did the two of us meet?" 'Dear lord can I kill him?'
"At a club."
Yena was a little shocked. Originally she thought Su Yena was the type of traditional girl who had never set foot into a bar before.
Ethan Zhao, this guy, he must be so good at seducing women. If Yena married him, then she probably has a very unswerving feelings towards him.
"In the past, did I… umm, that… really like you?"
Unexpectedly Ethan Zhao turned and looked at her once more, followed by an unexpected silent.

After that, he heard Mr. Zhao's voice speak out moderately, "Aren't you the clearest in your own heart about how much you like me?"
"I, someone from another dimension, definitely do not like you!" Yena said fiercely in her heart. She rolled her eyes and sincerely said, "No matter if liked you or not in the past, right now I can't remember it. If… I'm saying suppose if… I can no longer like you, what do we do?"
Ethan Zhao lined up the steering to the front with his hand. He indifferently said, "You want to get divorced?"
'That would be appropriate! I can live this life and do things I wished to do before.'
Although she was violently agreeing in her mind, Yena wasn't stupid enough to show all her cards to Ethan Zhao at this time. After all, right now Ethan Zhao was considered her only support. Whether it was food or clothing or housing, she had to depend on this big wealthy boss Zhao. And so, before could figure out another solution, she would need to curry favor with this 'hubby' of hers.
And so, Yena said with a smile, "How can that be?"
Ethan Zhao was silent again. Right when Yena thought he was going to keep being silent, he suddenly heard Ethan Zhao unhurriedly say, "Then keep working hard on it."
Yena was stupefied. "Work hard on what?"
Ethan Zhao expressionlessly, "Liking me."
